''Relative Heroes'' is a six issue limited ComicBook Creator/DCComics series published in 2000. It was written by Devon Grayson, with artwork by Yvel Guichet, Aaron Sowd and Mark Propst.

Relative Heroes follows the newly orphaned Weinberg children, Joel, Cameron, Tyson and Aviva, and Aviva's babysitter Damara Sinclair as they travel across the country from Berkley to Metropolis in their parent's Winnebago to ask if ComicBook/{{Superman}} can somehow save their parents. The Weinbergs are chased by Social Services and, to their surprise, the D.E.O., various law enforcement agencies and a member of the Greek pantheon. They quickly learn that Damara had more compelling reasons to run away from home than wanting to support their efforts to revive their parents, and that their adoptive brother Cameron has a more complicated past than any of them would have guessed.

!!''Relative Heroes'' provides examples of:

* ActionGirl: Both Temper and Allure are handy in a fight despite their entirely civilian backgrounds.
* AdoptedToTheHouse: Well, adopted to the Winnebago. The Weinbergs welcome the runaway Damara to join them as they go on a road trip fleeing the authorities.
* AdultsAreUseless: They don't consider ''all'' adults to be useless seeing as they're traveling across the country to ask one a favor but they have a lot of trouble with most of the adults they come across in the series.
* AmbiguouslyBrown: The antagonist Kittyhawk. Her brother Napalm doesn't help matters as his skin is a metallic gold color.
* AntagonisticOffspring: Damara is not pleased about the deal her mother made with a Greek god, and [[spoiler:"Cameron" finds himself opposed to his parents' entire race when they show up as antagonists invading the earth]].
* AllYourPowersCombined: Cameron can copy the powers of everyone within his range, which makes it convenient for him to be traveling with a group that contains three meta-humans.
* ArrangedMarriage: Calandra Danners arranged for her infant daughter Damara to receive supernatural good looks and other "charms" from Eryx in exchange for Damara's hand in marriage on her seventeenth birthday.
* TheBabyOfTheBunch: Aviva really is the baby sister of most of group and they all treat her accordingly.
* BigBrotherInstinct: Joel is protective of all his siblings wether adoptive or biological.
* BishieSparkle: Allure is always surrounded by small multicolored sparkles as a side effect of her "charm".
* BlessedWithSuck: None of the kids that have powers actually like them, Tyson feels ignored and the ability to turn invisible does not help, Aviva has a violent temper and has to worry about her potentially fatal powers acting up when she's upset, Damara never knows who likes her for herself instead of her "charm" and has the concern of how her abilities that she has no control over effect the way those around her act, and Cameron is ambivalent about his power copying.
* CleavageWindow: Allure's costume has two though one is too high to really show any cleavage the other gives a gratuitous shot of underboobs, making it rather obvious the thing was a gift from the same individual who bestowed her "charm". Technically she's wearing another layer underneath the one with the cutouts but it's always drawn as so transparent and vacuumed to her form that it's usually difficult to tell.
* CompellingVoice: Part of Allure's power set includes a mild compelling ability.
* TheDogIsAnAlien: Surprise, [[spoiler:Cameron's plant he named Chloe is not a plant at all but one of the Es who landed on earth alongside him and after thinking plants were the dominant life form chose their appearance. She eventually is able to change her appearance to humanoid]].
* DontSplitUsUp: The original reason the siblings decided to avoid authorities, they knew they wouldn't be able to stay together especially since those with powers are more work for a potential new family so they're not going to take in ''three'' of them.
* EmotionBomb: Those in Allure's presence are enamored with her.
* EveryonesBabySister: Aviva is the baby sister of her team as it's made up of her siblings and her babysitter. When the Weinbergs help with the invasion of Zandia several members of ComicBook/YoungJustice help make sure to keep her out of the line of fire or at least behind forcefields and bulletproof individuals since she is incredibly young for a superhero, even when compared to the rest of the group which is almost entirely made up of teenagers.
* FormFittingWardrobe: The whole team's super suits, though most notably Allure's skin tight under-layer
