** Series/KamenRiderGotchard features alchemical Mons called Chemies that can be used for various fusions (seemingly Power Boosters since the humans appear to be in total control, but physically Composites):
*** Gotchard himself uses his TransformationTrinket to fuse with two Chemies at once, able to become either a warrior with characteristics of both, or a flat-out mashup of the two Chemies -- for instance, he can combine with a grasshopper and a steam train to become a steam-powered grasshopper, or a pirate and a sports car to become a wheeled pirate ship.
*** If a Chemy is exposed to a hateful, malicious human, then it will unwillingly be drawn to them and they'll merge into a dangerous Malgam monster. However, it's shown at least once that a Chemy can also voluntarily share their power in a sort of reverse-Malgam fusion: when a wrestler Chemy befriended a retired fighter, it merged with him and brought him back to his prime, allowing him to aid Gotchard and fulfill his wish to get back in the ring at least once.

** Series/KamenRiderDenO: Ryotaro (and to a lesser extent, Yuuto) contract with various heroic Imagin who possess their partners. This results in the possessed human's body being controlled by the Imagin and speaking with his voice while gaining some outward physical changes (like glowing eyes and a lock of hair, both in the Imagin's personal color). This also extends to their Rider forms, where an Imagin taking control causes the Rider suit to change armor, weapons, and abilities based on the Imagin's personality. Ultimately, possession is a Power Booster for the Imagin, as having a physical body gives them advantages but their host has little to no control. Late in the series, Den-O Climax Form is a case of Five Beings, One Body; as Ryotaro is possessed by all four of his partner Imagin at once and they share control of his body. Super Climax Form from The Onigashima Warship escalates this as a case of Six Beings, One Body; as Ryotaro is not only possessed by all four of his partner Imagin, but also Sieg, at once; and all five still share control of his body.

** In Series/KyukyuSentaiGogoV, the three Psyma Beast siblings Zoodo, Jiin, and Guuru, who were used here for Demonite, Falkar, and Thunderon, were combined into the three faced Chimera, which was used here for the monster Troika.
** TheMovie of Series/MiraiSentaiTimeranger included the return of the previous series Spell Master Pierre, who merged with unused monster Killer Boxer Boribaru, forming the gigantic Pierrebori, which was used on Series/PowerRangersTimeForce as the unrelated monster Quarganon.
** TheMovie of Series/NinpuuSentaiHurricaneger had the two Space Ninsaru, who could combine into the giant Ashurasaru. The series proper also had the Ninja Wolf Beasts Fangarou, who could combine to form the Giant Beast Fangerus, which was used here for the Wolfblades.
** Towards the finale of Series/BakuryuuSentaiAbaranger, two of the main villains, Visionary Messenger Voffa and Creative Messenger Mikela are merged into the monster Dezumovoorla, the temporary host of their master Wicked Life God Dezumozorlya. Used on Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder as an unnamed monster of the week.
** Series/KaitouSentaiLupinrangerVsKeisatsuSentaiPatranger
Series/KaitouSentaiLupinrangerVsKeisatsuSentaiPatranger had this as a regular for the Patrangers. To be specific, all three members fused into one body when using Good Striker as the key for the fusion. Due to not being assign individual SuperForm like their counterparts, Lupinranger, this becomes their regular form when doing finisher. The Lupinrangers also had one but as a summer movie exclusive, which is Lupin Tri-Colour.

* Firestorm appears in the Franchise/Arrowverse first as the fusion of Martin Stein and Ronnie Raymond on Series/TheFlash2014 then as Stein and Jefferson Jackson on Series/LegendsOfTomorrow. An evil Earth-2 version, Deathstorm, also appears in one Flash episode.

Added DiffLines:

