Fortunately, [[BigSisterInstinct Hinata]] rips the stolen eyes off ''him'' and gives them back to her sister.]]
** ''Anime/BorutoNarutoTheMovie'' has an unusual example [[spoiler:due to the BigBad having a Rinnegan in each hand in addition to the two Byakugan and forehead Rinnegan on his face, and only the eye in his right hand is stabbed because the heroes needed to get past its ninjutsu absorbing abilities.]]

* The ''Anime/DigimonTamers'' movie "Runaway Locomon" features a battle against several big eyed digimon. What is disturbing (but not surprising) is to see the main character impale several of them through the eye, cutting them with the tip of his lance, complete with green slimy liquid coming out of it. This aired on ''Disney'' [[spoiler: which edited just the graphical cutting and impaling of the first monster; the others though...]]

* The eponymous girls from ''Manga/GunslingerGirl'' are extremely resilient to physical attacks, to the point that they can't be shot down by just a few bullets. Their only true weak point is their eyes, which gets addressed in a rather gruesome way in Elsa's story, [[spoiler: when she gets fed up with her handler Lauro's ''extreme'' neglection, shoots him dead, and then commits suicide by shooting herself in an eye]].
** A fact that the professional assassin Pinocchio also seems to understand, as demonstrated when he attempts to finish his fight with Triela by shoving a key through her right eye. [[spoiler:More incredibly, Triela counters (and kills) him by stabbing her ''fingers'' through his throat.]]
** And again invoked when [[spoiler:right before dying, Jose kills Henrietta via shooting her in the eye.]]

* In Literature/{{Another}}, Mei Misaki lost an eye as a little girl due to illness so she has a fake one (made by her doll-maker mother) behind an EyepatchOfPower. In the manga, however, she gets stabbed through her empty eye by [[spoiler: Izumi Akazawa]]

* ''Manga/InuYasha'' has more than one invocatuion of this trope:

** In ''Manga/PhantomBlood'', [[TheHero Jonathan]] punches Doobie, one of [[BigBad Dio]]'s zombie minions, knocking out one of his eyes. This reveals that Doobie has a number of venomous snakes inside his head.
** In ''Manga/BattleTendency'', [[ProudWarriorRaceGuy Wamuu]] gouges out his own eyes so that [[TheHero Joseph]] won't be able to trick him. He can regenerate them, being a [[OurVampiresAreDifferent Pillar Man]], [[spoiler:though he never gets a chance to do so before he dies]].
** ''Manga/StardustCrusaders'':

*** Kakyoin gets his eyes slashed by [[FightingSpirit Geb's]] razor sharp pointy finger nails, nearly going blind. [[PutOnABus He stays in the hospital recovering for most of the Egypt arc]] [[TheBusCameBack but he (and Iggy) rejoins the Crusaders in time]] to head off to [[BigBad DIO's]] mansion. It was a bloody mess when he got cut and it left behind two long and thin twin scars over his eyes.

* The manga version of ''Manga/BattleRoyale'' has several, mostly courtesy of [[TheSociopath Kiriyama]]. The first comes in a flashback scene where a [[ArrogantKungFuGuy bullying Judo teacher]] made the mistake of pushing Kiriyama around, and Kiriyama simply stuck a finger into his eye, then dragged him around by the stalk for a bit before squashing the eyeball between his fingers. Later in a fight with [[WarriorPoet Sugimura]], Kiriyama stabs Sugi in one eye with a handmade wooden throwing dagger…

** Done in a much more horrific way in a flashback during the Totland arc: [[spoiler:Pedro]] is sentenced by Big Mom to pay a fine of 60 years of his own lifespan for raiding Big Mom's castle and cutting out Baron Tamago's eye. In response, [[spoiler:Pedro]] ''gouges out his own eye'' and offers it as "reparations" for Tamago's eye. This actually [[YouGotSpunk impresses Big Mom]], who accepts it and reducs the fine to "just" 50 years.

Due to ignorance on the part of his client, the Red Cat Brigade, and an accident on his part, they all end up experiencing its ability to cause debilitating burning sensations in the eyes and nose.
* The light novel series ''LightNovel/{{Durarara}}'', depicts Erika and Walker torturing a man by imitating a scene from ''Manga/BlackButler'', by branding his eye. It's a very disturbing reveal of just ''how devoted'' they are to their anime and manga -- although they're also quick to note that if it wasn't anime and manga, it would be something else that they would take their inspiration from. In the anime, it's PlayedForLaughs, by just seeing comical struggling from outside the van, just barely skimming over how twisted these kids are.
** ''Durarara!!'' also features an Eye Scream moment when Awakusu executive Mizuki Akabayashi [[spoiler: rips his own right eye out with his fingers after his eye is slashed with Saika.]] Somehow, he not only doesn't die, he remains standing and continues talking to Sayaka Sonohara –- [[spoiler: the ''person who slashed him'']] -– as if it were nothing.

* In an infamously disturbing scene from ''LightNovel/SwordArtOnline'', [[spoiler: the HERO Kirito does this to the VILLAIN, Oberon AKA Nobuyuki Sugou. In their final confrontation in the real world, the eye injury was revealed to be so painful that he went half blind from the phantom pain]].

* In ''LightNovel/VampireHunterD'' when D breaks into Count Magnus Lee's hideout he tosses a knife into his eye, Magnus casually takes out the knife, pulls his eye out of his socket, and places it back in after healing it.

* In the Chapter 94 of ''Manga/FullmetalAlchemist''... well, I'll let the quote tell the story.
