Trope has been disambiguated. Removing ZCE.

* TakeThatUs:
** Adam on Caleston:
--> The whole experience felt like something straight out of a bad fantasy novel.
** "Singularity's a bitch, ain't it? Nothing like in the video games, where they just float like idiots."
** In chapter 41, Garrus wonders about "the strange critters out of some bad video game".

Anything That Moves is a disambiguation

* AnythingThatMoves: Not one of the most extreme examples, but Jane of the Deep Eyes casually propositions Garrus for some "Cooldown Sex" after a mission.

The 'others', the Precursors Prometheans and the invading abominable eldritch force, are based on VideoGame/ShinMegamiTensei / VideoGame/Xenogears / VideoGame/Drakengard / Franchise/FinalFantasy / VideoGame/Warframe / . Your Mileage May Vary, but there's something to be said when your mind rebels whenever they show up. They're truly alien, and their mere presence enters in conflict with established facts and reveals weird things about the universe.

Cloning Blues has been renamed to Clone Angst and redefined to only be about people angsting about being a clone. Removing "clones exist" usage.

* CloningBlues: Given that cloning doesn't enhance the capabilities of a species, neither the Citadel nor the Alliance have any problem with it. However, their legal status is pretty horrible, with the foremost producer of human clones proudly calling itself "Sosamshin", after the Korean deity who created cattle. And even then they have it easy over there; the UNAS has a shoot on sight policy.

A Date With Rosie Palms is no longer a trope

* CaughtWithYourPantsDown: In chapter 44, masturbating. He does not stop for their benefit.

** The Omar Drebin's first name is "Smuggler". The canonical Drebin was an expy of the DX character with that title. * MegaCrossover: Of a sorts: the bulk of the continuity is set around the Deus Ex and Mass Effect universes, but there are elements from Atlus, Konami - like Franchise/MetalGear or VisualNovel/Snatcher - and Creator/SquareEnix series such as VideoGame/FrontMission and Anime/FinalFantasyTheSpiritsWithin fused in and altered to fit, creating an experience greater than the sum of its parts. There's enough other stuff combined in it too that sometimes, it feels less like a Mass Effect/Deus Ex crossover, and more like a crossover of those two franchises and everything else. However, [[spoiler:the in-universe reason there are so many Shout Outs to 20th/21st century pop culture is that humanity was completely wiped out in 2072 and somehow re-created... by a geek who filled in his gaps in real historical knowledge with plot elements from movies and video games. It's not really a megacrossover; everything that's not Deus Ex or Mass Effect is the creation of a geeky god]].

* ChainmailBikini: Invoked by Subject Zero in Interlude 3, who has a hardsuit cut down into a belly button-exposing corset. Her reasoning is simple: because her PsychicPowers render her immune to bullets, she doesn't really need the full body coverage, and the fact that their weapons are completely ineffective against a mostly-exposed girl utterly terrifies her opponents.
