This hints Estarossa's true nature as consequence.

* The Demon Lord and the Supreme Deity, despite being moral enemies, have teamed up on two occasions: first to seal away their creator Chaos and then curse their children for falling in love with each other. ''Cursed by Light'' reveals that the second team up was because the Holy War is a means for them to carry out their purpose of fighting each other through their creations and that Melodias and Elzabeth's love threatened their parents' ideal "balance". It could make sense that their fear of the Goddess and Demon races abandoning them for Chaos drove them to seal their parent, having no intention of fighting each other directly.

* With the Demon King dead by the events of the ''Cursed by Light'', the Supreme Being's intent to start a new Holy War after killing the Seven Deadly Sins and their allies could have her and Goddess Race declare war on humans due to their affinity with her creator Chaos. It makes sense as the Demon Race has been gravely weakened from the previous Holy War. Plus, Chaos's RealityWarper powers make it a bigger threat to Supreme Being since she and Demon King sealed it away out of fear, especially as it resides in the body of a youth who gradually becomes a FantasticRacist.

* Helbram says he assumed the form of the human manipulated him and killed his friend to remind himself why he hates humans. But, if you think about it, it's also the worst self punishment. Imagine how he must feel looking at the face of his friends' torturer and murderer whenever seeing his reflection in a mirror.

Compared to the respect he had with Elizabeth during the Holy War and her first reincarnation, he even bother with etiquette. It could also be assumed that the LovableSexManiac persona he uses around Elizabeth could be his way of forcing her current incarnation to avoid him in disgust. Since the curse requires him to be present to see her die three days after she regains her memories, every moment she spends away from him is a moment she is guaranteed to live.
