* In "Misfortune Cookie", it seems like a triumph that karma has mysteriously killed Harry Folger, keeping him from bringing the health inspectors to shut down Mr. Lee's Chinese Cuisine. [[FridgeHorror But Mr. Lee has a problem]]: now that Harry's dead, who's going to take back his bad review claiming it's a lousy restaurant? His reviews ''are'' pretty influential, enough to make a bunch of people cancel their reservations in one fell swoop. But then one remembers: April Hamilton! She also works at the same place as Harry and, hopefully, she came there with the intention of starting a food critic career as well. And bear in mind, Harry took her to Mr. Lee's Chinese Cuisine, and she ''enjoyed'' the food there. And she saw Harry's [[{{Jerkass}} true nature]] when he snapped at the staff. With any luck, April will write a review to cancel out Harry's review, saving Mr. Lee's restaurant and giving both him and Harry their respective [[KarmicJackpot just]] [[LaserGuidedKarma desserts]].

* Perhaps in "Opening Day", it was a good thing that [[spoiler: Joe dies in Karl's skin, rather than live on as Sally's second husband. Had he gotten away with it, there would've been [[RealityEnsues consequences]] to killing Karl. As demonstrated in the episode, Joe would've grown paranoid and distrustful that Sally would find a new lover and eventually try to kill ''him'' when she gets bored with her husband-of-the-week.]]

* In "A Little Peace and Quiet", the protagonist's choice is portrayed as, in essence, living forever in the frozen world, or instant death. But we already know she can move people and operate a car even when time is frozen; unless the entire planet is being destroyed, couldn't she [[TakeAThirdOption put her family in the car and drive them all to safety]] before unfreezing time? It would still be a lot to bear, but at least she and her loved ones would survive.

* In "Acts of Terror", it seems painfully stereotypical to make the Doberman Pinscher a vicious attack dog. In reality, Doberman pinschers are actually gentle dogs who are kind and intelligent. However, that's before it's revealed that [[spoiler: the Doberman is a powerful projection of Louis' unchecked anger borne from her husband's abuse. Even the nicest dog breeds turn vicious when brought up on abuse, so it's fitting that the Doberman reflects Louis: a [[NiceGuy gentle creature]] made [[TookALevelInBadass angry and fearsome]] by abuse.]]

* "Teacher's Aide" becomes brilliant when you recognize the gargoyle statue [[spoiler: being struck by lightning was KarmicDeath.]]]] It has been said that gargoyles were carved in order to protect the buildings they were built upon. Seeing the school fraught with delinquents prompted it to possess the school teacher so it could somehow protect the building. [[spoiler: By attacking Wizard, to the point that the teacher actively fought its influence proved that the gargoyle had become unworthy of its post, because it was essentially attacking an innocent. And so, by divine punishment, it was relieved of duty.]]
** Also, the teacher/gargoyle's comments (calling the student "insect" and asking "What's on your tiny mind") becomes fitting when you bear in mind the gargoyle has been watching from above, where the students seem smaller.

* In "Wordplay", there's a nice touch of BookEnds. The story begins with Bill Lowry memorizing complicated words recommended by the company he works for.
