[[folder:Wii Party]]
!!Board Game Island
* The first video starts off with the Guys observing the weird Miis Emile has on the title screen.
** The Miis also show up as a cheering or commiserating crowd during the game, leading to Jon's RunningGag "CAPTAIN FALCON APPROVES!" or "CAPTAIN FALCON DOES NOT APPROVE!"
** One of the minigames involves the Guys having to take pictures of a crowd of Miis when the biggest number of them is smiling. Unfortunately, said crowd of Miis are made up of Emile's esoteric collection, including many ones where it's impossible to tell if they're smiling or not...
*** Some of the Miis seen on Emile's Wii are Captain Falcon, Pikachu, Brock, Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Chicken Little, Bubbles, Porky Minch, Mr. Saturn, Satoru Iwata, Michael Jackson, a Mii with a penguin for a face, a Mii whose face resembles a bicycle, and a horse.
* Due to having only three players, the game randomly picks a Mii as a fourth character for them. The one it picks is a male Mii named ''[[{{LetsPlay/Lucahjin}} Luca]]''.
-->'''Jon:''' "Hey, Lucahjin! You look different this time...That's a nice goatee you have, Lucahjin..."\\
'''Tim:''' "I knew it was too good to be true..."\\
'''Emile:''' "I knew it was gonna pick something stupid, but I didn't know that..."\\
'''Tim:''' "[[WillTheyOrWontThey All those times I]] fff- never mind..."\\
'''Jon:''' "Ho ho..."\\
'''Tim:''' "Juuuust kidding...!"\\
'''Jon:''' "Oh Tim..."
** And then Reese herself comments:
--->'''Reese:''' OH MY GOD.. I LOOK SO GOOD :D Yeeahhhhh ladies!!!!!
* The ridiculous voice Emile does for the announcer.
-->'''Jon:''' "The ''normal'' voice is the highlight voice?!"
** Near the end of the game, where the voice starts to revert back to his [[VideoGame/KirbysReturnToDreamland Magolor]] voice.
* Jon yelling "SUPERMAN!" during Cosmic Capers.
* Tim does really well for most of the board, especially in the minigames, but his last few die rolls send him not only backwards about fifteen or so spaces, but then to hell[[note]]what Jon dubs the volcano[[/note]]. I guess the universe had to rebalance itself after his win on ''VideoGame/FortuneStreet''.
* At the end, "How many teams have George Jefferson and a snowman on them?"
* The outro consists of Tim and Jon stating their names in an unsure manner, then Emile claiming he forgot his own name.
-->'''Emile:''' "Time to start a JRPG about my amnesia!"
* In the Walk-Off mini game, where the players must try to travel a certain distance, Jon goes way past the mark while everyone else stops behind it, leading to this CallBack.
-->'''Jon:''' "[[CatchPhrase Bye, everybody!]] I don't understand yards!"

!!Globe Trot
* Jon's reaction to the game's choice of souvenir in Canada (a bottle of maple syrup).
-->'''Jon:''' "THAT'S RACIST! THAT'S RACIST! Also, why is it in Vancouver? It should be in Quebec! THAT'S RACIST!"
** Even funnier, Jon eventually gets that space. And Emile gets the Mexican one where he buys a sombrero, which Jon thinks is even more racist.
* Jon buys a helicopter and gets it stolen by the CPU right after that.
-->'''Jon:''' "YOU JERK! I just bought that!" *Mii Jon rummages through pockets and panics* "Why is my helicopter not in my pocket?!"
** And then later on, Jon buys several vehicle cards, and Emile jokes about him using them all at once. Cue Jon wanting to ride a taxi inside a train that's being carried by a helicopter.
** Actually, a lot of things involving vehicle cards, and ''anything'' involving helicopters.
* Jon comparing Emile's version of the announcer's voice to 'a Russian Elmo'.
* The group pointing out how they're talking more about economics while playing the game than they did on their Fortune Street LP, leading to [[CallBack Jon doing his]] [[FanNickname "Mexican Waluigi"]] voice again.
* Emile uses a card that lets him travel to any airport in the world. One of his choices is [[WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants FINLAND!]] Jon also notes that there are only 3 airports Emile can choose from and questions what happened to the economy.
* In Episode 3, [[https://youtu.be/3NH5T01ruQc?t=135 Emile recounts the first time that he and Tim went to Canada and caused a car accident.]] That in itself isn't too funny, but the circumstances make it much funnier in hindsight. In Canada they had experimental crosswalks designed to prevent accidents, and Emile, having never seen or used them before, [[{{Irony}} used one and caused a car to slam their brakes and get rear-ended.]]

!!Swap Meet
* After Tim is left out of the intro and points it out, he proceeds to dominate the rest of the game.
* During the intro of the game itself, Emile tries to use his Russian Elmo voice and Jon interjects, resulting in the two of them arguing over the use of it. Meanwhile Tim's quietly thumbing through the explanation screens for the players at home, causing Emile and Jon to accuse each other of doing it to avoid Russian Elmo. Jon then asks "Russian Elmo" to explain the game, which he does pretty well.
* Emile points out that the game randomly chose a stripe scheme for his Mii and the other blue Miis, making them look like they're all wearing [[IconicOutfit polo shirts]].
* Tim swaps out a Mii, Emile says that Mii was his mom's ex-boyfriend, Jon comments "Well ''she'' didn't want him!"
* Jon initially tries to build a three in a row with platinum Miis for extra points, but eventually switches a platinum Mii for a blue Mii for an easier match. [[https://youtu.be/rZvFOAAubRo&t=13m38s After the minigame...]]
-->'''Jon''': "I'll take the guy who kinda looks like me..."\\
* chooses random Mii that turns out to be platinum*\\
'''Jon''': (while Emile is laughing) "This is how this game's going to go, isn't it?"\\
'''Tim''': "What the balls?"
* In the mini-game "Risky Railroad" where each player must pick to go left, right, or straight and [[LuckBasedMission hope it doesn't lead to a dead end]], Emile tries to [[VideoGame/MarioParty win by doing absolutely nothing]] and the game automatically puts him on the straight path each time, but on the second junction, the straight path is the dead end.
-->'''Jon''': "Nice try, Luigi."

