** That and the fact that they're the only kids whose asses he could arguably get away with kicking on a regular basis, due partially to the above. Given that he likely suffers some form of [[AmbiguousDisorder PTSD]], having them to beat up on is the closest thing to therapy--well therapy that would actually do him some good--that he has. Take that away, and he'd probably snap harder than Rambo.

* At the end of "Liar, Liar," Beavis is believed to be a notorious murderer from 1969 called the Hippie Ripper and is arrested. When the episode first aired, it was assumed the police were just that stupid for seriously thinking a teenager could actually have committed a crime that happened more than two decades ago. However, with ''WesternAnimation/BeavisAndButtHeadDoTheUniverse'' and the subsequent 2022 revival confirming that time ''and'' interdimensional travel can happen in this universe, it may indeed be possible that Beavis or at least a version of him from another dimension really did commit the infamous In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida Slayings.

* Maybe it's a good thing Beavis and Butt-Head never learned the true purpose of the NX-5 unit. Considering their love of explosives, they'd probably try to detonate it.

* Really, the show's entire premise becomes downright horrific when you completely strip away its comedic elements. The show is about two young teenage boys who are victims of extreme poverty, illiteracy, and a gross amount of parental abuse and neglect. One of the boys is incredibly abusive to the other, who happens to be afflicted with some kind of untreated mental illness, possibly schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. The boys are almost completely rejected by society, and almost nobody cares about them or likes them. In both Christmas shows, it's shown that the world would actually be a better place if they never existed. Neither of the boys know their fathers, Butt-Head's mother is almost never mentioned, and Beavis's mom is repeatedly referred to as extremely promiscuous and neglectful to Beavis. The only thing preventing this show from being extremely depressing is the fact that A) it's a comedy, and B) almost nothing seems to actually bother the main characters, as they're always seen laughing.

* How did Tom Anderson become a decorated veteran if his war stories showed that he spent majority of his time just fixing things? Because as shown from "Korean Farmhouse", he was the SoleSurvivor of his platoon. There'd be nobody around to report his inefficiency!

** Even more disturbing is what the crazy homeless man says to Beavis and Butt-Head. "Women, they fine when they don't know what's happenin'." The homeless man has raped women before. Then you add in what all his STDs did to Beavis and Butt-Head and...yeah, never sleeping again.

* The episode "The Special One" has Beavis be commanded by Fire, a [[EvilLivingFlame living dumpster fire]] that orders him to do good deeds and healthy activities such as recycling and exercise. If one interprets this as a manifestation of Beavis' subconscious trying to make him a better person it makes perfect sense in the surface given Beavis is a {{Pyromaniac}}. But it goes further than that; Fire is symbolic of drive and potential (hence the term "fire in your belly”). Hence the fire acting as Beavis' conscience under the guise of an evil master. It was a form of self {{Gaslighting}} to trick himself into self-improvement.

* In "Prank Call", Harry Sachz threatens to gut Stewart's dad if he ever calls him again (not knowing it was actually Beavis and Butt-Head who prank called him repeatedly). At the end of the episode, the boys prank call Harry one last time. Did he follow through with his threat?

* In "No Laughing", when the Spanish teacher scolds Beavis and Butthead for not learning the material, he mentions that "the only Spanish [they] know is what [they] learned at Taco Bell". This remark stings a ''lot'' more when one realizes Taco Bell's (lack of) connection to Mexican cuisine, and [[AmericansHateTingle how the fast food chain is perceived]] in Mexico, [[DramaticIrony not that the duo would know]].

** I think two scenes in TheMovie establish that Butt-Head is slightly more intelligent, but Beavis has a shade more common sense. When they try to read their own names, Butt-Head is the one who gets it right, although misses the connection to themselves. When they decide to get out of Buddy Grimes's car in the middle of the highway, it's Beavis who makes the observation that "that road is moving pretty fast", while Butt-Head just calls him a wuss.

* The likely reason Buzzcut was noticeably absent from those who prayed to God for Beavis and Butt-Head's death in the Christmas special? He's established before that, in his mind, [[TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou only he gets to kick their asses]]. He wouldn't delegate the work to someone else, even The Lord.
