* Mostly anything with Quina in their debut chapter.

* Celes’s recruitment begins with her nearly attacking Setzer, mistaking him for a manikin. Once the confusion is cleared up, the party members recall their first encounters with manikins and reacting much the same way. Except for Bartz, who proudly states he wasn’t fooled because, “he’d never seen the real Galuf sparkle like that.”
-->'''Galuf:''' Good grief. You choose the oddest things to be astute about...
* In Quistis' event, Quistis is poking fun at Squall as usual, completing his sentences for him before he gets a chance to say them to make a point that she [[IneffectualLoner knows him so well]]. Y'shtola then proceeds to do the same thing to him, and she and Quistis quickly strike up a friendship as a result as Squall walks off, annoyed.
* Ramza is shocked to learn that Edge and Edgar are royalty, expressing that it is unthinkable for them to travel among commoners like the rest of them - and furthermore flirting with Vanille. Edge and Edgar both tell him that their titles are meaningless, which Ramza has difficulty shaking off.
-->'''Balthier''': We have here a skirt-chasing king and a profligate prince. ...[[DeadpanSnarker They're whom you would hold in esteem?]]\\
'''Vanille''': Yeah, you won't see me paying them any mind.
* The extreme degree of SoundtrackDissonance during the battles for Layle's recruitment. The fights take place inside a creepy mansion with thunder and lightning outside. The music chosen is Catch and Throw which sounds like it would play during a hoedown.
* When Irvine says that his and Squall's world has both a spaceship and a space station, Cid pelts them with questions and announces that he's going to go ''there'' after they finish closing the Torsions.
-->'''Cid:''' When we're done here, I'm going back to these guys' world! Don't try to stop me!\\
'''Cloud:''' No one's stopping you...
** In the same event, while probably not intended to be funny, Vincent of all people recognizes Cid from his ''butt'' while he's bent over scavenging for materials.
-->'''Vincent''': Now there's a backside I recognize.
* OncePerEpisode, Mog and the party need to explain the Torsions and being in a different world to the newest playable character. By Zack's event, Mog has this to say:
-->'''Mog:''' You see, this world is yada yada kupo kupo...
* Selphie's attempts to get "Booyaka" to catch on in her world finally pay off in this one, much to Lightning and Serah's confusion. The sisters converse and reflect on all the people they've seen saying it the past few days, wondering where the hell it came from and what it means. However, when Selphie explains it to them, Serah starts to grow fond of it, while Lightning [[EtTuBrute starts to get exasperated to her own sister falling into the newfound habit]].
--> '''Lightning:''' Serah, not you too!
* The fact that Lightning is treating "booyaka" [[TheComicallySerious with such gravity]], as though it's some kind of security hazard. And when she finally corrals Selphie to ask what it actually means, she gets a complete NonAnswer.

* A scene in Exdeath's recruitment event has him taking the form of a thorn on Vivi's back to eavesdrop on the party. When he hears them discussing him and his StrawNihilist tendencies, he chooses to reveal himself and ''educate'' the party about the Void and how none of their lives have meaning. It's the closest Exdeath has ever come to a civil conversation with the heroes and it's more or less about philosophy, hilarious in its absurdity, and he leaves without even a fight. Exdeath could even come across as ''{{Adorkable}}'' from this scene.
* Eight tricks Kefka into bringing him to his friends by feigning weakness. Needless to say, Kefka was not happy to see he was tricked.
** During an additional Lost Chapter cutscene, he, Cater, Kimahri, Lann and Reynn discuss the fact that they're the physically smallest members of their respective groups (Class Zero, Ronso in general and the entire group as a whole) but they do their best to make up for it by training hard. Lann opts to start a new group called Mighty Minis, which Kimahri states he wants to join too.
* Porom's Lost Chapter has the additional cutscenes. When Laguna tries to lead the party again, the group take a vote on Angelo to lead. Porom mentions she can smell monsters, which Rinoa initially agrees... until it dawns on her.
-->'''Rinoa:''' And when there's monsters, there's a Torsion! ...Hold on, did you say you smell monsters?
** And since Porom's joining, the young siblings relate to each other respectively. The younger brothers (Palom, Yuri and Lann) try to tell their elder sisters (Porom, Chelinka and Reynn) that they had enough, but was quickly shut down before they could even start.
* Cinque in her Lost Chapter cutscenes. Ranging from giving nicknames to everyone(Mog still got classic 'Moglin'; Leon ultimately got 'Lee'), to her teaming up with Selphie and Aerith to detach Barret's arm and plant flowers on Sazh's afro.
* Jack after he joins the party. When the others praise him for taking out enemies before they did, Jack takes it that he's being 'cool', and then keeps quiet for some time, believing that 'cool' people are the quiet people.
* The third cutscene of Swordmaiden. Arciela warns Zack that his route leads to monsters. After a consolidating talk to her, Zack rushes in there anyway, apparently having forgotten her warning, much to the chagrin of the others.
* After Fang joins the party in her Lost Chapter, she tells Hope she didn't trust 'strangers' when searching for Vanille... and immediately turns to look at Jecht (the first real person who's not a manikin she met) with him being rather annoyed, after Auron agrees he's 'suspicious-looking' for his rough appearance.

He comes back to meet Reno rather worn, and Tifa came along and spoke about her situation of an 'unknown' being.
