** Poor Hinjo seems prone to this, as his first major fight was with newly-FallenHero Miko. Miko is severely injured from her prior fight with Roy, has lost the vast majority of her power (including, according to commentary, most of her magic items), and is ''deep'' into SanitySlippage territory, and she's going up against the second-strongest person in her organization... and we then get to see that Miko's arrogant claim of being the ''first'' is well-founded. After drawing his sword, Hinjo gets in one minor hit by grazing her foot, and then she promptly stabs him in the gut, forces him to the ground with repeated attacks, and [[KickThemWhileTheyAreDown starts whaling on him]]. It's only Roy's timely intervention that saves Hinjo's life.

*** He later utterly defeats Karaka with a ''single finger'', with Karaka having to explode his body to escape, and pretty much makes Hell Joe, who was beating up everyone else and even Yuri couldn't fight him, look pathetic as he simply uses 10% and utterly wrecks him, using physical strength and shinsu in utterly incredulous ways despite the fact that the entire space was supposed to be under his control and Joe ''did'' limit Urek's shinsu, which simply makes him exploit the fact that he is an Irregular and thus has partial immunity to it, meaning he was not only holding himself back but was also in a sense weakened yet he still humiliates him. He even states that lots of people in the Tower, thousands of which are weaker than him by a pretty big margin, are able to fight at that level, making it clear it's hardly anything special.

** Subverted in "Deng Deng", when Bam is faced with Baragav. It's first shown as though Bam was knocked out in one hit, but both combatant's thoughts and a flashback afterward show that the battle went on for a while and Bam was holding back in order to get captured. [[spoiler: When they meet again and both are actually trying, it goes the other way around.]]

** Subverted in "Deng Deng", when Bam Data Jahad vs anyone he fights apart from Data Eduan and naturally his unbelievably much stronger real self. Displaying exactly how mighty an Irregular is faced even as a Regular, Data Maschenny, a future top 100 High Ranker, barely even scratches him and that's with Baragav. Jahad being kind enough to let her fight him that well. Even Bam, after training with Eduan after their first fight ends with him being utterly beaten with a single hit, still gets shades of this much of the time as Jahad pushes him back nearly the entire time and Bam struggles to land the few hits he did. It's only after he uses a risky power-up that he finally wins.
** The new and improved Bam in the third season at this point can utterly destroy any Mook he faces with ease and it eventually reaches the level where anyone who isn't a powerful High Ranker can't even stand a chance against him now especially as he keeps getting stronger. He starts out with Regulars: An entire squad of Mad Dogs get killed in an instant, the "strongest" D-Rank Regular Baragav gets utterly wrecked by him after their

