Accolade's 1990s move into the console game market resulted in their being sued by Creator/{{Sega}} for producing unlicensed game cartridges for the SegaGenesis (many of which were released under their Ballistic label). Accolade wound up winning the suit, but nevertheless became an official Sega licensee in 1993.
