* In episode 8 of season 3, which adapts the Telepathy Club's first contact with aliens, Mameta is mistakenly left behind on the UFO and gets whisked along to the aliens' homeworld. The ending of this episode adapts the bonus chapter that details his brief adventure there, as he is welcomed into alien society and unwittingly becomes a hero by defeating their natural predator. While he adapts to life with the aliens, he ends up clumsily asking to return to Earth... because his gaming device ran out of battery.

Chekov's Gun

* When Claw corners Reigen while he's trying to escape with an incapacitated Mob, Reigen talks them into lowering their guard before spraying them with a "cologne that's cursed to cause extreme drowsiness," which he confiscated off Yuusuke from the fight with Scar back then. Shibata comes in, and Reigen is initially intimidated by his massive physique... but he also collapses to a face full of cologne.

* Mob and Reigen having to enter a girls high school in drag to meet with a client. Reigen gets found out by security almost instantly but commits to the scheme by acting like a teenage girl. Mob's also upset that he himself wasn't found out.

* When Mob gets challenged to a milk-drinking competition by Dimple, Mezato is internally asking why the hell Mob agreed to go along with the competition. To which the narrator plainly states "Mob loves milk" complete with an image of a smiling Mob standing beside a pastel cow.

* Reigen casually walks into Scar's base looking for Mob, but his choice of words and general attitude gets him mistaken for a Claw superior. This earns him the deference of the Scar grunts, but he doesn't bother clearing up the misunderstanding as he orders the Scar grunts around. When Mob addresses Reigen as "Master", even Teruki mistakes Reigen to be a super strong psychic.
* When Yuusuke rants about his FreudianExcuse, Reigen gives him a dead-serious look (complete with ArtShift) as he drops a NotSoDifferentRemark... but when Reigen details his own life story, Yuusuke is unamused.
-->Reigen: Back when I was in grade school, I forgot to tell my parents that it was Sports Day at school, so I was the one with nothing to eat.\\
Yuusuke: Sure, that's sad, but you did it to yourself.
* A Bonus story in Chapter 24 features Reigen trying to clear up a cursed image of a face that appears on a client's wall. His efforts include standard cleaner (doesn't work), painting over it (the face just shows through in a complementary color), turning the wall into a Modern Art painting (the face just shows through in black), and eventually gets rid of it by removing that chunk of the wall and turning it backwards. The next day, a client one room over from the first reports a face-shaped stain on their wall. Reigen just sends Mob to take care of it.
* An omake at the end of Chapter 90 shows Claw leader Touichirou Suzuki giving a speech in preparation for Claw getting ready to start their World Domination Plot. He postpones it due to a subordinate telling him that the Webcomic/OnePunchMan Anime just started airing.

* Mob's 100% Full-of-himself. He doesn't get any more powerful. He just gets a butt chin. The anime takes the joke a step further by rendering Mob's head as though he were a Manga/FistOfTheNorthStar character, complete with a deeper and more manly voice.
** That voice in the anime (in the original Japanese) resembles that of a boy trying desperately to sound much older and cooler than he actually is. Dimple lampshades the ensuing cringe.

* In a tense moment, Mob is just about to give in to the corruption of an incredibly powerful evil spirit. He's got another student pinned up against the wall in a chokehold, when Dimple comes to the rescue... by appearing out of the guys nose with a casual "Hey."
