Just removing stuff regarding the factions of Gods fighting each other, as it's no longer canon. Only The Pantheon Wars is canon with the game's lore following that.

* AdaptationalVillainy: Hel in the game usually had her SplitPersonality sadism PlayedForLaughs. In the comics, however, her dark side is played much more seriously and goes to side the third destructive faction due to . Her light side never got screen time.

Her light side never got screen time.and dark forms are essentially the same, giving her one sole personality, one obsessed with balance.

* AnyoneCanDie: spoiler:Zeus died at the first volume, then Mercury died next. And if the game's Odyssey 2018 is to be trusted, next in line to die is Chaac at the hands of Ares because he got in the way of hunting Anubis, whom Ares suspected as the murderer of Zeus.

In the end, Ares manages to kill Anubis.]]

* GreatOffscreenWar: The First War of the Gods was divided along pantheon lines before devolving into the current war.
* GreyAndGrayMorality: The Old Order of gods are not actually evil and have some justification for wanting to punish humanity.
* TheGoodTheBadAndTheEvil: The Elysian Uprising wish to protect humanity's right to worship whatever pantheon they want, the Old Order wishes for humans to return to the old ways and killing anyone who doesn't. A third group of unaffiliated gods just want to kill and cause chaos (though this fact comes from the game's lore.)

* HistoricalDomainCharacter: Creator/Homer appears telling Nassa about the gods.

* KillAllHumans: The Old Order seems to have picked this up.

* MultinationalTeam: Both the Old Order (who Hades, Anubis and Odin are among) and the Elysian Uprising (who Athena, Neith and Thor are among) are technically this.

Badass Mustache and Badass Beard were merged into Manly Facial Hair. Examples that don't fit or are zero-context are removed. Having facial hair is not enough to qualify. To qualify for Manly Facial Hair, the facial hair must be associated with manliness in some way. Please read the trope description before re-adding to make sure the example qualifies.

* ActionGirl: All of the goddesses are this.

Trope moved back to TLP as per this TRS thread.

* PostponedQuestion
** Why is Hermes being called Mercury, see AncientGrome above.
** Possibly with how Neith isn't freezing in a snow covered forest.

Creator/DarkHorseComics. Events of this comic became the basis for the game's Odyssey 2018, as well as the card game Hand of the Gods.

!!Smite provides examples of:

* ActionGirl: All of the goddesses are this.
* AdaptationalHeroism: Some of the gods drop their JerkAssGod tendencies from their respective myths. Justified, however, as they draw their power from worshippers
* AncientGrome: It's revealed in the comic that the Greco-Roman gods are known by IHaveManyNames different names in the borderlands between Asgard and Olympia, for example, Athena calls Mercury as Hermes, while his faithful in one of that borderlands call him as Mercury (his Roman name).
* AllMythsAreTrue: Just like the game. This is actually the cause of the first War of the Gods since the various pantheons were afraid of losing their followers to another pantheon.
* ApocalypseHow: The god battles are destroying the human realm.
* BadassBeard: Several of the gods have one.
* BigScrewedUpFamily: Every god is part of one. Since the various pantheons have split into factions and fighting each other, they've only gotten worse.
* CainAndAbel: helps orchestrate his brother murder
* CallForward: Or CallBack, depending on when Athena made Arachne what she is
-->Athena: I don't much care for spiders
* CreationMyth: Creator/Homer tells how many of the gods helped create the world.
* CrossoverCosmology: Much like the game.
* DivineConflict: The comic goes over the second one about whether humans should worship them or be free. The first was more straightforward and happens before the comic starts.
* EverybodyHatesHades: Hades .
* EyeOfHorusMeansEgypt: Ra's throne has a giant one.
* Fanservice: Many of the Gods don't wear armor, showing off their very sculpted bodies.
* GirlOnGirlIsHot:
-->Athena: (to Neith) Shall we dance all night? I'd rather get straight to it
-->Mercury: I'd like to see that
* GreatOffscreenWar: The First War of the Gods was divided along pantheon lines before devolving into the current war.
* HeroKiller: Loki kills
* HistoricalDomainCharacter: Creator/Homer appears telling Nassa about the gods.
* IHaveManyNames: See AncientGrome above.
* KillAllHumans: The Old Order seems to have picked this up.
* TheKingslayer: [[spoiler:Loki kills Zeus]], presumably more instances like this will likely appear due to the nature of this franchise.
* MaleGaze: Made hilarious with Athena when she notices Mercury staring at Neith.
-->"Oh, act like you've seen a woman before."
* MultinationalTeam: Both the Old Order (who Hades, Anubis and Odin are among) and the Elysian Uprising (who Athena, Neith and Thor are among) are technically this.
* PostponedQuestion

* ShipTease: There's a brief one between [[spoiler:Neith and Mercury]]
* TitleDrop:
-->Loki: And you would, what... smite as many gods as you could before death?\\
Athena: If you would smite the evil that befalls your world--
* YouKilledMyFather: towards .
-->: You murdered my father and my friend!