!!Spin Off
* At the end of Part 1, Jon has a 1 vs 1 mini game against the CPU. The mini-game's objective is to drive a moped to deliver a pizza. Jon is singing made up lyrics to the ''VideoGame/SpiderMan2'' Pizza Delivery Song, bumps into the curb twice which costs him the mini-game, and Emile states that Jon's singing was the best part of the video.
* After noting that their avatars wear bow ties for this game, Jon keeps making Series/DoctorWho references, which go completely over Emile's head.
** Which has in turn led to fans [[https://twitter.com/EK_24z/status/295270096358739968/photo/1 creating images of]] [[https://twitter.com/RLYoshi1/status/295288706091319296/photo/1 Jon as the Doctor]].
* After getting annoyed with Emile continuing to do the Russian Elmo announcer voice, Jon retaliates by reading out "Bank Bonanza!" in an increasingly deep and slurred voice, which Emile dubs "Bankenstein's Monster".
** At the beginning of the video, Emile is trying to do the Russian Elmo voice before Jon interjects. Emile then begins reading the instructions in an increasingly fast and slurred imitation (with Jon doing his own interpretation underneath and Tim eventually quietly adding in one himself), capping it off with what is basically "Xena the Turkey",.
* The first few rounds mostly consist of medals being added to the bank, leading to about ''12,000'' medals being stored. Then someone activates a minigame -- keep in mind, whoever wins the minigame wins everything in the bank. Jon wins.
** Even more amusingly, when the game ends, there's a [[EndGameResultsScreen line graph]] of how well everyone did. Jon's line ''skyrockets'' absurdly, attracting the amusement of the guys.
---->'''Jon''': "Ha! Take THAT, math! That's what I think of your ''graphs!''"

!!Bingo
* Jon manages to win Walk-Off, giving him the game. His response?
-->'''Jon''': "[[PrecisionFStrike Fuck you]], America! ...I don't know why I said that."
** It's because Walk-Off measures distance in yards.
* The game manages to draw three different Mario Miis in a single game, and the Guys don't like any of them.

!!Pair Games
* "[[UnusuallyUninterestingSight Another day in the robot factory...]]"
* Jon and Tim are playing Meet and Greet, a mini-game where they both need to choose from a set of doors until they see each other. The first door Tim opens has a Mii sitting on a toilet. Tim and Emile shout Tim's catchphrase.
-->'''Tim''': "IN THE BATHROOM!"
* Emile suggests that the real reason a game involves balancing Miis on the sail yards of a ship is a really blatant attempt at people-smuggling over the border.
** Jon's mock {{Wangst}} over the fact that he keeps getting the giant Miis, and especially when the game [[FelonyMisdemeanor gives the Captain Falcon Mii to Tim rather than himself]].
* At the beginning of Friend Connection, Jon jokes about wanting to play as Captain Falcon, then Jon and Emile immediately see [[CrackPairing the featured couples]] and [[https://youtu.be/wFIbL3IEtaA?t=28s react accordingly]].
-->'''Emile:''' *bursts out laughing*\\
'''Jon:''' "CAPTAIN FALCON, WHY ARE YOU DATING THAT HORSE?! Captain Fal... And then, [[Franchise/HarryPotter Snape and... Hermione]]?!"\\
'''Tim:''' "What the heck?"\\
'''Emile:''' "Captain Falcon, you got some 'splaining to do!"
** It led to [[http://t.co/5mhED4TOs1 this gift]] sometime later.
** Became HilariousInHindsight since Jon and Reese are now married.
** When looking over the rules:
--->'''Jon:''' "I'm not allowed to talk to you? Dude, I love this game already!"
* Jon gets locked into doing a sports announcer voice when Tim and Emile play the Match Pairs game.
* Similar to the "George Jefferson and a snowman" example above, at the end Emile comments that "Darth Vader is holding hands with Pippi Longstocking!"
* In Match Up, a game of Memory with Miis, Emile spots a Mii version of [[WesternAnimation/ThePowerpuffGirls Bubbles]] in the crowd and brings up how he used to mishear the theme song as "Buttercup the topless fighter." Jon starts to rant about how Squick-y that would be until he spots himself in the crowd of Miis and lets out a deadpan "Hi. It's me."
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Wii Party U]]
!!Highway Rollers
!!!Episode 1
* The intro starts off with an IncrediblyLamePun.
-->'''Emile''': "[[RussianReversal In Soviet Russia, Wii party U.]]"
* Emile says that the very first thing he saw when he started this game up for the first time was a Miiverse post saying "What the fuck is this shit Nintendo, don't you know how to make good games like Metroid anymore?".
* Jon jokes that, since the first game has them rolling multiple dice at once, they'll be able to directly compare how bad their luck is.
* They keep getting distracted by recognizing the Miis in the background.
* One of the minigames has them in a swimming race, and in the second section [[https://youtu.be/EMdrZ_L8hWM?t=717 they're basically doing somersaults through the water]]. Emile asks if this is really a swimming move, and Jon firmly assures him that it is not. Then the next section has them spinning through the water.
-->'''Emile''': "Is ''this'' a swimming move?"\\
'''Jon''': "Not really! It is a ''dumb'' thing!"

