He's used his warp vision to free people by reshaping the wreckage trapping them, create bridges or stairways to help people get to safety, open large holes in burning buildings so trapped people can escape, and move live wires so they don't endanger anyone.

* HurtingHero: Rick was one of these for a long time at the start, but CharacterDevelopment has made him stronger for it, to the point where he's now the one who's providing emotional support to the rest of his friends in tough times. Sleepwalker, however, isn't so lucky.

* VillainTeamUp: A variant in that Sleepwalker's enemies aren't the ones that team up. Instead, Franchise/SpiderMan's old enemies reunite as the Sinister Six as part of Doctor Octopus's latest evil scheme. To even the odds, Spidey hastily recruits an impromptu team of heroes, one of which is Sleepwalker. It culminates in a six-on-six battle royale, with Sleepwalker, Darkhawk, the Thing, ComicBook/CaptainAmerica and ComicBook/{{Daredevil}} fighting Electro, the Sandman, the Rhino, the Scorpion and the Shocker while Spider-Man takes on Doctor Octopus.

* BizarreAlienPsychology: Sleepwalkers have no art, music, industry or even much leisure in their society. Their entire nine-century lifespan consists mostly of fighting the horrors of the Mindscape, reproducing with each other and combat training, with little freedom to do anything else. It'd be a horrific existence for humans that need variety and choice in their lives, but the Sleepwalkers find it as normal and comforting as breathing. The Sleepwalker trapped in Rick's mind copes with his being cut off from his kin and home in part by fighting crime in the human world, protecting innocent peoples' bodies and belongings the way he protected their minds in the Mindscape.

** The ComicBook/XMen have elements of this too in that they've actually succeeded in building public support for mutant rights, to the point that anti-mutant organizations like the Friends of Humanity are widely seen as hate groups and the [[SuperRegistrationAct Mutant Registration Act]] was recently declared unconstitutional. This leaves the career of [[CorruptPolitician Senator Robert Kelly]], one of the country's most prominent anti-mutant politicians, hanging by a thread. He's so desperate to turn the public against mutant rights that he's willing to conspire with supervillains to commit domestic terrorism and trigger a backlash that he'll try and blame on mutants.

* UnstoppableRage: Sleepwalker suffers from this whenever he fights Psyko. Although Psyko is much more powerful than Sleepwalker, the sheer anger and hatred Sleepwalker feels for the monster allows him allowing them to push his powers up a notch and take the kind of punishment you'd expect more from ComicBook/{{Wolverine}} or ComicBook/TheIncredibleHulk. It has a distinct downside in that Sleepwalker is typically so exhausted after such a battle that he can't emerge from Rick's mind for a few days until he recovers.
