No meta moment.

** Crossing into meta, Lucifer's appearance caught everyone by surprise, because [[LyingCreator Tom Ellis previously denied that his show is going to participate in the crossover]].
*** For further meta humor, a common reaction was "of course the Devil lied" when fans of the show know that Lucifer ''never'' lies.

** Also funny on a {{Meta}} level, as Osric Chau has extensive martial arts training in RealLife.

* Marv Wolfman's cameo as a fan of the Flash and Supergirl is a meta-BlackComedy for those who are well-versed in DC comics history. Marv was one of the writers of the original ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'' comic, which killed off ''Barry Allen and Kara Zor-El''.

Technically most of the Snyder Cut was filmed alongside the theatrical version

** DCEU Barry assumes Earth-1 Barry is just cosplaying as him and offers to do a selfie, to which Earth-1 Barry says that he's also the Flash. ** This is later compounded by Barry showing up to punch her away, explaining she's "one of [his]"... before both Barry and Supergirl wonder why each other is on "their" Earth.

* Turns out the giant Beebo was conjured up by a hammy magic villain calling himself "Sargon the Sorcerer" ([[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sargon_the_Sorcerer who is in fact an actual DC character]]), who used Beebo as a distraction while he robbed a bank so he could go buy a time share in Bogota. Barry and Sara promptly stop him, the former admonishing him: "Come on, man. Beebo? [[IsNothingSacred Is nothing sacred]]" and the latter informing him that "Beebo is off limits" before knocking him out. The giant Beebo promptly dissolves into a puddle of blue goop, and given Kara's reaction, the goop apparently smells awful.

* After the badass moment where Barry reveals the conference table and the assembled heroes sit down, we hear something breaking and what sounds like a monkey chattering around in the ceiling. Sara comments, "Sounds like we need to call pest control." Barry asks, "What was that?" We then see an empty animal cage, the door swinging open. The name of the animal? ''[[WesternAnimation/SuperFriends Gleek]]''. As if to drive the point home, a rendition of the ''Super Friends'' theme plays in the background.

All that's missing is Creator/TedKnight delivering his classic line "Meanwhile...!".