!!!Episode 2
* [[RunningGag "Apathy!"]] [[note]]Jon gets better dice rolls when he doesn't shake up the die dramatically beforehand, so he started using "The power of apathy!"[[/note]]
** "Enthusiasm shall win the day over apathy. They are two sides of the same coin, one cannot exist without the other..." [[note]]Emile being dramatic.[[/note]]
* Emile's [[CallBack announcer voice]] from the last Wii Party game makes its glorious return.
* The first round where the last place player (Tim, in this case) gets to pick the minigame, the choices are knitting, R/C cars, and ''[[BreadEggsMilkSquick unicycling on a cliff]].'' Jon voices his disappointment when Tim picks knitting, saying that the unicycle cliff game looked "badass".
** "EXTREME KNITTING!"

!!!Episode 3
* Jon's first roll of the episode and Emile zooms in on the dice as a die falls off of another one, going from six to a one. Jon didn't take it well.
-->'''Jon''': "THAT'S RUDE! THAT'S RUDE!"
** For added amusement, the die falling on one was actually a blessing, since Jon landed on a positive event space, whereas if he had gotten a 6 on that die, he would have landed on a negative event.
* Emile blabbers about [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext something involving Robocop and helicopters with boobs...]]
-->'''Jon''': "What is with you and giving helicopters boobs? It's very concerning."\\
'''Emile''': ''[frantically thinking of a comeback]'' "Uhh, your fetishes are just as weird!" ''[starts reading the minigame description to get out of the conversation]''\\
'''Tim''': "Ummmm..."\\
'''Jon''': "[[HoYay Do tell me, Emile; what are my fetishes?]]"\\
'''Emile''': ''[awkwardly]'' "Umm...they're [[Franchise/{{Pokemon}} Oddish]]?"

!!Gamepad Island
!!!Part 1
* Jon wins two balance minigames in a row where both Emile and Tim fall off at almost the same time, Emile a frame before Tim. For the first one, [[https://youtu.be/Rtcj9pZN7MA?t=410 they replay it in slow motion.]] Hearing Emile and Tim scream at the same time and then Jon yelling "UNICYCLE CHAMPION!" slowed down is hilarious.

!!!Part 2
* Jon wastes time trying to choose correct path in a cave, as he continues to choose the wrong one, up until only the correct choice is left. Emile then comes up to the cave next, and Jon guesses that he'll choose the right path on the first try. [[TemptingFate Sure enough...]]

!!Mii Fashion Plaza
!!!Episode 1
* [[https://youtu.be/VpdhZbSI2Kc?t=645 Jon challenges the AI to a game of Symmetrical Suits]] to win a piece of clothing from it. [[ArtificialStupidity The AI ends up taking so long just moving its cursor and always chooses the wrong pieces to match first]], causing it to only score one point and giving Jon the easy win. What really sells it is Jon's mimicking of the AI with his very slow speech.
-->'''Jon''': "I'm over heeeeeeere now. Nooooow I'm over heeeeere. [[VideoGame/DokaponKingdom We're having a saaaaale nooooow. Which one do you waaaant?]]"

!!!Episode 2
* Jon visits the "One Stop Shop", where you can choose any piece of clothing. While Jon looks his choices, [[AreYouPonderingWhatImPondering Emile mentions that he has an idea of what Jon should do]]. Jon says that he thinks he knows what Emile means, and goes for the Mario Hat... much to the latter's confusion. Emile then points out that he should have gotten the Ninja Pants instead, since he had the other 3 parts of the set. Jon spends the next few minutes kicking himself for his mistake.
-->'''Jon:''' "[[CurseCutShort MOTHER--]]"
* In a minigame where Jon has to tilt a platform with the other three on to tip them off, Emile points out that Jon keeps appearing as a laughing EvilGenius on screens in the background, which Tim compares to [[Film/TheMatrix The Architect]]. Jon ends up being more joyfully enthusiastic about this than the fact that he won the minigame.
-->'''Jon:''' "That RULES!"

!!!Episode 3
* [[YankTheDogsChain Last-place Jon has the full set of Ninja wear and is one space away from the evaluation stage only to have the Ninja Shoes stolen by Emile]], completing Emile's set.
* Right after Emile steals the Ninja Shoes from Jon, the former lands on a Lucky Spin space and ''gets to go immediately to the evaluation stage''. Jon's reaction? ''[[RageQuit Flip a table]] [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere and leave the room!]]''
-->'''Jon:''' ''[distant]'' "THAT'S SO STUPID!"

!!The Balldozer
* During the first minigame of this mode, No Goals Barred,[[labelnote:*]]where you kick all your colored soccer balls into any one of four goals before your opponents,[[/labelnote]] Jon gets all of his green soccer balls into the goals, but is left confused as to why the game didn't register him winning when Emile gets all his soccer balls in and it registers HIM winning... Until he notices one last green soccer ball hiding behind a post and blending in with the grass.
-->'''Jon:''' "[[YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe You have got to be kidding me!]]"
* Starting in Round 3, the bonus ring comes into play[[labelnote:*]], and if any ball drops through it, an avalance of balls will fall into the machine, thus giving the player a chance to earn more points[[/labelnote]]. When Jon tries to get the bonus ring, one ball [[HopeSpot drops onto the hoop of the ring]], and ''[[YanktheDogsChain rolls right off it.]]''

