* Why did the rangers bother with hiding their identities as rangers? It makes sense in the six previous seasons, as the rangers there were minors, and could either worry their parents or alert the local police, which would want them to stop because of the destructions their fights cause. But in Lost Galaxy, the rangers are all adults (Aside from Leo and possibly Maya), and they're located in a space colony which doesn't have as much as people as in Angel Grove or Earth in general, so the Rangers would probably know them well and trust them. At the very least they could've told Commander Stanton about their secret identities.

* The crevice Mike fell into in "Quasar Quest" was clearly on Mirinoi. The crevice the Magna Defender fell into 3000 years prior was clearly on his (unnamed) home planet. So how exactly could they be the same crevice?! Were they somehow linked to an interdimensional location?
* Plenty of this regarding the Rangers' powers, abilities and even Zords. This stems from having to adapt the Sentai stuff while the TroubledProduction occurred. Are the Galactabeasts, as their names would imply, be related to the Lost Galaxy? (And what was up with those balls of energy fired down from space when the Rangers unpetrified the Galactabeasts?) Who created the Quasar Sabers and other weapons, and how did the Rangers know what they were and how to use them? (Some behind-the-scenes stuff says that Zordon placed the Sabers on Mirinoi, but that still doesn't clear things up one way or the other.) How were they related to the Galaxy Book? Why did it seem like Mirinoi was in the Lost Galaxy but later wasn't? Where did the Lights of Orion come from, and how'd they get onto Terra Venture to begin with?

* Hexuba's Graveyard is a very weird episode. First, how does Hexuba, who is located in the Lost Galaxy, have an entire graveyard of monsters who died in the Milky Way galaxy? Second, these monsters were affiliated with Scorpius' and Trakeena's Army, not Captain Mutiny's Crew, so wouldn't Captain Mutiny, being afraid of Trakeena, object to using monsters that served her? Third, why is Treacheron mad at the Magna Defender for killing him when it was Leo who killed him? Fourth, there were some other revived monsters the rangers forgot about, judging by the large number of streaks. Who were these monsters and what happened to them?

* This is more a Gingaman issue, but why exactly did the Rangers' suits and equipment have all these "V" symbols? The following series had a lot of V symbols too, but their source sentai had a V in their name; Gingaman didn't. Was it a Series/HikariSentaiMaskman situation where they changed the name after they designed the suits and such?

** Mike probably didn't want Leo to come on the journey. After all, he wasn't happy to see Leo during a live training exercise on the moon.

* So... Why wasn't Leo originally selected for Terra Venture? Like, even if there were some kind of lottery and he got a poor lot of the draw, he's family to a member of the senior staff. Wouldn't that give him some cause for being brought on board, to at least offer some connection to family for those leaving Earth behind - especially when, given Leo, Maya, and Damon all not having been part of the initial manifest, so it's not like a couple of additional people seriously damages their resources, especially considering that Maya's role on Terra Venture is never really defined? It's not so much that there's no explanation for why - when the series starts, he does seem BrilliantButLazy, especially when we see him failing to work within Terra Venture's official officer structure under Kai, so it's an easy assumption for - but it's never actually said clearly why he wasn't part of the initial crew manifest.

** Perhaps the engines hadn't been used and Damon wasn't sure if they even had fuel anymore? Or that whatever fuel they did have might be expired? It'd be like a car that sits in your driveway because it needs to be repaired, so it just sits there.

* Why was Damon so convinced that the Megaship couldn't fly? Even before the time jump got retconned, this was still taking place explicitly at a point where Bulk and Skull and the Professor were roughly the same age they'd been during Astronema's invasion, so still at a point where people would still remember the Megaship showing up and turning into a Megazord every week. And, as we see soon after, it's not even like the Megaship had its engines removed or anything, as it was able to fly from Earth to the portal to Mirinoi in short order.

** Given the behind the scenes issues that Lost Galaxy got hit with, they may have originally intended for Bulk and the Professor to have a larger role than they did, and then that just got lost in the shuffle.

** There were lots of meddling involved with this. Trakeena's first priority was to go after the Red Ranger and the Power Rangers for killing his father to consume her. Since Villamax trained her, Trakeena was influenced to honorably go after the rangers. On the other hand, Deviot has manipulated the course of the conquest, adding even more conflict to decisions made.

** Trakeena has allowed her vengeance with the Power Rangers for killing his father to consume her. She would focus on them as top priority instead of trying to destroy Terra Venture. * Did an intelligent villain like Trakeena really even have to waste any time sending monsters of the week? This troper finds it very surprising that she didn't think to attack Terra Venture directly, specifically firing at the engines, before being fused with Deviot.

* Why did they even bother writing Skull out of the show? Bulk and the Professor spend so little time on-camera this season that surely they could have arranged for Jason Narvy to show up to join in the brief cameos without disrupting his schedule too much.
