* It might be a bit hard to see at first, but the symbols for the attributes are derived from the kanji representing their elements: Pyrus is 火 (hi, fire), Aquos is 水 (mizu, water), Ventus is 風 (kaze, wind), Subterra is 土 (tsuchi, earth), Haos is 光 (hikari, light) while also resembling a star, and Darkus is 闇 (yami, darkness).

* Sellon has a NonStandardCharacterDesign for a Neathian, possessing black hair and eyes, with pale white skin. At first, you'd assume this is a case of EvilMakesYouUgly or BeautyEqualsGoodness, but considering her creator Mag Mel [[spoiler:was actually Barodius, sworn enemy of the Neathians]], he likely designed her to be as monstrous as he perceived them.

** Finally, we have Zenoheld. A large and imposing man, who despite his stature, has never once thrown down his own Bakugan or Gate Card and relies entirely on his specialized Gauntlet to do it for him. As such, Farbros, while a very powerful Bakugan in its own right, has never won a battle fairly, as has always relied on the Assail System to power itself up to win. Both are big and intimidating, but ultimately are not good enough to stand on their own and require additional or external sources or technology in order to propertly operate for a battle.

** Hydron and Dryoid are an interesting case. [[https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/bakugan/images/4/4a/Hydr.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20190503184746 Hydron's outfit in the second half of New Vestroia is far more plain and average compared to the rest of the Vexos and he seems unassuming as an overall threat]]. Despite this, he has shown to be a very competent brawler and won most of his battles, and is the only person who ever actually won a round against Zenoheld. [[https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/bakugan/images/9/90/Dryoid_Bakugan_form.png/revision/latest?cb=20171102090349 As such, Dryoid has the plainest design of all the Mechanical Bakugan, looking like nothing more than a basic robot with no definable or outstanding features]]. With that said, it is the second strongest Mechanical Bakugan behind Farbros and is one of the only ones that was able to hold its own against Assail Farbros, and is also the only Bakugan to have ever executed a [[UpToEleven Triple Fusion Ability]].

** This also applies when the rules make even ''less'' sense. Even with the much-contested change in the battle formula between ''Battle Brawlers'' and ''New Vestroia'', this deviation makes sense. Like with the people of Earth, the Vestals weren't given a rulebook and thus invented the rules based on what they could understand. In the Vestals' case, their version of Bakugan placed more emphasis on raw power than strategy like the humans (hence the rules of using only one Gate Card on the field, using only one Bakugan, using Ability Cards repeatedly, etc.). One likely reason why this is the case lies in their political structure; while Earth has multiple governments across the world (many of which are democracies and encourage freedom of thought), Vestal is consolidated under the singular rule of King Zenoheld. Considering how obsessed with power the man is, it's only logical that such a mindset, albeit extremely toned down, would ingrain itself into the core mechanics of the game virtually no opposition from anyone else.

*** For MAC Spider, it also makes sense, as Shadow has shown to make a habit out of scaring and frigheting people, so he would love a Bakugan based on one of people's most common fears, spiders. And just like Hades, while MAC Spider was strong, it was still lackluster relative to most other Bakugan and was beaten almost everytime it fought.

** Volt is the biggest and most physically imposing of the Vexos, and as such Boriates is shown to be significantly larger in size to the other Mechanical Bakugan, even to Farbros, which belongs to Zenoheld. In addition, as Volt has been shown to be very honorable and fair on numerous occassions, Boriates has a samurai design going for it, [[https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/bakugan/images/9/94/Boriates.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20091223214348 with the two horns on its head and the angry face design being evocative of a battle mask]], [[https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/bakugan/images/0/0f/Boriates_-_Bakugan_Form.png/revision/latest?cb=20171201171729 as well as the overall heavier armored look]].

** Altiar and it's successor Aluze are the smallest and seemingly lightest of the Mechanical Bakugan and by far the weakest. As such, Lync is the smallest, youngest and weakest of the Vexos. He has never won a single battle by himself without any outside help prior to acquiring them, and has never won any battles after acquiring them.
** Hades and MAC Spider are an interesting case. For Hades, it makes sense as Shadow often thinks highly of himself and believes that he's stronger than he really is, despite being the weakest after Lync so he would probably want to use a Bakugan based directly off of Hydranoid, one of the most powerful known Bakugan from the past. While Hades was indeed formidable, it was still a very flawed prototype and paled in comparision to the original, leading to its destruction by Hydranoid in the end.

** Mylene has been shown to have a cold and calculating personality, is very focused and never loses her composure until a battle is won. Macubass has [[DroneDeployer built in]] [[AttackDrone attack drones]] that scan and survery the opponents weak spots and takes advantage of any opening it can find. In addition, as Mylene has a very sharp, narrow design, so does Macubass, having razor sharp edges all around, it's main body resembling her outfit and even "heels" in its feet.

* Most viewers point out on how the rules of Bakugan don't make sense (and they would be right). Then again, this IS a game made by a bunch of kids, and they weren't given a handbook on how to play.

* It might seem odd that Drago would only want to bring Dan with him to New Vestroia, and his reasoning for not getting the other Brawlers involved seems to fall flat given that they risked their lives to save Vestroia, not to mention the way he did it causes a tsunami of problems later on in the season. However, the Resistance is revealed to be low on manpower, and it later turns out they are low on Bakugan, so taking only Dan could have been a way to ease potential manpower problems, though he could have just told the Brawlers "I appreciate your help, but the good guys there are low on manpower, and Dan is the only person I can take without stretching their supplies." instead of doing it in an underhanded manner.

* The original season of ''BakuganBattleBrawlers'' might be a bit of a biblical allegory. While raging about how religious nutcases say that anything fun is "Teh Debil", I realized that there is actually a surprisingly literal allegorical Satan(Naga, appropriately named after the serpent) down to trying to steal the powers of heaven, failing, and being hurled into a torturous realm from which he acts, and Mephistopheles (Masquerade) Who tempts people who play the game into using it for evil in ''very'' devilish ways (Note: These are the BAD GUYS). While some demonize it, a subtext of the show is ironically ''resisting satan''. - Kohdok

* Drago's power has been constantly increasing the entire series. The first thing the newest season has happen? His increasing power result in the season's entire storyarch. Its threatening to set Mag Mel, the BigBad whose presently SealedEvilInACan, free from his prison, causing Dan and the other Brawlers heck by creating a NighInvulnerable monster whose running around beating everyone to a pulp without even trying, and ruining Dan and Drago's reputation completely because Drago can't control it. Makes sense when you realize that fans had been complaining a great deal about Drago's ever increasing power. What better way to appease fans by deconstructing the thing they're complaining about?
