* TheDreaded: Grimdo... sorry, we mean ''Malicious Demonic Monster Grimdo''. The alien punks in the city panics upon hearing that name.
* EleventhHourSuperpower: [[spoiler: The formation of Ultraman Reiga, through the eleven New Generation Heroes fusing their powers together, is what allows them to finally destroy the otherwise unstoppable Grimdo]].
* EyeScream: [[spoiler: The final demise of Grimdo, after a lengthy battle against Ultraman Reiga, where the demon's main eye gets pierced by Reiga's energy blast, finally destroying the monster for good]].
* FacelessEye: Grimdo's default form is a massive, yellow eye floating in an ethereal dimension. And upon reaching the apex of it's powers, Grimdo then covers the entire skies with giant floating eyes.
* FlyAtTheCameraEnding: For the New Generation Heroes, all of them whose final scene is flying towards the camera - one at a time - while waving at the audience.
* FusionDance: [[spoiler: Ultraman Reiga, which is formed through the fusion of '''eleven''' Ultramen (count em!): Ginga, Victory, X, Orb, Geed, Rosso, Blu, Grigrio, Taiga, Fuma and Titas]].
* GodzillaThreshold: A villainous example is utilized when Ultraman Tregear realize he's facing off against ten heroic Ultras. The fallen Ultra responds by summoning five kaijus from the TV series - Hellberus, Segmeger, Night Fang, Gigadelos and Gorothunder, and unleashes them into the city.
* GrievousHarmWithABody: [[spoiler: After Ultraman Taiga had absorbed the other Ultra heroes' energy into himself and became Ultraman Reiga, the city-sized monster Grimdo, who is still holding Taro in it's claws, then hurls Taro towards Reiga. Luckily Reiga empowered state allows him to catch Taro in mid-air and put the veteran Ultra on the ground without hurting him]].
* HauntedTechnology: Much like Tregear in the [[Film/UltramanRBTheMovieSelectTheCrystalOfBond previous Ultraman movie]], Grimdo approaches it's human victims using this method as well, namely through a ShockSite where it entices human visitors to click through.
* HenshinHero: The entire team of New Generation Heroes, in their human hosts and forms: Hikaru Raidō, Sho, Daichi Ozora, Gai Kurenai, Riku Asakura, Katsumi and Isami Minato, and Hiroyuki Kudo, ALL of them who had an onscreen TransformationSequence at the exact same time when they took off to battle Grimdo and Ultraman Tregear's team of monsters.
* HeroicSecondWind: [[spoiler: The seemingly defeated Ultraman Taro suddenly getting up on his feet, and blocking a powerful energy blast from Grimdo meant to take down the New Generation Heroes, while telling the heroes to unleash their powers into Ultraman Taiga's horns. The veteran Ultra's intervention is what the heroes need to finally defeat Grimdo]].
* HopeSpot: A rather dark version: after a lengthy battle, Ultraman Taro managed to unleash his Storium Dynamite on Grimdo, and seems to have finally destroyed the monster in the subsequent explosion. Alas, it doesn't work, [[spoiler: Grimdo simply reforms itself within ''seconds'' and ends up possessing Taro]].
* ImprovisedWeapon: Katsumi and Isami uses a pair of tree branches when fighting off several alien punks.
* InvoluntaryDance: Pirika, after getting momentarily exposed to Grimdo's energy (via a cursed website), starts doing an impromptu tap-dance routine, while Hiroyuki and an Alien Fanton tried to make her stop to no avail. The arrival of Daichi Ozora (Ultraman X's human host) finally allows her to break away from her trance, with Daichi using the X-Devizer to eradicate the energy from her.
* IKnowYoureInThereSomewhereFight: [[spoiler: Ultraman Taiga attempts to awaken his father, the Grimdo-possessed Ultraman Taro, while fighting him]].
* {{Kaiju}}: It's an Ultraman show.
** Right off the start, the fight against Dada culminates with the alien summoning a Legionoid into the city.
** There's also Tregear and his team of monsters, which he summons in order to stall the New Generation Heroes.
** A ''demonic'' kaiju called Grimdo, who existed as the form of primordial chaos gods serves as the film's main villain.
* LateArrivalSpoiler: The movie didn't even hide the fact that Alien Magma and Alien Markind, two aliens which are traditionally portrayed as villains, are now allies of the humans and working with EGIS, showing them helping EGIS detain Alien Dada at the prologue.
* MakeMyMonsterGrow: Grimdo, upon [[spoiler: absorbing Tregear into itself]], began growing and growing until it towers absolutely over the Ultras. How big? At one point, he attempts a GiantFootOfStomping on [[spoiler: Ultraman Reiga]].
* MassOhCrap: The Tri-Force and the New Generation Heroes have this reaction at [[spoiler: Grimdo being unleashed and enveloping the entire city in darkness]].
* MythologyGag: [[spoiler: In order to defeat Grimdo, the New Generation Heroes must focus their energy into Ultraman Taiga's Horns, allowing Taiga to fuse with the other Ultras and unlock his ultimate form - Ultraman Reiga]]. Taiga's father, Ultraman Taro, with the original Ultra Brothers, did the exact same thing in ''Film/UltramanStory'' in order to destroy Grand King.

* PlotIrrelevantVillain: The Dada in the opening theft have absolutely ''nothing'' to do with the film's main plot, and exists only to get pummeled by the Tri-Force before getting forgotten.
* SealedEvilInACan: The film's BigBad, "Malicious Demonic Monster" Grimdo, sealed away in the graveyard ruins of Planet Borges prior to the events of the movie, only for the villainous Ultraman Tregear to break the seal and release the monster.
* ShockAndAwe: Grimdo himself, and Ultras empowered by Grimdo, tends to use electricity-based attacks, by launching powerful purple electrical bolts from their hands. [[spoiler: This even applies to the Grimdo-possessed Ultraman Taro, who usually specializes in flame-based moves, but now assaults Taiga and the New Generation Ultras with shocking attacks]].
