* After interrogating the old poacher, the Iron-Masked Marauder demonstrates the power of his newly-caught Dark Tyranitar by using it to burn down the camp where he lives. Considering how violent and ruthless the Marauder is (corrupting Pokémon into brainwashed slaves, burning down an entire forest, etc.), it's not a huge stretch to imagine that he may have killed the poacher afterwards, possibly to prevent anyone from discovering how he found Celebi's location, or simply ForTheEvulz.

** The Dark Balls do what [[VideoGame/PokemonColosseum Cipher does to Shadow Pokémon]] -- turn them into mindless machines of battle.