* Franchise/PowerRangers
** Series/PowerRangersInSpace: Darkonda can force Ecliptor (and possibly others, though we've never seen it) to fuse with him, becoming Darkliptor. Darkliptor has the design and weapons of both, but the voice and will of Darkonda only. (Ecliptor has been able to force a separation, but not control the combined form.) Another case of a Power Booster that looks like a Composite.
** Jack, Nick and Mack ALL gained their "battlized" forms by fusing with allies: the RobotBuddy R.I.C, the dragon Fireheart and the Sentinel Knight. Sentinel could talk (through a giant face on the armor; it's as unnerving as it sounds) but it's not clear if he could take the driver's seat. Again, Power Booster disguised as Composite.
* In one episode of Series/StarTrekVoyager, Neelix and Tuvok are accidentally merged together. The new hybrid character "Tuvix" (played by a new actor) didn't want to be separated, and Captain Janeway did it by force. Tuvix had several of the positive traits of both component beings, including a sense of humor (which Tuvok didn't have) and edible cooking (Neelix was a decent cook, but all the dishes he knew how to prepare were radically different from Alpha Quadrant tastes).
* Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer:
** In the climax of season 4, the Slayer temporarily merges (mentally) with her three sidekicks to acquire Willow's magical talent, Giles's obscure knowledge, and Xander's heart. (If you're thinking so what, go watch any number of episodes where he demonstrates non-powered bravery.)
** The First Evil does one with Caleb.
* Franchise/KamenRider:
** Series/KamenRiderKiva does the Power Booster example. Kiva gains alternate forms by using his allies as weapons and adopting some of their traits.
** Series/KamenRiderDouble uses Two Beings, One Body, as when Shotaro and Phillip transform into Double, Phillip passes out and his consciousness transfers to Shotaro's body. Double himself speaks with the voices of his individual parts in unison, though both halves can also engage in conversation with each other. MidSeasonUpgrade [=FangJoker=] reverses the dynamic, using Phillip's body and Shotaro's mind, while for Double's SuperMode [=CycloneJokerXtreme=], the TransformationTrinket actually absorbs Phillip's body and merges it with Shotaro for a true Fusion Dance.
** Series/KamenRiderBuild: In the movie Be The One Sento/Build and Ryuga/Cross-Z fuse into [=Cross-ZBuild=], which is Two Beings, One Body very similar to Double.
** Series/KamenRiderZiO: Sougo fuses with Geiz and Woz when using his Trinity form. It usually functions as a Power Booster for Sougo, as he gets the powers and weapons of the others while they can talk to him in his head; but it's also a Switcher (at least mentally) since either Geiz or Woz can also take control of their shared body from Sougo if they choose.
* The Franchise/UltraSeries often uses a Switcher-type for its heroes, having an alien Ultra-being bond with a (typically recently dead) human. There have also been composite types.
** Series/UltramanAce actually has a double example, with Ace bonding with two humans, a man and a woman, who would then fuse together to give him control.
** Series/UltramanCosmos and Ultraman Justice fuse into Ultraman Legend in TheMovie Ultraman Cosmos vs. Ultraman Justice: The Final Battle.
** In the GrandFinale of Series/UltramanMebius,
** Ultraman Mebius can also fuse with the first six ultra heroes to become Infinity mode, which is used in the Mebius and the Ultra Brothers movie to battle the gargantuan U-Killersaurus. This is more of a power booster.
** Franchise/UltramanZero, Series/UltramanDyna, and the before-mentioned Cosmos fuse into Film/UltramanSaga in the movie of the same name in order to battle the kaiju Hyper Zetton.
** Series/UltramanGinga and Victory can become Ginga Victory, though it required some training from Ultraman Zero to achieve it, as seen in TheMovie.
** Averted by Series/UltramanOrb and Series/UltramanGeed. Their various forms look like they're composites of themselves and two other Ultramen (or three in the case of Orb Trinity), but they're really just PowerCopying. Though forms based on the evil Ultraman Belial do have a bit of his personality seep through.
** In Series/UltramanRB, Ultramen Rosso and Blu can merge into Ultraman Ruebe. In TheMovie, they take it a step further by also merging with their little sister Ultrawoman Grigio, becoming Ultraman Gruebe.
* Series/Dollhouse: Echo and Alpha are both prime examples of this; to a lesser extent, other dolls are as well.
** Even the individual imprints are, since they are usually composites of different people made into one personality.
* Series/HyakujuuSentaiGaoranger; After being reduced to puddles of goo, the three Highness Duke Orgs are combined into the Ultimate Org Senki, who possesses elements of all their bodies.
* In Series/KaizokuSentaiGokaiger, when Gai can't decide which of Go-ongers Sixth Rangers he wants to transform into, the keys combine into one that has the power of both Go-on Wings. A Composite type, since the suit is half-and-half ala Double (he even riffs on their catchphrase), and Gai has two Rocket Daggers available.
** He does it again later with the [=GokaiRed=] and [=GokaiGreen=] keys, in a one-time fusion to create [=GokaiChristmas=].
** And then there's his SuperMode, gained by merging all the SixthRanger keys into the Golden Anchor Key.
** An Omake has Gai and Marvelous fuse together into a hilarious mishmash of each other, which passes down to their initial transformation, which utterly confuses the announcer upon seeing the silver jacket of [=GokaiSilver=] with the red helmet and boots of [=GokaiRed=]
** TheMovie of the series featured the return of every single Mook that had appeared in the series up to that point, fusing together into the Combined Combatant.
* This actually happens a lot in many seasons of Franchise/SuperSentai, usually with villains and monsters.
** In TheMovie of Series/JAKQDengekitai, the Crime Big Four merge to form the Big Four Robo, though it bears little resemblance to any of the four.
** Series/GoseiSentaiDairanger features the Gorma Four Deva Kings, whose combined form was used on Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers as the generic monster Four Head. Later, in TheMovie of the Series, which went unadapted, The Duke Of Cards used his magic playing cards to merge himself and four other revived monsters into Great King Ojaru.
** Series/ChourikiSentaiOhranger had Yokai Onbu Obake, and Machine Beast Bara Gear, who merged together to form “Onbu-Gear”. Used for Impursonator and Cog Changer on Series/PowerRangersZeo, who formed “Cog-Impursonator”.
** Series/DenjiSentaiMegaranger had Giga-Guirail, the combined form of Guirail and Yugande, the Japanese counterparts of the above Darkonda and Ecliptor. In the same series, the Soldiers Kunekune can combine into the King Kunekune, which was used here for the Craterites and Craterite Conglomerate, respectively.
** In Series/SeijuuSentaiGingaman, Spectral Empress Iliess can combine with the souls of her fallen Majin, becoming the monstrous Evil Empress Iliess.
** In Series/KyukyuSentaiGogoV, the three Psyma Beast siblings Zoodo, Jiin, and Guuru, who were used here for Demonite, Falkar, and Thunderon, were combined into the three faced Chimera, which was used here for the monster Troika.

Due to not being assign individual SuperForm like their counterparts, Lupinranger, this becomes their regular form when doing finisher. The Lupinrangers also had one but as a summer movie exclusive, which is Lupin Tri-Colour.
* The live-action series Shazam! features the Billy Batson/Captain Marvel Switcher.
* Its companion series Isis (AKA The Secrets of Isis) features Andrea Thomas transforming into the Egyptian goddess Isis.
* On Series/TeenWolf, [[spoiler: the twin brother Alphas Aiden and Ethan can do this to become a big super-Alpha]].
* Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000 "Mitchell":
--> Dr. Forrester: "Oh, Frank, look! Remember? The double butt graft! My science project from Evil-O's. I grafted the butt of a dog onto the butt of a cat. Sure, they all laughed...."