!!Lost and Found Square
* In the first round, Jon only manages to find Emile with thirty seconds left on the clock[[labelnote:To put this in perspective...]]In the next round, Tim was discovered leaving 80 seconds left on the clock, while in the third round, Jon's location was found with 90 seconds left on the clock.[[/labelnote]] while Tim cannot find Emile at all. Why? Emile, when relaying clues to his location, ''[[EpicFail manages to mistake a plane for a hammer]]''! Jon's reaction, in which he points out that the "hammer" had a propeller and wings, was precious. To rub salt in the wound, this mistake directly torpedoed any chance of Emile or Tim winning the minigame, with Emile himself ending up in dead last.
-->'''Emile:''' Jon, you and I work so well together.
-->'''Jon:''' No we don't! That's the problem!
** Emile also screws himself over out of points by referring to the green train he's nearby as yellow. While it does have distinct yellow metal, the body of the train itself is green, prompting Jon and Tim to look everywhere but where Emile is trying to find a non-existent yellow train.

!!Sketchy Situation
* The Guys trying to vocalize the wild, flailing animations that occur whenever a character draws in this minigame.
* Tim asks if he could retract the incorrect answer he clicked on in the second round, because he clicked on it ''by accident''. It turns out that he can't, which leads to him being the entire minigame's only loser. Everyone else got first place.

!!Do U Know Mii?
* Emile rating Jon as "not independent at all" during the first game (he does try to justify it, but this just makes it clear that Emile and Jon had wildly different interpretations of the question[[note]]Emile took it as "works better with a partner" and said it's because Jon is better about stuff now that he has [[LetsPlay/{{Lucahjin}} Reese]], while Jon defines it as "not able to function as a normal human being by yourself"[[/note]]), and Jon repeatedly ribbing him about it for the entire rest of the video.
-->'''Emile:''' "I haven't cried this hard since the [[CallBack Metropolitan Mutant of Ark!]]"
** Emile went ''all the way'' to the left on his vote, mind you, he did not think Jon had any sort of independence.
--->'''Emile:''' "Okay, independent as far as what?"\\
'''Jon:''' "...REALITY!"
** Jon eventually got his revenge during the second round. Emile's question: How sore a loser are you? The vote was almost unanimous, as Jon and Tim go all the way to the right to "Total Sore Loser".
** Emile trying to make up for it by complimenting Jon.
--->'''Emile:''' You are a ''very'' talented person.\\
'''Jon:''' "Ha! Now you're just gonna be playing "suck up" for the rest of the video."\\
'''Tim:''' "You must reclaim your honor."\\
'''Emile:''' "I was actually telling you earlier, like, just how, like, awesome your whole setup that you put together is..."\\
'''Jon:''' "Yeah! '''I did that by MYSELF, motherfucker!'''"
** If you listen closely, you can hear Tim's reasoning for his option of saying Jon has a lot of independence? Why, he watched LetsPlay/PBGHardcore, where he was featured. How is this funny? Well, if you've seen both seasons Jon was featured, you'd know that both times, he ended up ''dying'' due to his tendency to go off alone and be independent; between taking fall damage in a dark area where nobody else was with him in Terraria 2, and dying to a boulder trap nobody else was there to spot for him in Terraria 3. He wasn't just independent, it's what ''killed'' him both times!

!!Water Runners
* A moment of UnusuallyUninterestingSight when Emile notices two Miis in the background, one of whom is fellow LP'er Edobean:
-->'''Emile:''' "Edo is on a date with UsefulNotes/BarackObama."\\
'''Tim:''' "That's cool."

!!Feed Mii
* At the end of Jon's round as the cashier, Emile and Tim's miis eat their ice cream first. Jon points this out and Emile retorts he's a grown up and he waited 18 years of school and parenting to eat ice cream for breakfast.
* [[https://youtu.be/5iemPGNEPYw?t=882 On the last round when Emile is the cashier, he misses a few things on Jon's order.]] And in perhaps the most TRG sentence ever formed, Jon tells Emile "You forgot my small fries to go with my large fries." What sells it is Emile's reaction; he busts out laughing and wheezing from that line, and spends the next while in tears and barely able to speak from laughing so hard.
-->'''Emile:''' ''[still laughing]'' "The sad thing... If I worked in a retail shop, you would totally do that!"

!!Dance With Mii
* Jon's reaction to the game. All of it. Through the ''entire run'' of the minigame he is absolutely hating every single second of it, while Tim is just sorta trying to go along with it and Emile is again laughing into oblivion. And after it's finished, Emile jokingly asks Jon if he wants to try another song, and he ''immediately'' jumps into action [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere trying to exit the mode before they can pick the "change song" option with a very loud "NO!"]]

!!Animal Matchup
* Jon randomly delivers commentary in an Eastern European-accented monotone ("Where is dog. Where is peeg.") which keeps making Emile laugh.
* Jon also commentates on Tim and Emile doing badly at the 'assemble robots' minigame by scatting his words to a 'beep boop boop beep' robotic beat that goes with the minigame music.

