Akabana Captain is not amused at this.
** When it's obvious that Akabana would take them hostage, Elle instead [[TooKinkyToTorture gets excited]].
** The guy that Akabana Pirate Clan worships turns out to be Mikazuki, the wrestler-like pirate that got beaten up in a previous event. They're still as ridiculous, but now they modeled themselves after masked luchadors. Mikazuki holds them hostage so Begg can fix their planes after they got their stuffing punched out.
** Nico and Ciara got in the same jail cell. Nico is not motivated because there's no cute girl with her. Ciara points out that there's a cutie right there (read:her), Nico is not impressed and outright says to her face that she's not cute. They have a fistfight because of it.
** Turns out, Begg sabotages Mikazuki's Ryusei and the heroes beat them up in a short skirmish. Mikazuki fled in two Akatombo that are too small for their muscles; the two planes that Acco saw flying pass over Mount Ofukou. It turns out, Mikazuki saw the stranded people, but decided to leave them be to spite the rescue party.

* Euca, Erika and Akari get hired to escort a research project, meet up with their contractor Tamil. Tamil introduces them to the other escort pilots, who turn out to be Emma, Kylie, and Chika.
** Tamil absentmindedly yawns and scratches her butt, but immediately notices that now she has an audience and tries to play it off.
** Kylie still doesn't like to meet the Harukaze. Euca, however, would prefer if Leona is with them, causing Kylie to get angry nevertheless for being underappreciated.
* The research project turn out to be an archaeological digging in a site that was previously a sea. The Harukaze, who never see a large body of water, ask just what is a sea. When Tamil says that it's the place where people are swimming in swimsuits. They then ask what is a swimsuit, and the conversation derails into is there even a need for swimsuit to swim. Kylie claims that there's no need, but those who read the manga would know that it's mostly because she can't swim to begin with.
* The conversation derails even further when they instead go into a discussion about their body type, using planes as analogy.
** When talking Naomi, Chika compares her to the Shiden because they both "voluptuous", while Kylie is more slender like a Hayabusa. Kylie scoffs, claiming that she likes Hayabusa anyway. Euca nevertheless still laughs aloud at her for [[ACupAngst the implication]]. Kylie's face turns absolutely red from rage.
** When Madame Lulu and Julia walks to them, Kylie and Chika immediately compare the bombshell that is Madame Lulu with the Fugaku. Everyone when get crestfallen how just out of their league they are.

* Belle, Dahlia, and Gerbera are wandering around Idzulma looking for a place to eat. The restaurant turns out doubled as a gambling corner. Natsuo and two of her mechanics are seen gambling to buy gasoline for their travel home. How they got stranded so far away from Rahama is anyone's guess.
** Despite her exasperation about her father's gambling habits, [[LikeParentLikeChild Belle]] turns out salivating when looking at the proceeding dice roll. Belle approaches Natsuo about it, and Natsuo boasts that it's just the adult woman's instinct... only to get taken aback by Belle's voluptuous assets. She then cups her own chest in confusion, almost like she doesn't believe what she saw.
** [[MafiaPrincess Gerbera]], already seeing where this is going, deadpannedly discourages her from doing so. They got roped in anyway.
* Belle apparently hides the squadron's money in her hair.
* Fio and Rola walk in the restaurant looking for a debtor. Fio, being who she is, orders orange juice. She's seen later with half a dozen tankards of orange juice.
* After the initial failure, Belle turns out win it big. The man she's playing against accuses her of cheating, which by then gets approached by the Gekitetsu about his debt. When the Harukaze tries to flee with their money, the man tries to stop them and accidentally presses [[TinyTyrannicalGirl Fio]]'s BerserkButton. He almost get slugged by a girl half his size if not for Aco's entrance.
** Aco turns out looking after reports of dine-and-dash, only to find illegal gambling and mafia extortion. Fio, realizing that there's a police crackdown, simply tsked at this while Rola nonchalantly fires at Aco to create a distraction.
** It bears repeating that Aco, by her lonesome, thinks that she can arrest about a dozen people, some are armed with guns, with just a police baton.
** Aco can only catch the one guy that Fio strangled, [[TooKinkyToTorture who evidently likes being tied up and kicked on the back]].
* In the game event, later Gerbera and Fio get separated from their group and meet each other, along with Natsuo. They sort of get along. They spontaneously decide, mostly just for kicks, to catch a local pirate to collect their bounty.
** Meanwhile, Belle, Dahlia, and Rola meet each other. Belle and Rola has a catfight about whose friend (child) is the cutest. Dahlia exasperatedly plays the straight man when the two are too deep in their spats and not paying attention of their missing friends that had just walked pass them.
** When they chase after the pirates, Rola shows 'her' [[SirSwearsalot true face]] against the pirate that almost shot down Fio. Fio, despite they being friends since childhood, is taken aback by the shift.
** Aco, realizing that there's a dogfight in her airspace, once again interferes. Don't want a vigilante in the way, everyone immediately scatter. Gerbera laments all the omelette rice she can buy with the bounty money, while Aco complains that no one is staying to get arrested.

