* For the Roadblock, teams had to learn how to Yodel, and watching a bunch of Americans oscillate between underperforming and over-performing while mangling the words was as funny as it sounded. Even Phil knew [[ThisIsGonnaSuck it wasn't gonna go well for most teams]] as his introduction of the task saw him apologize for any ears hurt in listening.

* In the desert search task, most of the teams find the metal piece without too much fuss, but Lumumba unfortunately isn't as lucky, as his metal detector keeps finding random junk from an old soda can to a broken car engine. He still tries to bring it to the judge, who is clearly having a field day playing along with his attempts.

* Leg 1 sees one Detour option being to take a painful Thai massage for 30 minutes, which itself can give plenty of fun flashbacks to the infamous foot massage task from Season 14, but it gets funnier when teams are taking the massage at the same time, making each other uncomfortable with their moaning. And then there's Rob, who's deaf and thus immune to hearing their cries of pain, which lets him give plenty of funny [[AsideGlance side-eye to the camera]] seeing how ridiculous they look.

* Angie nearly passing out after an entire leg running under the hot Mexican sun shouldn't be funny, but then as she's recovering, Danny realizes [[LoopholeAbuse there ain't no rule about the person whose face they're painting needing to sit up]], so he continues the Roadblock as normal while his mom is trying to lay down and recover.
* Anthony & Bailey start Leg 2 with plenty of gusto and a declaration that [[TemptingFate they won't make any stupid mistakes]]. As they're talking to the ConfessionCam however, a nearby local who offered them direction gives them back their clue (an unspoken rule in the race is the need to keep every clue with them, seeing as how losing the most recent one can easily cost a team a race) as if to remind them of their promise, and they can't help but shake their heads at their stupidity.