!!Bridge Burners
* Being that this is a cooperative mode, you can already tell where this mode will go. You don't even need to [[TakeOurWordForIt take our word for it]]. The game even admits that it's not easy working as a team.
-->'''Emile:''' "Oh boy, do we know that?"
* For one of the minigames, Twisted Flight,[[labelnote:*]]where you wind up rubber bands of a helicopter using either A or B and twisting the Wii Remote as fast as possible, and depending on how much you wind up the rubber bands, you will either fly straight up, or veer off another distance,[[/labelnote]] Tim and Jon both get 50 yards, while Emile gets ''49'', just barely missing out on the target score of 150 yards.
* On their first attempt, they fail at the second minigame, Moonbase Escape[[labelnote:*]]Where you flick the Wiimote to open a set of doors,[[/labelnote]]. Their second attempt goes far smoother, and then...
-->'''Emile:''' "Last stage and we have two chances."\\
'''Jon:''' "Here's hoping. The final stage."\\
'''Emile:''' "Alright, what is the final boss of Wii Party U."\\
'''Jon:''' "[[TemptingFate It's gonna be the one we messed up.]]"\\
''[The last wall falls, revealing the game to be Moonbase Escape]''\\
'''Emile:''' "''OH!''" ''[Starts laughing]''\\
'''Jon:''' "Wow. I was joking. Really? I was joking."

!!Spot the Sneak
* Emile and Jon [[ItMakesSenseInContext talking about fonts]]. After Jon has suggested that Arial is used a lot because it is alphabetically near the start of a list of fonts:
-->'''Emile:''' "Well somebody needs to make a really good font and call it AAAAAAAAAAAA."\\
'''Jon:''' "Uh huh. My favorite font: UGH."

!!Minigame Free Play
* Emile starts going through the list of minigames that haven't played yet...[[EpicFail by starting on Twisted Flight, a minigame they've already played twice]]. He wrote it down as Twisted ''Fight'', so he thought it was a fighting type game they hadn't seen yet.
* Emile tries to play the games in the order of his list, resulting in him searching the games for the next one on his list, while Jon just wants to play one that looks like ''Pac-man'', while Emile ignores it. Turns out the one Jon wants to play actually is the next game on the list, which Jon wastes no time pointing out.
* Catch a Wave, the 1-vs-3 minigame where one player has to use their voice to control a sound wave "platform" and bump the other players into an electrical field. [[https://youtu.be/tWn6XrYy0zc?t=1349 Emile's attempt]] can best be described as a combination of loud screaming, hooting, grunting, singing, and other nonsensical babble.
-->'''Tim:''' Somebody please take that and set it to that scene from ''Film/LiarLiar''!

!!Freeplay Balloon Boppers
* The guys' excitement when the AI finally starts playing the game instead of just running around randomly.
-->'''Tim''': "He fought back!"

