* BladeOnAStick: Both Percy and Caenis have been given Poseidon's trident and thus access to his Authorities over earth and sea through his favor for them, Percy for being his favorite son and Caenis as an apology for raping her. This is also why Percy qualifies for Lancer, though he'd almost certainly kill his Master from sheer mana consumption before he got to do anything if he were summoned like this.

* ProngsOfPoseidon: Type 1. Poseidon's Authority over earth and sea is embodied in his Noble Phantasm: Trident Ocean Ray – Sea God’s Trident. Due to being favored by Poseidon, both Percy and Caenis have it even though Poseidon still exists in the Lostbelt.

* CleavageWindow: Percy is baffled by his father's armor, which has a gaping hole to expose his chest. It doesn't matter much given his invulnerability, but he feels indecent because of it and quickly looks for a shirt to cover himself up.

* DoppelgangerGetsSameSentiment: Percy hesitates when fighting Lostbelt Chiron, whose face reminds him so much of the Chiron who had taught Percy everything he knows. He gets over it with the knowledge that his beloved teacher from Pan-Human History is on his side. Even then, he's creeped out by the idea of Chiron more or less cannibalizing his Lostbelt counterpart and cringes when Lostbelt Chiron screams after being paralyzed.

* LastNameBasis: Percy refers to Wodime by his surname, showing that he recognizes him as an enemy and not letting his morals get in the way in case he needs to throw down with him.

* AwesomeButImpractical: It's noted that while Percy is a ludicrously strong Servant, his strength and arsenal of skills and Noble Phantasms make his upkeep absolutely ruinous. Because of this, he'd be virtually impossible to utilize in a Holy Grail War without the aid of an external power source. The only reason he's able to operate at all is the fact that the Lostbelt is rich with mana due to the Age of Gods never ending on top of being supercharged with the Klironomia of several Greek gods to compensate for his energy costs. If he hadn't gotten those nanomachines, he would have faded away before he even finished his first fight. Percy speculates that his outrageous mana costs are the reason why he wasn't summoned to save the world when human history was incinerated by Goetia, and he was only summoned into the Atlantic Lostbelt because it was the only place he'd actually have a chance of lasting long enough to fight.

* CoolUncle: While thinking about his family tree, Percy realizes that his beloved teacher Chiron, a son of Kronos, is technically his uncle. Percy doesn't dwell on it much though, as he is far more interested in whether or not Chiron was a robot like the Olympians.

* DeadlyUpgrade: Percy requests Hephaestus to make his version of Trident Ocean Ray as powerful as possible with full knowledge that it would certainly kill him by the time he was done with it. Since fighting his father would be a SuicideMission regardless, he says that he might as well have every ounce of power he can to make it one with some chance of success.

** Percy is a friendly and caring guy who doesn't want to see Olympus' citizens getting hurt even though he was summoned to destroy the Lostbelt and them along with it. Chiron is also a kind and noble teacher who Percy adores for being the kind of mentor figure he always needed as a kid.

** Lostbelt Chiron's forces fire hundreds of arrows at Percy for everyone of his heartbeats. Each arrow is strong enough to shred a tree trunk or shatter the ground, but their aim is so perfect that Percy is able to dodge or intercept them relatively easily.

* SympathyForTheDevil: After learning Caenis' identity, Percy is still willing to tear her apart for assaulting him but can't bring himself to hate her anymore, acknowledging what his father did to her ''was'' unforgiveable.

* ThereCanOnlyBeOne: Normally, Chiron would have been absorbed by his Lostbelt version almost immediately due to the latter being the more powerful existence. Chiron was only spared because the gods were unsure of how this would affect Lostbelt Chiron. Because of this, Percy uses his nanomachines to steal the critically injured Lostbelt Chiron's own to allow Chiron to take over his body.

* [[ReluctantFanserviceGirl Reluctant Fanservice Guy]]: Percy is not pleased when he learns that his new armor comes with a gratuitous CleavageWindow that shows off his pecs and abs and feels indecent because of it (though he's glad his armor includes pants, unlike Caenis' version). So when he comes across a village whose inhabitants rush to serve him as the son of Poseidon, one of the first things he asks for is a shirt.

* IGaveMyWord: Discussed and weaponized. Percy possesses one of Theseus' Noble Phantasms, the three favors he received from Poseidon that he promised to answer no matter what. Although Percy hopes to use these wishes to restore enough of Poseidon's personality to hold a conversation, Chiron advises him against that, as the gods repeatedly breath their oaths and forgo their favors for their own convenience. Percy knows this but remains steadfast, as though oaths from Poseidon mean nothing to Chiron, as Poseidon's son, his oaths mean the world to Percy, just as Poseidon rushed to his aid during the Battle of Manhattan.

* PainfulTransformation: Stealing Lostbelt Chiron's copy of the Zeus' Klironomia causes Percy's body to spasms as his body's structure was being changed from the inside out before losing consciousness.

* DeflectorShield: Hephaestus sends for Minerva to help him make the Aegis for Percy. Also known as the Divine Corpus Bounded Field, it is essentially the force field used by all of the gods back when they were ships. Making one for Percy would essentially give him the protection of a god, but against the likes of Poseidon, it would only even the odds enough that Percy would be able to withstand two or three non-fatal blows before it crumbles.

* DiscardAndDraw: In order to obtain armor and weaponry that will give him some chance of victory, Percy offers up several of the Noble Phantasms in his possession to Hephaestus. Among them, he hands over the Golden Fleece, Medusa's head, Riptide, his father's trident, his father's armor, the Nemean Lion's pelt, and Pandora's Box.

* HijackedDestiny: According to the author, Perseus Khresmos would work like this if Percy were to be summoned as a Saber. Instead of drawing upon his fate, he'd be able to become the focus of any fate or conclusion he would be eligible for because of his decision to become the focus of the Great Prophecy when he turned sixteen. So if one of twenty people were to be taken in for questioning, he could make it so that person would be him. This also means e can choose to take oh the fate of "Winner of the Holy Grail", meaning that in a Holy Grail War, he's guaranteed to win unless his opponent's luck stat allows them to [[ScrewDestiny outright defy fate.]]

* TheLawOfDiminishingDefensiveEffort: Percy's invulnerability lets him shrug about nearly anything anyone can throw at him. But he makes a point of deflecting Lostbelt Chiron's arrows just in case they had a way to pierce them. When he decides to risk his shoulder to test them, he finds that his invulnerability on the sea still holds and completely abandons defense to go on the attack. That said, when Lostbelt Chiron's soldiers fill the sky with a RainOfArrows, Percy dodges anyways as a precaution in case Moly didn't stop their magic from working.

* SplitPersonalityMerge: Chiron explains this as a possible risk of absorbing his Lostbelt counterpart. Absorbing him would mean reliving Lostbelt Chiron's life, meaning that Chiron would experience 14,000 years of memories in an instant. Because of this, he isn't sure if it will change his personality or not, and Percy is so unnerved that he offers to just kill Lostbelt Chiron on the spot. But Chiron takes the plunge anyways, deeming the information Lostbelt Chiron has too valuable to pass up. Luckily, Chiron pulls through and is still the same as ever.

* FlingALightIntoTheFuture: Percy fully expects to die when he confronts his father, but hopes to be able to at least kill Poseidon to both free him from Poseidon's servitude as well as open the door to Olympus for the Servants that come after him. As if to emphasize the point, he hands Pandora's Box to Hephaestus, telling him to "just hand it to the next guy", in case he doesn't survive his battle with Poseidon.