It quickly extends to even ''Rankers''!: He swiftly beats a Ranker who underestimate him, swiftly dispatches an "elite" Ranker with ease, and defeats entire group of Ranker-level monsters without a scratch on him, White even admitting it was pretty one-sided. In fact, recently, Bam was holding back defeated a ''High Ranker'' of the Lo Po Bia Family named Haland with ease!
** Kallavan vs all the guards of the Wall. Even with a single hand sealed, he is still after all a ''very strong'' High Ranker. Simply brute punches has the Regular-level guys easily down and he hardly exerts himself against the High Ranker-level Tonki, killing him with a single punch.
** Evankhell summarily wipes the floor with the entire Fourth Squadron as a High Ranker of similar ranking to Jinsung Ha and Kallavan, being superior to an entire Jahad Army Squadron without their own Squadron Commander, and does so twice.
** The Family Head Lo Po Bia Traumerei,
in order a perfect example of TheWorfEffect, utterly defeats the super-powerful Ancient Akrinak by summoning a creature beyond his ability to get captured. [[spoiler: When defeat and then kills Nen Neya with a simple green spear. Several rounds later, Xykon manages to literally beat the power out of Vaarsuvius.]]
** The fight between Roy and Xykon is a straighter example. While Roy does get a few superficial hits in, Xykon states he's way out of Roy's league and proceeds to demonstrate that by flying out of Roy's reach and blasting him in the face with a Meteor Swarm, sending Roy plummeting hundreds of feet to his death.
** [[MemeticBadass O-Chul]] vs. [[TheDragon Redcloak]]. The paladin takes the ~17th level cleric's Disintegrate without blinking and proceeds to SmiteEvil Redcloak's eye with a '' blunt metal bar'' that he ripped from his cage. Then O-Chul takes away Redcloak's holy symbol, temporarily negating the vast majority of his spellcasting ability and leaving the cleric no choice but to flee.
** Belkar does a fairly good job of fighting off both Bozzok and Crystal while the gang fight the Thieves Guild, but once Bozzok leaves to chase Haley, Belkar takes down Crystal in what appears to be two rounds without even letting her get a hit in.
** Haley vs. Crystal is one as well, as Haley deliberately waited until Crystal was getting out of the shower to attack her (so that Crystal would not be wearing her standard magic items), and then took her by surprise. Crystal is on the floor in seconds, [[spoiler:and then Haley kills her.]]
** Redcloak vs. Hinjo, so fast that it hardly qualifies as a battle. Hinjo has a few seconds after catching Redcloak's attention to yell about the goblin is going to pay for [[spoiler:conquering Azure City]], before a well-placed Disintegrate knocks him flat.
** Also, Redcloak vs. [[spoiler:The Azure City Resistance.]] Having gained a new spell level, Redcloak waltzes in with what looks like dozens of summoned devils and elementals, and starts casually casting Implosion on his opponents. Only a couple of characters even have a chance to flee, and [[SoleSurvivor only one ultimately survives]]. And although Redcloak [[spoiler:wouldn't have recovered the phylactery without his hobgoblin spy]], he otherwise took on an entire fighting force and annihilated them without breaking a sweat. * In ''Webcomic/BasicInstructions'', this is ([[OffscreenMomentOfAwesome reportedly]]) the result every time the [[ComicallyInvincibleHero superhero]] [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Rocket Hat]] takes on the Moon Men and their emperor.
* [[http://fav.me/d6oggwf This comic has]] a dragon chasing Fluttershy. One of these ensues when [[spoiler:Discord pulls a BigDamnHeroes and kicks the dragon's tail.]]
* From ''Webcomic/{{Terra}}'', the [[http://terra-comic.com/wordpress/archives/1235 "fight"]]
bloodied mess between [[TheBigGuy Agrippa Varus]] and [[DarkActionGirl Catella Myrha]]. Catella moves in fast and Agrippa almost contemptuously slaps the knife out of her hand and {{Neck Lift}}s her. Certainly explains why she fled rather than face him pages]]. It probably would've gone a couple chapters ago.
* Hilarious example in ''Webcomic/TurnSignalsOnALandRaider''. [[TankGoodness Baneblade]] turns up to a 700 point battle, starts bragging, gets creamed by a dozen Lascannon shots, and then realises that the Baneblade is 634 points and hence ''he has no other units on the board''. One turn win for the Space Marines.
* The funniest one in ''Webcomic/OurLittleAdventure'' was the battle between [[http://danielscreations.com/ola/comics/ep0469.html Angelika and Candesco]]. Being a ''TabletopGame/DungeonsAndDragons'' webcomic, character levels determine how powerful someone is. Candesco at the time was ''6 levels higher'' than Angelika. Though the fight wasn't to the death, he urged Angelika [[BringIt not to hold anything back]] in the fight.
lot worse if [[spoiler: She lost. Twice in a row.]]
* Several
Grace hadn't teleported her out of these occur in ''Webcomic/MMBN7TheWorldTournament'', especially when a major character fights a lesser opponent. One notable example is Bass vs Videoman, where Videoman is deleted in ''seconds''.
* ''WebComic/OnePunchMan''. [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin It's
the story of a man who defeats nearly every enemy with just one punch]].battle]].