* AFormYouAreComfortableWith: [[spoiler:Cameron learns that this is what his human appearance is]], he chose a human form because they seemed to be the dominant life form on the planet and therefore he wanted to look like one to interact with them.
* GirlishPigtails: Young Aviva usually keeps her hair in twintails.
* {{Glamour}}: Essentially what Allure's power is.
* HappilyAdopted: Cameron and Tyson before Oren and Deborah's deaths.
* HomelessHero: The Weinberg kids are on the road and on the run.
* IJustWantToBeSpecial: Joel is the only member of the team that actually wants to be a traditional superhero and is also the only one without any powers whatsoever.
* ImpossiblyCoolClothes: Blindside has sleeves that are essentially strips of cloth stretched from his shoulder to wrist which should just flap in the breeze rather than fit to the side of his arm like they actually do. The only possible explanations are that he's using his invisibility abilities on part of his sleeves at all times or it's a side effect of the outfit's mystical origin .
* ImpracticallyFancyOutfit: Allure wears a multilayered costume that includes a floor-length dress, multiple fluttery sleeves and two cleavage windows for fighting in which should get caught on things and get in her way all the time.
* {{Invisibility}}: Tyson can turn invisible.
* LivingAphrodisiac: The heroine Allure has this power though she cannot control the desire she inspires in others.
* LoopholeAbuse: Damara is able to get out of her engagement to Eryx by exploiting the exact words of the deal her mother made with him.
* MagicContractRomance: Eryx enchanted Damara in return for her hand in marriage.
* MonochromaticEyes: Antagonists Kittyhawk and Napalm have solid white eyes.
* MostCommonSuperPower: When you give a Greek god influence over their future wife's appearance it's only to be expected.
* {{Pheromones}}: Damara has mystical magic pheromones which make her seem irresistibly attractive.
* PinkMeansFeminine: Temper's super-suit is pink and white and the antagonist Kittyhawk has a pink and black suit with a pink helmet and pink cape.
* PowerCopying: Omni can copy the powers of those in his vicinity.
* PromotionToParent: Joel following his parents's deaths.
* RapunzelHair: Allure's constantly tangle free hair reaches mid-thigh as an extension of her femininity enhancing "charm".
* TheRunaway: A bunch of newly orphaned siblings and a babysitter take their parent's RV on a trip across the country to avoid having child services split them up.
* RunAwayHideAway: The kids have a mobile one in the RV and eventually work their way to their grandfather.
* SeeksAnothersResurrection: The siblings are seeking out Superman to see if they can somehow revive their dead parents Oren and Deborah.
* SensualSpandex: The under layer of Allure's super suit that the over layers have cutouts to is skintight and transparent.
* ShockAndAwe: Temper has electrokinesis.
* SiblingTeam: The only member of the team that's not a sibling is Allure.
* SuperCuteSuperPowers: Allure's powers manifest by giving her sparkles, making her hair float in a non-existent breeze and giving her a pink aura.
* SuperFamilyTeam: A family of metahuman superheroes, and the superpowered babysitter of the youngest member.
* SuperheroesWearTights: Despite being an undead ancient Olympian Eryx seems to be aware of this as the costumes he magics up for the group are all form fitting spandex numbers, though Allure gets a layer over her tights.
* SuperpowerfulGenetics: Tyson has the ability to turn invisible and thinks he's decedent from the Golden Age hero the Invisible Hood, though that character's invisibility was due to a mixture he soaked his outfit in.
* TeamTitle: Relative Heroes.
* TokenMinority: Tyson is African American while the rest of the kids appear to have European ancestry, although the other adopted Weinberg Cameron has a last name that is a common surname in some American Indian tribes he turns out to actually [[spoiler:be extraterrestrial in origin]].
* TomatoInTheMirror: [[spoiler:Cameron learns he is not human, rather being a member of the extraterrestrial race the Es]].
* TwoGirlsToATeam: Allure and Temper are the two girls on the five person team.
* UnpleasantParentReveal: Allure suffered one which caused her to join the Weinbergs on their road trip.
* YouCantGoHomeAgain: The Weinbergs' parents are dead and they had to leave home to avoid having Social Services split them up as it places them in new homes.