[[folder:Super Metroid]]
* The discussion about ''VideoGame/MetroidIIReturnOfSamus'' is HilariousInHindsight given this was obviously recorded well before the release of ''VideoGame/AnotherMetroid2Remake'' and ''VideoGame/MetroidSamusReturns''.
* Emile wishes that Ridley had Slowbeef's voice. So they do an impression of it, which ends up turning into an impression of Emile himself.
* Jon and Tim have an inverted ThisIsGonnaSuck moment when they realize just how much fun the project's going to be after witnessing Emile almost fail to escape Ceres Station in time.
* Episode 1 ends with possibly the weirdest outtro yet (for context, it's about a Map Station):
-->'''Emile:''' "I'm not supposed to stand on it, I'm supposed to have sex with it."\\
'''Jon:''' "With your ''arm''?"\\
''[Video Ends]''
* In Episode 2, they discuss how Samus cleans her suit. Tim suggests that she just goes through a car wash, which makes the other guys laugh.
* Emile reaches the point in the game where he got stuck all those years ago, which involved him [[FailedASpotCheck completely failing to notice a Morph Ball tunnel near the start of Crateria]] until he gave up. All this at the ripe young age of...17. [[HistoryRepeats And it still takes him a few passes at age 26]].
* Near the start of Episode 3, as Emile advances to another area in the game he'd previously never gotten to before, Jon states that his 17-year-old self must be glad to finally have closure now. Emile then replies that he thought Jon was originally going to say he "finally has clothes" and then admits when he was 17 he often did sit around his computer room naked, to which Jon [[TooMuchInformation sarcastically thanks Emile for telling him that.]]
* After defeating Spore Spawn in Episode 4, Emile has an... interesting thought.[[labelnote:*]]For context, you escape Spore Spawn's room by using the dead boss as a platform.[[/labelnote]]
-->'''Emile:''' "I wonder if there's ever been a murderer that, like, turned his victims into stepladders."
* After they get the speed booster, they discuss it like Samus got new shoes and Zebes is a brand of sneakers
-->'''Emile:''' My pair of Zeebs also let me run like this.\\
'''Jon:''' You got an upgraded pair of Zeebs.\\
'''Emile:''' I got the 2016 Zeebs.\\
'''Jon:''' Oh my god.\\
'''Emile:''' They got red Xes on them which makes you run faster.
* In Episode 8, Emile tries various stuff on one of the floor enemies Jon draws his attention to before realising that it's actually a fake to cover a hole in the floor. This includes shooting it, so when Emile drops down through it he finds he has already opened up the powerup below, and claims that he found a speedrunning tactic. The Guys then joke about how Emile has now become the source of speedrunning wisdom, [[{{Irony}} during which he struggles to leave the room using the Hi-Jump]].
* Emile's idea for an intro in episode 10:
-->'''Emile:''' ''[singing along to the fanfare]'' "[[MemeticMutation Y cant Metroid craaaaaawl?]]"\\
'''Jon:''' "Oh, good Lord..."
* At the start of episode 11, Jon and Tim have a heated discussion as to where Emile should go next, and he compared it to parents discussing their kid's academic future.
* Emile shares his thoughts on the Shinespark:
-->'''Emile:''' "That's gotta feel so cool, it's like... having a rocket shoved up your ass without the anal pain."\\
''[{{Beat}}]''\\
'''Jon:''' "...Okay."
* The entire "Lovesac!" conversation in episode 11. [[note]]The three moved a Lovesac-brand beanbag chair off to one side to get set up for recording, and Emile's cat Kirby used it as a stepladder so it could reach and start playing with Emile's [[Toys/{{Amiibo}} amiibos]].[[/note]]
* Emile mentions a cartoon called "The Brothers Flub," and how you should never, at all costs, watch the intro. Cue lots of people in the comments doing just that, and immediately regretting it....
* Emile discovering how to get into Maridia [[AchievementInIgnorance by accident]] is both this and awesome.
-->'''Jon:''' "Keep this room in mind for later."\\
'''Emile:''' "[[LeeroyJenkins Got it, flood the chamber!]]" ''[Drops Power Bomb]''
** When the chamber is flooded, Tim jokes about the water physics by speaking in slow motion.
--->'''Tim:''' "Itttttttsssss liiiiiiiiiiikkkkkke wheeeeen yooooooou plaaaaaaaaay the coooooooommmmeeeentarrrrryyy aaaaaaat twenty-five perceeent speeeeeeeeed."
* Episode 14: Emile pulls off yet another pretty impressive feat using the newly-acquired Grappling Beam to grapple onto a moving Ripper II while doing a running jump in order to reach a Missile Pack...then immediately afterward, [[AesopAmnesia forgets how to use the beam the easy way.]] As Jon mocks him for it...
-->'''Jon:''' "You pulled off this phenomenal flying-jump Grappling Hook, and the standing-still Grappling Hook is getting you."\\
'''Emile:''' "Says the man who can't make one-block jumps in [[VideoGame/SuperMarioWorld Mario]], but can beat [[VideoGame/KaizoMarioWorld Kaizo]]."\\
'''Tim:''' "[[OhCrap Whoa...]]"\\
''[{{Beat}}]''\\
'''Jon:''' "...is that a challenge? Do you want to go through Kaizo? Is that what you're saying?"\\
'''Emile:''' "You know, [[SelfDeprecation with how I'm doing in 2D games]], ''maybe'' [[BadassBoast I don't need save states!]]"
** Also from Episode 14, a discussion of cereal causes Emile to launch into a passionate rant about Kix. Jon points out that Emile sounds like he was hurt by the cereal as a child.
--->'''Jon:''' "Where did the cereal touch you as a child, Emile? Jesus!"\\
'''Emile:''' "It touched my insides! Literally!"\\
'''Jon:''' "Ewww..."
* In episode 16, a SeinfeldianConversation about world domination leads to Emile telling a story about how he used to think Mother Teresa had taken over the world.
* The utter struggle to get the reserve tank in [[https://youtu.be/htwiSa2otKY episode 18]].
** Emile deciding to bomb jump all the way to the top of the very tall shaft instead of shinesparking, despite the others protesting. [[SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome He actually gets to the top]], [[ShaggyDogStory but a speed block blocks the way]].
** After failing to get to the top, Emile somehow decides to ''leave the room'', [[FailedASpotCheck failing to notice or forgetting about the reserve tank on top of the shaft he bomb-jumped all the way up to]]. Jon is utterly baffled by the turn of events.
** Immediately after finally getting to the top he falls into a trap pit, getting back to the bottom of the shaft. ''Twice''.
--->'''Jon:''' "This is the hardest to earn reserve tank!"
* Episode 19 brings us "Brain Care", originally a continuation of their "President Mother Brain" jokes from earlier in the series, but which Emile and Tim find to be InherentlyFunnyWords and mindlessly repeat for a while, to Jon's dismay.
* During a conversation in Episode 19, Jon argues that there's a lot of things Emile would like more if he had more patience. When asked for an example, the first one he gives is ''VideoGame/PaperMarioStickerStar''. [[BerserkButton That wasn't a good idea.]] Emile goes on an [[UnstoppableRage uncharacteristically-angry rant]] about the game and says it's actually ''the'' game he dislikes the most out of any game he's played. Jon is pretty taken aback by this.
-->'''Jon:''' "That got him a little more than I thought it would. Wow."
* The story about the French restaurant in Episode 19. TL;DR: Emile and friends went to a French restaurant one time at PAX East, but forgot FrenchCuisineIsHaughty and showed up ''criminally'' underdressed. Emile surmises he was not the first customer to show up like that, owing to the restaurant being highly-rated ''and'' near where PAX East is held.
-->'''Jon:''' "[[DeadpanSnarker I'm sure they didn't mind]] [[MoneyDearBoy if you gave them money]]."
* Episode 20: [[ItMakesSenseInContext Buzzsaw Man Pants.]]
** Even better, the room [[RunningGag Buzzsaw Man Pants]] appears in requires the being to be alive in order to break the blocks to get past it. [[RuleOfThree Buzzsaw Man Pants]] is also immune to Power Bombs, which is also needed to break him free. [[FailedASpotCheck Guess how many tries Emile takes before he figures out the gimmick of that room?]][[labelnote:Answer]][[RuleOfThree Three.]][[/labelnote]]
** Finally, Emile's [[{{Corpsing}} extended reaction to Jon repeating]] [[OverlyLongGag Buzzsaw Man Pants]] (and all of the other dumb stuff Emile's said in the past), causing the others to wonder if he needs help.
--->'''Jon:''' "[[SanitySlippage My god, [Emile's] gone! He's completely gone!]]"
* Episode 21 opens on Emile wondering just what it was he found so funny the previous episode:
-->'''Emile:''' "[[WhatDidIDoLastNight What did I think was so funny last night?]]"\\
'''Jon:''' "[[LetUsNeverSpeakOfThisAgain Nothing. Don't worry about it.]]"
* In episode 23, Emile makes a reference to [[NoManOfWomanBorn Macduff's backstory]] in ''Theatre/{{Macbeth}}'' which goes totally over Jon's head. When Emile explains the reference, Jon admits he thought that Emile was referencing ''WesternAnimation/DuckTales1987'' at first.
-->'''Jon:''' "Like, what the fuck happened in Ducktales? Did I miss an episode?"\\
''[Later, to the tune of the Ducktales theme song]'' "Life is like a hurricane: c-sections, dead wives!"
* Episode 26: While Emile fights the Space Pirates guarding Ridley's lair, Tim sings along to the background music with "I Was Watching Television", which Emile finds amusing because the room they are in at the time is full of what look like TV sets hanging from the ceiling. This causes Emile to start {{Corpsing}}, in a similar vein to "Buzzsaw Man Pants".
** Emile says that by the end of the episode, Tim's ad-libbed lyrics will send them all into hysterics. Lo and behold, Jon eventually caves when Tim repeats the "I was watching television" line.
** Tim's singing eventually throws off Emile so badly that he [[NoSenseOfDirection immediately forgets which way to go]] upon receiving his last power bomb upgrade. Jon is dumbfounded.
* In Episode 27, just after achieving OneHundredPercentCompletion, Emile [[FailedASpotCheck fails a spot check]] one last time for good measure by forgetting which door leads to Tourian despite Jon pointing it out not two minutes ago.
* And, not to be outdone, after doing a nearly flawless run through Tourian, Emile dies on the escape sequence after making it to his ship with seconds to spare because instead of going into his ship, he accidentally goes into his Morph Ball. The screams of agony are delicious.
-->'''Emile:''' "I ''PRESSED DOWN!''"
** During the first escape sequence, Jon tells Emile that to [[WebVideo/GamesDoneQuick save the animals]], he has to go to the room where he first found the bombs... [[WhereItAllBegan The same room he got stuck trying to find all those years ago]].
** Earlier during Episode 28, [[LetsPlay/TomFawkes Tom]] [[FunnyBackgroundEvent can be heard shouting in the background]] while playing ''VideoGame/{{Overwatch}}''. He's so loud that Emile had to mention it in editing.