* In ''Webcomic/{{Plume}}'', Corrick's powers tend to turn most fights into this. When him and Vesper have to catch Dom, the fight takes under a minute.
* ''Webcomic/SleeplessDomain'': Team-Alchemical-minus-Tessa versus the elevator/deer-shadow.
* ''Webcomic/LeifAndThorn'': [[spoiler:Ivy versus Laceleaf's stalker]]. Takes control of all the water in the vicinity, so firmly that he can't even control enough to make [[http://leifandthorn.com/comic/fish-story-2941/ a misguided attempt to placate her]], much less actually fight back.
* The Unknown Champion is introduced delivering one of these to a group that hunted her down in hopes of defeating her and ''eating her heart'' in ''Webcomic/UnknownLands''.
* This is the standard way a battle plays out in ''Webcomic/{{Sonichu}}'': Whichever side lands the first hit, more often than not, will be the side to land ''every'' hit of the battle until the other side can no longer fight.
* ''Webcomic/DaughterOfTheLilies'': When Master Wu [[{{Weredragon}} (in his dragon form)]] intervenes in the Brody fight, Brody is instantly overmatched. He breaks his teeth trying to bite Wu, gets a blast of dragon breath and just gives up.
* In ''Webcomic/ElGoonishShive'', [[spoiler:Pandora]] [[http://egscomics.com/comic/2018-01-08 kills]] every Aberration present and destroys "Scarf's" gun within the span of a moment.
--> '''Dan:''' When [[spoiler:an immortal of [[PhysicalGod Pandora's power]]]] actually pulls the metaphorical trigger, there are no punches thrown, no weapons drawn, no fire or lightning, not even a wave of a hand, or pointing of a finger. [[CriticalExistenceFailure The lives of their enemies are simply over]], [[spoiler:the immortal]] having seemingly done nothing, and the exact methods known only to them, [[spoiler: and every other immortal who has been forcibly burdened with the knowledge of what has just happened]].
* In ''Webcomic/AskWhitePearlAndStevenAlmostAnything'', Rose reveals who Steven (supposedly) is and intends to "free" White Pearl from his "control". The emotionally distraught Steven responds by unintentionally releases a OneHitKill AgonyBeam shockwave that poofs Garnet, Amethyst and Crystal Gems!Pearl instantly.
* In ''WebComic/YokokasQuest'', Hurricane breaks [[spoiler: Yokoka's sword, then proceeds to mauls her into a bloodied mess between pages]]. It probably would've gone a lot worse if [[spoiler: Grace hadn't teleported her out of the battle]].
* Round one of Willa vs. Titan in ''Webcomic/LatchkeyKingdom'' chapter "Titan". After [[LookBehindYou evading]] and [[ColossusClimb scaling]] the Titan, Willa manages to AttackItsWeakPoint -- at which point the Titan just [[NoSell No-Sells]] it and flicks her off.
* ''WebComic/KillSixBillionDemons'': Solomon David performs one in the TournamentArc of '' King of Swords''. He allows ''every single participant'' in the tournament to attack him at once, with the promise that any one who draws even a single drop of blood from him will be permitted any wish he's capable of fulfilling. He then uses his SupernaturalMartialArts to [[TimeStandsStill enter super-speed mode]] and kills everyone with a drawn weapon in less than a second. To any onlookers, one moment Solomon David is standing in the middle of a ring of approaching contestants, next moment [[https://killsixbilliondemons.com/comic/king-of-swords-10-136-to-10-136-ki-rata/ he's the eye of a tornado of blood]].
* In ''Webcomic/VapnthjofrSaga'' The weapon thief seemingly [[spoiler:curb-stomped an entire fortress off-screen.]]
* ''Webcomic/EnnuiGo'': Max, upon seeing two bullies pick on another student, decides to [[BullyHunter give them a beatdown]]. However, when he punches one of them, the bully is unfazed and proceeds to beat up Max.
* ''Webcomic/{{Outsider}}'': The main character gets a taste of just how badly humanity is outclassed in terms of weaponry when his ship, the 350-meters-long scout vessel ''Bellarmine'', is cut completely in two by one shot from an as-yet-unrevealed attacker, with each section then blasted to bits by another shot. Fortunately, he was thrown clear of the ship or he would've been killed with the rest of his crew.
