* ''Film/CivilWar2024'': The "Western Forces" are apparently led by a coalition of California and Texas; for those unfamiliar with American politics, California and Texas are generally regarded as strongholds for opposite political parties; California historically votes exclusively for Democrats and has very liberal politics, while Texas votes entirely for Republicans and has very conservative politics, so the idea of them working together for any reason is regarded as implausible. WordOfGod is that the circumstances that sparked the civil war (a fascist president who completely voided the Constitution) were bad enough to force them to put aside their differences and team up.