* The Harukaze is in Areshima, and decide to see the arowana exhibition. When Ririko says that the admission fee is 5 pound per person, Euca still slaps the money on the counter despite their money problem, looking somewhat smug. Meanwhile, Erika, Belle, and Akari lament that they basically wasted 30 pound just to see ''one'' arowana.
** Given that the arowana is in Areshima, it can be assumed that after the entire debacles with Isao and have to pay war reparation to other cities, [[LaserGuidedKarma the previously rich Ikesuka is so strapped for money that they have to sell Isao's fish to Areshima]].
* A couple inside the exhibit is seen making out in the background. The woman is later seen slapping the man afterward.
* Allen suddenly wheels in the exhibit by Kate, rattling off InfoDump about fishes in Ijitsu. Meanwhile, the Harukaze are confusedly whispering among themselves about who the hell is this guy.
** After hearing that the arowana is basically lonely in Ijitsu, Euca touches the aquarium in sympathy, only for Ririko to reprimand her for touching the exhibit. Euca then gives a child visitor a stink eye when he puts his grubby hands on the glass and doesn't get reprimanded like her.
** When Allen gets wheeled out and he whines to Kate, Akari says that perhaps she's Kate of the Kotobuki Squadron. Euca waves her off, claiming that there's no way Kate is this EmotionlessGirl.
* Roig and Regal of the Phantom Thieves Akatsuki make their entrance by ventriloquizing a ghost story to the arowana's mouth flaps.
** It is later revealed that those two are scouting their heist target and steal the fish to be released on a lake with other arowana, preventing Euca from wasting more money to see it again. [[{{Irony}} The Harukaze's financial safety was assured because a phantom thieves troupe]].
* In the game event corresponding to the episode, it is revealed that the Akatsuki are stealing the fish because Roig is attracted to the romance of freeing the fish to its friends in the wild. The other Akatsuki, especially Renji, complain that the job doesn't pay.
** Allen sneaks in the exhibit while his sister is asleep because he wants to see how the fish is sleeping. Ririko catches him and he calmly notes that the fish is gone. Allen then has Ririko fly an Akatombo to chase the thieves, unconcerned that Ririko basically asking for extra payment and having his sister's salary cut for it.
** Because only their Hien have enough space for the aquarium and Begg's Hien is full of her mechanic tools, Regal is tasked with the fish transport. She complains all the way because the fish gets upset and splashes water all over inside her (beautiful) Hien. When Nekobaba Pirates attack them to steal the fish for themselves, Regal gets her tail shot because she's sitting duck carrying the fish. She complains even harder, especially when Roig and Moa are more concerned with the fish's safety than her.
** Allen decides to help the Akatsuki free the fish because he's interested with Roig's 'romance'. Roig squees, finally finding someone who understand her view and take the two to their hideout in Inno. Ririko notes the taxidermied bear inside the hideout. Roig then calls the grey, glass-eyed, body and face twisted in agony, taxidermied bear cute, even giving it a cutesy pet name.

* Euca unintentionally reveals that her appearance in Episode 10, when she looked on the Kotobuki as they land after Rahama's defense against Isao's Fugaku fleet, is actually ''[[SkewedPriorities her ignoring evacuation order to watch the Kotobuki kick ass]]''. Given that the Kotobuki almost failed to fend off the last Fugaku, that means Euca almost died in the firebombing - and she doesn't really care. She proceeded to get punished with 2 weeks of cleaning duty in the orphanage.
* When Gerbera ask the other Harukaze their reasons for enlisting the squadron, Akari reveals that she simply joined because Euca bribed her with caramel. Erika scolds her for setting her tariff so low and for letting Euca to fool her that way, all while Euca makes a SillyMeGesture in the background.
** Dahlia's reason for enlisting was because the others caught her stalking them when they were in Gadoll. They initially thought her as a ghost in an alleyway.
* After exclaiming that the Harukaze has a perfect line-up, Euca notes that if only they get a job to show it off. At this, everyone remember that they're still starving.
* The short actually serves as a prologue for an event in the game that run simultaneously with the short's release, ''Harukaze Memoirs''. Wishing to get more works, Gerbera asks Euca to ask Leona, who Euca and Erika acquainted with for being orphans under her care, for endorsement. Akari and Dahlia are skeptical, accusing Euca of just claiming relation with her now that the Kotobuki are famous heroes. Euca laughs and starts telling the story where Leona directly inspire her to be a hero. Long story short, Euca ends up being the ButtMonkey of the story.

* The Harukaze Squadron split their pay between the six of them, only to realize that they each only got 20 pound and 15 cent (remember that Chika spent almost 500 pound on her Malo-chan). As they discuss the aftermath of the war against the Freedom Union, Erika tries to steal some of Euca's coins but she gets found out and the two wrestle on the table. Using this as a distraction, Akari also tries to steal the coins but Euca notices her too, protectively smacks her arms on the coins and growls at her squadmates like a dog. All while their conversation keeps on going like it's a normal occurrence.
* The Harukaze loudly shout their goal to be just like the Kotobuki, only for Kylie who is eating one table away from them to choke on her pancake from listening in.
** Euca, who recognizes her from the two plates of pancakes she's eating, tries to confirm her identity. Kylie turns to her, head shaking and mouth clacking like a wooden marionette, that she doesn't know who Euca's talking about. Euca then points out the pancakes and her fluffy aviator cap, which Kylie proceeds to slap off her table.

When Euca confusedly asks whether they're friends or not, they smash their knuckles together with a lot more malice than an ordinary fistbump should have, exclaiming that they're totally friends. When the camera goes to their behind, Chika is seen pinching Kylie's butt for a good measure.

* The Harukaze Squadron split their pay between the six of them, only to realize that they each only got 20 pound and 15 cent (remember that Chika spent almost 500 pound on her Malo-chan). As they discuss the aftermath of the war against the Freedom Union, Erika tries to steal some of Euca's coins but she gets found out and the two wrestle on the table. Using this as a distraction, Akari also tries to steal the coins but Euca notices her too, protectively smacks her arms on the coins and growls at her squadmates like a dog. All while their conversation keeps on going like it's a normal occurrence.
* The Harukaze loudly shout their goal to be just like the Kotobuki, only for Kylie who is eating one table away from them to choke on her pancake from listening in.