[[folder:Metroid Prime]]
!!!Running gags:
* Emile ''constantly'' forgets about the Scan Visor, leading to multiple exasperated reactions from the other two (especially Jon).
* Continuing from Super Metroid, Emile and Tim singing nonsensical lyrics involving television to the background music of Magmoor Caverns.

!!!Episode 1 - "Played for Three Seconds"
* Jon's reaction to how far Emile got in the game is downright ''legendary''.
-->'''Emile:''' ''(at the opening gate)'' Okay. So, ''this'' is as far as I got when I played this the first time.\\
'''Jon:''' [[YouHaveGotToBeKiddingMe Are you KIDDING me?!]]

!!!Episode 4 - "Have Ball"
* Once Emile gets the Morph Ball, he starts talking about how he thought Volleyball was pronounced "Balleyball", which somehow segues into how ''VideoGame/LiveALive'' is pronounced.
-->'''Jon:''' What would "Balleyball" entail?\\
'''Emile:''' Well like, it's just, you know, a fun little name, like "Balleyball", like y'know, it's a ball that's [[BuffySpeak bally]].\\
'''Tim:''' It's like ''VideoGame/LiveALive'', but it's balls.

!!!Episode 5 - "Mysteries of Life"
* The very first line, leading to a discussion where even Jon has to admit that Emile's logic is sound.
-->'''Emile:''' And the other thing is: Do you gain weight when you fart? Because your intestines have something that's lighter than air in them, and then they no longer do.[[labelnote:If You Actually Want an Answer]]No, it will not. Methane may be lighter than air, but it still has weight, so it leaving your body will make you lighter, not heavier. For farting to make you heavier, your body's volume would have to decrease by more than the volume of air that equals the weight of the expelled gas, which does not happen.[[/labelnote]]
* Emile reads out the first Chozo Lore in the episode in a manner that depicts all of the Chozo as hippies.

!!!Episode 7 - "Hot Jumprope"
* Jon humming along to the background music leads to Tim humming [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda the Song of Storms]], which then leads to Jon mentioning a [[VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaTearsOfTheKingdom Zelda game]] came out on the day of recording...which ''then'' leads Emile to almost quit the LP mid-recording to go play it.
-->'''Jon:''' Be an adult! Be an adult!

