Bridget Hoffman is an American voice actress based in Los Angeles, known for her work in anime and video games since at least the late-90's. She has a smooth, mature-sounding voice that [[PigeonholedVoiceActor lands her pretty squarely in the role]] of a YamatoNadeshiko and/or ProperLady. Vocally, she's an Anglophone dead-ringer for Creator/KikukoInoue and has dubbed over Ms Inoue no fewer than four separate times although Ms Hoffman isn't known to (jokingly) lie about her age.

Bridget Hoffman can be considered the American equivalent of Creator/KikukoInoue because she has done 4 of her roles in English anime dubs. She is [[PigeonholedVoiceActor typecast]] as a YamatoNadeshiko and ProperLady just as Kikuko is as well. But she's much more consistent about her age, at least.

Despite all that though, her most well-known role is probably none other than TheStoic ActionGirl [=KOS-MOS=] of ''VideoGame/{{Xenosaga}}'' fame.

She has a whole bunch of aliases as well: Ruby Marlowe, Ellen Arden, Ellen Wilkinson, Jane Arden, Karen Woods, Serena Kolb, and Tessa Ariel.

She's also a Creator/SamRaimi regular, and notably, is the woman in the iconic poster for ''Film/TheEvilDead1981''.

A native Michigander, she's a Creator/SamRaimi regular and, notably, is the woman in the iconic poster for ''[[Film/TheEvilDead1981 The Evil Dead]]''.

She has often performs background voices in big Hollywood films, animated or not. Next time you watch a whole bunch big-budget animated movie (like Disney's stuff), check the "ADR Group" section deep in the credits roll; chances are her name will be there. She also occasionally pops up in small television roles.
