One MADtv skit referred to him as “former future movie star” and he is portrayed as being unable to get through a single line without breaking character, giggling, and shamelessly mugging for the camera. On Family Guy, Peter actually beat him up on live television for doing this, claiming he is NO Carol Burnett and he hasn’t earned the right to do that like she has. On one 30 Rock episode, Tracy accidentally breaks character and gets a laugh, so he then keeps doing it on purpose and even says OUT LOUD he’s doing it to get cheap laughs.

James Thomas Fallon (born September 19, 1974) is a charmingly boyish actor, comedian, and talk show host. Best known for his work on ''Series/SaturdayNightLive'', where he gained success at a young age but also garnered criticism for his shameless mugging and [[{{Corpsing}} cracking up on-camera]] during sketches (particularly those where he's partnered with Horatio Sanz), a fact that ''WesternAnimation/FamilyGuy'' pointed out on the episode "Don't Make Me Over" (who also [[HilariousInHindsight predicted that Fallon would be one of many former SNL cast members to come back and host an episode]]). His largest success on the show was as the co-anchor of "[[NewsParody Weekend Update]]" with Creator/TinaFey which showcased his strengths as a comedian.
