* SoProudOfYou:Right before the final battle against Darkseid, [[ComicBook/DoomPatrol Steve Dayton]] makes sure that his son [[Franchise/TeenTitans Changeling]] knows both he and his wife are proud of him:

* TakenForGranite: In "The Apokolips Agenda", [[Franchise/TeenTitans Trigon]] turns every hero and villain in the battlefield to stone. Fortunately, one of them resists the transformation for long enough to summon The Spectre, who deals with Trigon and undoes his spell.

* AnythingThatMoves: Satan Girl isn't picky. Like, at all.
-->She could explore pleasures of the body that Kara never would have dared to, satisfy lusts that the blonde beast never even knew she had. She could force herself upon any suitor, male or female or whatever, and destroy them after their job was done.

* HurtingHero: Take a child who is barely fifteen when she gets sent to another world as her parents and her whole civilization die. Then put her through a decade and a half of fighting the scum of the universe as failing to form any kind of long-lasting relationship or find her place in an alien culture. Then have her battle an eldritch abomination and barely survive after getting nearly ripped apart. The end result is Kara Zor-El being depressed, worn-out and sick of risking her life on a daily basis; but even so she always answers the call every time she gets dragged into another cosmic battle.

* OverprotectiveDad: Discussed. Kara wants Dev-Em to meet her adoptive parents, and her boyfriend argues her birth or adoptive parents will murder him. Despite his fears, Fred and Edna Danvers resign themselves to the fact their daughter is dating someone they don't approve of (Superman got into a fact with Dev, nonetheless).

** As he was trapped in a star, Wildfire tried to communicate with the inhabitants of the closest planet. Unfortunately, when he explained he was a guy in the Sun above, some people thought he was a god, despite his best efforts to explain the matter.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: Kara is her family's kindest and most empathetic member, as well as a PhysicalGod with a fierce temper, which is because she explodes when Darkseid almost kills Superman, Power Girl and Dev-Em. She doesn't win because Darkseid vs anybody battles can only end in one way, but she still gets several good licks before going down.

* FasterThanLightTravel: A lot of characters -Supergirl and all Kryptonians, Mon-El...- have the power to travel faster-than-light, which they use to move quickly through time, space and even other dimensions:

* ToTheFutureAndBeyond: In ''Hellspawn'', Kara and Dev are forcefully pulled to the 30th century, but eighteen years after the period they usually travel to and from.

In an alternate timeline in where Supergirl fought the [[ComicBook/CrisisOnInfiniteEarths Anti-Monitor]] and survived, she is making a life for herself in Earth society. However, several returning enemies as well as Darkseid going ahead with his plans to enslave all sentient beings threaten to finish what the Anti-Monitor began.

This story is told through of several story arcs:

* TheyDo: After many adventures and much bickering, Kara and Dev finally tie the knot at the start of "Hellspawn".

* TriangRelations: Brainiac 5 is in love with Supergirl, who is in a relationship with Dev-Em.
