Andy Reid is the human point-of-view character for most of the early issues, trying to survive the Decepticon invasion of Earth while also trying to find his dead friend DJ's girlfriend. Then he dies when Astrotrain attacks the subway station he and other humans are sheltered in, and none of his subplots ultimately mattered.
