The last chapter so far was released on April 8, 2016 (which came after the author missed March), and the story has not been updated since. He had stated in June that he remains dedicated to the story and was likely going to change the chapter format to multi-part segments (instead of the "several-thousand words in one sitting" chapters that was established earlier) to allow for more frequent updates, though nothing came of it. He since switched to working on a ''Disney/{{Zootopia}}'' fanfic that he began in late April 2016, the same month when the last ''[=TFoFP=]'' chapter was published. The result is a 22,000 one-chapter fic (not marked complete, but the story stands alone) that does perfect justice to all characters and both worlds (humans' and monsters'). ''Great'' story.
