* When Policeman A shows up to berate Franchouchou for performing without a permit (and nearly recognizes Sakura as the zombie girl he keeps running into), Kotaro hastily bundles the girls into the van and [[DrivesLikeCrazy erratically drives off]].
** Then there's the [[LargeHam dub version]] as he rushes them along, coming out of nowhere:

** During Tae's turn, she promptly sinks so far down that the mud goes up past her face, even while still going on her bike. [[RuleOfFunny Despite the mud being nowhere near that deep to begin with]].

** During the biking competition she slips off the side of the track... and continues biking forward even as she slowly sinks into the mud.

* Kotaro's LargeHam nature and tendency to just brush over any questions as though the answer should be obvious means that almost any time he speaks there's a bundle of laughs to be had.

* Kotaro does his morning meeting wearing a cardboard box TV set on his head. As he announces his plan is to have the girls do a TV news spot, Tae is seen wearing it herself.

* After being called out by Sakura, Kotaro mopes in a restaurant while Yugiri comes to dance for him as his geisha. She then gives him a GetAHoldOfYourselfMan ArmorPiercingSlap (with each slap going frame-by-frame and him reacting in pain) to tell him to have more faith in Sakura, to which he weakly protests he ''just'' said that.

* Kotaro, being somewhat fed up with Ai asking him about the current situation and population of the Saga prefecture, screams that he is not [[Wiki/{{Wikipedia}} Wiki***ia]], complete with a SoundEffectBleep.

* Maimai's first attempt at dance practice leads to her being awkwardly entangled in her own limbs. [[{{Corpsing}} Saki has to struggle not to laugh outright.]]

* Yugiri shows her ruthless side, suggesting Maimai will have to die to keep their secret, much to the others' horror, then acknowledging that's probably not the best idea, causing the others to let out a collective sigh of relief. [[FunnyAneurysmMoment It becomes less funny when we learn her story in life...]]

** Before ''Revenge'' aired, a promotional poster with "Franchouchou vs. Aliens" was released on April Fools day. Given what the stinger involved, what everyone brushed off as a joke was actually clever foreshadowing!

* Kotaro ends up entering in ''Japanese Got Performance'' too, doing an impression... of "a mudskipper during mating season". Naturally, the only reaction his bizarre act gets from everyone watching is a stunned silence before he gets unanimously voted off by the judges. Saki's comment is icing on the cake:

* Ai finds a message in the boxed lunch Sakura made: the phrase "ganbare" ("Go for it!") spelled out in ''nori'' katakana. But because [[SignsOfDisrepair some of the nori got stuck to the lid of the lunchbox]], it initially reads "kaba" ("hippo") and Ai is briefly insulted until she notices this. In the English version, the subtitles translate the full message as "YOU'LL SUCCEED" and the incomplete version as "YOU SUC" [sic].

* Okaba spies Tae entering a graveyard and follows her in, hoping for an important clue - before seeing that she's ''[[CrossesTheLineTwice eating a grave's offerings]].'' And the grave in question turns out to be ''HERS!''

* When the house collapses, Lily has a surprisingly understated reaction to it, saying [[SeenItAll it's hard to get worked up when so much weird stuff has happened to them]].
* When Machiko tells Tae (AKA "Zeroko") to go ahead and eat up, Tae gets over-excited and affectionately noms on Machiko's face while Ai and Junko's eyes literally pop out of their sockets like Sakura's did. Machiko casually remarks that Tae must be ''really'' hungry while patting her.

* Ai finds a message in the boxed lunch Sakura made: the phrase "ganbare" ("Go for it!") spelled out in ''nori'' katakana. But because [[SignsOfDisrepair some of the nori got stuck to the lid of the lunchbox]], it initially reads "kaba" ("hippo") and Ai is briefly insulted. ** During the denouement the girls are shown to be piecing the guitar back together with glue on standby, and back at the house Tae and Romero of all people (and dog) are the ones helping out with repairing it.

* Like before, being charged with electricity somehow gives the girls of Franchouchou quite a few abilities (auto-tune, shooting lasers from their fingers, etc), with much greater visual variety this time around. Yui of Iron Frill, however, is a little bewildered and asks [[LampshadeHanging how exactly those special effects work.]]