!!!Episode 8 - "Looking Right At It"
* Emile scans an enemy and then goes right back to playing without reading the scan. Then:
-->'''Jon:''' You didn't read it.\\
'''Emile:''' What'd it say?\\
'''Jon:''' You didn't read it.\\
'''Emile''' Yeah, what'd it say?\\
'''Jon:''' You didn't read it.\\
'''Emile:''' Yeah-\\
'''Jon:''' Like as in, you did the scan for the creature but you didn't read the creature's entry, as in you made no text appear, there was nothing that we could read, ''you didn't read it''.
* Emile's clip of [[VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles3 Taion]] shooting someone at [[NoRangeLikePointBlankRange point blank range]] comes up again after the previous video and Jon reluctantly allows him to show it.
-->'''Tim:''' Hey guys, we're back with more Metroid Prime!\\
'''Jon:''' Metroid Prime looks a little different than how I remember it. Does this have any spoiler shit in it?\\
'''Emile:''' Actually don't know if it does.[[labelnote:If you want to know]] It shows one character with an appearance different from her default appearance. [[/labelnote]]\\
'''Jon:''' For fuck's sake, Emile.

!!!Episode 9 - "Flaahgra"
* Three minutes into the titular boss fight, Emile's controller suddenly stops working, prompting Jon to explain what happened:
-->'''Jon:''' For reference's sake, what just happened was, the dock that Emile's playing on is nowhere near him; the cord's not long enough. So I plugged into the other dock nearby, which Tim's Switch has been sitting in. When the controller finally died of battery power, it finally realized it was plugged in and started pulling from that, which synced it to Tim's Switch which was just sitting in the dock. So now I need to actually take Emile's controller, sync it back to his OWN system, THEN come back and plug it into the dock which has nothing in it now, so it will not attempt to re-sync to Tim's. This is very stupid.
* Jon's reaction upon Emile [[FailedASpotCheck failing to realize that the boss does, indeed, have a health bar:]]
-->'''Jon:''' Also they have a healthbar.\\
'''Emile:''' Oh, I didn't...\\
'''Jon:''' ''God!''\\
'''Tim:''' Oooo baby!\\
'''Emile:''' I'm sorry it's not, like, flashing red, I'm not gonna look at it--\\
'''Jon:''' ''It's literally in front of where you're shooting!''\\
'''Emile:''' *laughs*\\
'''Jon:''' They can't place it any more obvious without putting it right where your gun is!\\
'''Emile:''' I'unno man I'm not looking at s--\\
'''Jon:''' ''Are you sure videogames are for you?!''
** Jon then notes that Emile told him a story about his ignorance: He managed to play ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaBreathOfTheWild'' up until the end of the game without cooking anything, because Emile thought you needed an item to cook food, and another to make potions, due to how previous games in the franchise required you to find the required item to use a feature, and never thought to just use a cooking pot.
!!!Episode 10 - "Magmoor Caverns"
* The utter joy in Emile's voice when he realizes that the music is a remix of [[VideoGame/SuperMetroid Lower Norfair's theme]]:
-->'''Emile:''' [[CallBack IT'S TELEVISION!]]

!!!Episode 14 - "Rare Earth Metals"
* Emile shares several anecdotes about a PointyHairedBoss of his from when he was working at a movie theater during high school:
** He was short, balding, and liked to yell at people that they were going to be fired, prompting Emile to privately call him [[WesternAnimation/TheJetsons Mr. Spacely]].
** Pulling Emile away from work one day to ask him what color a sign was. When Emile answered pink, he claimed that was wrong; the sign was actually every color BUT pink, because it was reflecting every color that it was absorbing so that it appears that way to your eye. And then immediately telling Emile to get back to work.
** During a midnight showing of Harry Potter, a bunch of people started showing up at 9, saying they were going to hang out typing on their laptop until midnight, prompting Emile to just say "Okay." When his boss saw this, he said "You mean to tell me you let them get by you with a computer?! You know they could be recording the movie, right?" He then proceeded to spend the next three hours standing over Emile's shoulder, telling people that he was going to look in their bags.
** When Emile was playing with his DS in the break room, his boss came in, saw him, and said "I can't believe you would do something so wasteful as play video games," claiming that the hobby wastes rare earth metals that could be used to advance mankind. He also told Emile that he should be spending his money at the only company that makes computers for their intended purpose: Creator/{{Apple}}.

!!!Episode 24 - "Thermal Visor"
* Emile, very well known for being hugely into [[VideoGame/StreetPassMiiPlaza StreetPass]], initially had to be introduced to it through Jon because [[{{Irony}} he "thought it looked lame"]].

!!!Episode 39 - "Wave Trooper"
* At the beginning of the episode Jon is trying to hint to Emile to visit a save room he hasn't discovered yet at the beginning of the Phazon Mines, with decreasing subtlety (and patience), as Emile keeps missing the very obvious Spider Ball track leading to the save room. After about two minutes of wandering around the same room (and trying to leave out of the entrance multiple times), Emile ''finally'' finds the door to the save room, which has a bit of flaming debris at the end of a very short hallway with the actual save station on the left. He then spends another 30 seconds trying to break through the debris (beyond which is very obviously nothing), before Jon, exasperated, states quietly that Emile should look at his map. With near-perfect comic timing, Emile opens the map and ''sloooowly'' rotates it to reveal the little nook where the save station is, then closes the map and equally ''sloooowly'' turns to the left to face the very obvious, glowing save station access panel. He and Tim burst into laughter as Jon sighs and muses:
-->'''Jon:''' Is this my ''penance'' for something?!? What did I do? What did I ''do'' to deserve this?!?"
