Blond Guys Are Evil and Blondes Are Evil are no longer tropes.

* BlondeGuysAreEvil: Since Archie is played by the blonde-haired Gary Busey, it is very obvious that he acts rather antagonistically at first, but the trope is subverted later on after Archie's HeelFaceTurn.

Quigley was a 2003 MadeForTV film that was released by Destiny Worldwide Entertainment and distributed by [=GoodTimes=] Entertainment.

Archie Channing is a rich yet unforgiving and despicable executive who not only treats his employees and other people around him with contempt, but he is also shown to harbor an undisguised animosity for dogs. One day, after conversing with his trusted employee Dexter Pearlsley to play a special disc at a stockholder's meeting that would forever change the lives of employees at his company, while he is out driving, Archie ends up in a car crash after swerving to avoid running over a dog that somehow got into the road. As a result, Archie is sent to Heaven where he is told that because of the lack of goodness and kindness in his heart, he is to be sent back to Earth in the form of a cute and cuddly Pomeranian dog named Quigley, all while supervised by his guardian angel, Sweeney. Now that Archie is Quigley, he has two assignments to complete before he is to be allowed passage into Heaven; the first one to destroy the CD that Archie had created previously, and the second one to make sure that his brother Woodward Channing does not face financial ruin. In the end, after completing these assignments, Archie is sent back to Earth, where it is revealed that his entire experience was nothing more than a dream, but has now changed his ways and makes amends with Woodward.

----

!Quigley provides the following tropes:

* AllJustADream: Near the end, it has never been fully addressed whether Archie's entire experience after the car crash was just a dream or not.
* AmplifiedAnimalAptitude: Since Quigley is the canine alter-ego of Archie, he is able to solve any kind of problem effortlessly, and at one point, he was seen reading the stock exchange in the newspaper.
* AnnoyingYoungerSibling: Brian, to Megan.
* ArgumentOfContradictions: Archie and Sweeney end up in one of these when Sweeney tells Archie that he did not save him from the dog pound when he whistled.
* BalefulPolymorph: Archie turns into the cuddly white Pomeranian, Quigley, though he can change back to his regular form when around Sweeney.
* BlondesAreEvil: Since Archie is played by the blonde-haired Gary Busey, it is very obviously that he acts rather antagonistically at first, but the trope is subverted later on after Archie's HeelFaceTurn.
* CorruptCorporateExecutive: Archie Channing, prior to his CharacterDevelopment.
* DeadpanSnarker: Sweeney the guardian angel, to Archie. Though, Archie is no slouch either so the two end up in SnarkToSnarkCombat sometimes.
* EpicFail: Megan leaves the house to check and make sure that the "Lost Dog" signs are still up, but when she tries to go home afterwards, she ends up getting lost, not knowing which way to go. You'd think that someone at Megan's age would be old enough to know which way home is. It's lucky that Quigley was able to find her.
* FantasticRacism: Archie's attitude towards dogs, which he hates with a passion, until the end of the movie.
* Game Within a Movie: The "Tiny Tales" video games, which Woodward had been working on, but have been unable to finish, due to financial problems.
* GratuitousGerman: Frank the janitor
* HeelFaceTurn: Archie, near the end of the film.
* HeyItsThatGuy: Archie is Mr. Joshua.
* HeyItsThatVoice: Patrick Star is one of the hilariously inept security guards.
* NotUsingTheZWord: Inverted as none of the dogs that appear in the movie are referred to by their breed names, instead referred to as just "dogs".
* PoundsAreDoggyPrison: Quigley/Archie ends up in the pound after Wally Sprigs catches him.
* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: Quigley himself
* RoadApples: At the beginning of the movie, Archie ends up stepping and slipping on dog poop when he tries chasing after a poodle that was on the property of his company.
* SmellySkunk: Wally Sprigs the animal control officer, in his first appearance, is seen at one point carrying a skunk that he had managed to catch, which he does not seem to enjoy one bit.
* ThoseTwoGuys: The two security guards who make the Storm Troopers from Franchise/StarWars look like experienced marksmen.
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: When looking for the CD that Archie had hidden, Quigley is able to find it without any problems, since he used to be Archie. Sara does not give a second thought to how this small cuddly dog is able to find the CD in the place that only Archie knew about.
* UrineTrouble: Quigley pees on the briefcase left on the floor in Dexter's office. Lampshaded by Sweeney afterwards. One of the angels refers to it as the "no-no" near the end of the movie.
* VillainProtagonist: Archie, up until his CharacterDevelopment, in a near-similar matter to that of Charlie B. Barkin from WesternAnimation/AllDogsGoToHeaven.
* WackySoundEffect: After Wally Sprigs has caught another dog and he puts it in the back of his truck, from the truck, we not only hear the sounds of dogs barking, but also cows mooing and chickens clucking.
