** In episode 4 of season 1, Trevor battled Alucard to a near stalemate, with Trevor quipping that he never intended to survive the battle, only to kill Alucard before he could be killed himself. Come season 4's finale with the battle against Death, we learn that it wasn't just a snide remark... Trevor is ''truly'' willing to give up his life if it means doing the right thing. Even back then, before most of his character-development, he was always that same good person deep down, buried under layers of cold bitterness.
