Christopher Nash Elliott is an American actor, comedian and writer. He won four Emmys as part of the writing team for ''Series/TheLateShowWithDavidLetterman''. As a performer, his television career includes the Fox sitcom ''Series/GetALife'', the Creator/AdultSwim comedy ''Series/{{Eagleheart}}'' and supporting roles on ''Series/EverybodyLovesRaymond'', ''Series/AccordingToJim'', ''Series/HowIMetYourMother'', ''Series/TheLastManOnEarth'' and ''Series/SchittsCreek''. He was also on ''Series/SaturdayNightLive'' for the infamous 1994-95 season (which he now considers an OldShame). He's also done a few animated roles, notably as the voice of Dogbert in the short-lived AnimatedAdaptation of ''WesternAnimation/{{Dilbert}}''.

His films include ''Film/TheAbyss'', ''Film/GroundhogDay'', ''Film/TheresSomethingAboutMary'' and two entries in the ''Film/ScaryMovie'' franchise. His only starring role in a movie was 1994's ''Film/CabinBoy''. The film was panned upon release but has since developed a minor cult following.

He is the son of comedian Bob Elliot (one half of Radio/BobAndRay) and the father of SNL cast member Creator/AbbyElliott.
