* The fact that the protagonists are seriously frightened (though partially due to a curse) by ''bad dreams'' in one chapter, to the point that they're afraid to have anything do with their hobbies for several hours. Contrast that with the Mane 6's reactions in the [=FiM=] episode ''[[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS5E13DoPrincessesDreamOfMagicSheep Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?]]'', where they were scared for only a few seconds when they woke up. Curse or no curse, it makes them look ''incredibly'' incompetent.

* The thought of these [[InformedAbility strong and superior Space Ponies]] getting outmatched by untrained Diamond Dogs is nothing short of beautiful {{irony}}. The InUniverse explanation is that "[[VoodooShark they had strong armor]]".

* There are sure to be some [[DeadpanSnarker snarky moments]] on this fic's very trope page.

* Though it was revealed to be a {{troll}}, the idea of an African preacher plagiarizing Mykan's work. The {{irony}} is ''delicious''.

* Some of Mykan's RougeAnglesOfSatin moments are pretty hilarious, but one in particular stands out. Early on in the original fic, resident GenericDoomsdayVillain Lord Titan has the "heroes" right where he wants them, and gets thwarted by the timely arrival of [[EthnicScrappy Dyno and Mite]]. When Lightning gets free, he shoots Titan a look of [[UsefulNotes/FurryFandom furry]].[[note]]It's supposed to be a look of ''fury'', but then again the MST wouldn't have anything to make fun of if it were correctly spelled. Or written. Or overall competent, for that matter.[[/note]]
* There's just something inherently amusing about how the author found ''Friendship is Magic'' [[GirlShowGhetto too girly and childish]] and set out to write something with more appeal to a male audience, and [[EpicFail wound up with something even more stereotypically girly and childish]] than the source material.
** [[HilariousInHindsight Even better]]: the source material itself gets a lot more sophisticated than this fic ever was at points, especially concerning [[Recap/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagicS4E26TwilightsKingdomPart2 a certain fight scene]].
