* Going by some Fridge Brilliance from this show's Disney counterpart ''WesternAnimation/AmericanDragonJakeLong'' about TheChosenOne and their biological families, namely that Jake Long was chosen as the American Dragon because he was the most mature of his relations (relatively speaking, anyway) and had the right attitude for being what is basically a magical cop, look at what we see of June and Jasmine's relatives in "Party Monsters;" Jasmine's sisters are snippy and unsupportive with Jasmine's reactions to them implying they've always been like this and June's cousins are both shallow people obsessed their car and modeling career, respectively. It would seem to contradict the idea of the Te Xuan Ze post being a semi-permanent and singular position, but even the most dedicated Te Xuan Ze won't be available all the time due to various things like illness, injury or, for a clearer example, Jasmine giving birth to Michael. June herself has her team of her brothers and Lila in addition to Monroe [[spoiler: which pays off big time in the SeriesFinale when June isn't available due to being transformed into a monster]], so she could be seen as bucking the InUniverse trend of the lone Te Xuan Ze against the world much like her inspiration Buffy Summers did in her own show.
