[[folder:Sayoko Minase]]

A schoolgirl from the Amano-Mihashira Academy City, she asks Kuroumaru to help Santa because the latter is unaware of the fact that he is dead. In truth, she's a necromancer that revived Santa and is the one behind the murders in Mahora.
----
* AdaptedOut: She and the arc surrounding both her and Santa are completely omitted from the anime.
* AlasPoorVillain: When the time arrives for Sayoko to fade away, Santa weeps for her because even though she was an insane {{Yandere}} who tried to commit omnicide, she was the girl he liked.
* ArcVillain: The true antagonist for Santa's recruitment arc, after which we don't see her.
* AxCrazy: She's a deranged psycho who murders her victims in gruesome ways. Turns out hosting thousands of evil spirits has destroyed her sanity.
* BathroomStallOfAngst: Santa first met her when he found her crying in a bathroom stall of the OldSchoolBuilding.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Her attachment to Santa originates from how he wasn't afraid to approach her and become her friend.
* BodyHorror: Kuroumaru [[HalfTheManHeUsedToBe cuts her in half]], along with her [[AnArmAndALeg left arm]], with a technique made to bifurcate ghosts without harming those they possess, but Sayoko simply uses the miasma in the atmosphere to turn the missing parts of her body into [[SpiderPeople monstrous, spider-like legs]] and [[MultiArmedAndDangerous multiple]] CreepilyLongArms. Kuroumaru can only describe that transformation as an abomination. She changes them into normal-looking jet-black limbs when she realizes Santa is watching her. During her fight with Santa, the lower half of her body degenerates into a grotesque BlobMonster-like mass growing tentacles with {{Lamprey Mouth}}s.
* BullyHunter: In every of her murders, she always targeted privileged students who abused their power and bullied others. When Karin confronts her, Sayoko claims she only kills scumbags that are basically asking to be killed. That's until her short time left and the influence of thousands of evil spirits push her into going full-on OmnicidalManiac.
* CreateYourOwnHero: She empowered Santa originally, and he ends up being the one who managed to stop her in the end.
* CreepyShadowedUndereyes: She gets dark circles around her eyes when she's under the influence of evil spirits.
* CryCute: The moments where she breaks away from psycho mode have her crying in such a cute way that you could forget she's a mass-murderer.
* CuteAndPsycho: She can smile like a sweet girl one minute and go full-on homicidal maniac the next. Santa feels conflicted by this because he's attracted to Sayoko's cute side, but finds her psycho side terrifying. Before Sayoko vanishes, Santa figures out her cute personality was an act, but turns out he still likes her when she's scary.
* DarkActionGirl: Within the span of Santa's introductory arc, Sayoko zombified most of the campus, and used various clever tactics to ensure a swift victory over Touta, Kuroumaru, Ikkuu and Kirie.
* DarkIsEvil: Not only is she a {{necromancer}} so potent she can turn nearly the entire campus into ghouls, but it's also clear her motives are far less savoury than she suggests to Santa.
* DatingCatwoman: She loves Santa very much and he cannot help to still have feelings for her even though he finds what she does horrifying and agrees she must be stopped at all costs.
* DiedInYourArmsTonight: After Santa releases her from the control of the evil spirits, Sayoko DisappearsIntoLight in his arms. She's briefly brought back by Kirie's reset power so she can say goodbye to Santa while in her right mind.
* DisappearsIntoLight: She vanishes in a rain of flower petals.
* DullEyesOfUnhappiness: All shine disappears from her eyes whenever the corrupted souls take control over her.
* DyingAsYourself: She dies happy once Santa succeeds in talking her back to her senses, as she is now freed of all those hateful spirits.
* DyingDeclarationOfLove: Before passing on, she tells Santa that she loved him.
* EvenEvilCanBeLoved: Santa deeply cares about Sayoko despite her sheer madness and ambitions of omnicide, as he can understand the cruelty of humankind made Sayoko into an insane monster.
* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: She's a nutjob who wants to get rid of all the scum of the Earth indiscriminately, but her attachment to Santa is the real deal.
* EvilWearsBlack: She dresses in a black SailorFuku, is the SerialKiller that has been targeting students at the academy for about 80 years and later attempts to destroy the world with a ZombieApocalypse.
* ExorcistHead: Her head turns 360 degrees as she recites a MadnessMantra when talking to Santa.
* FauxAffablyEvil: She puts on a charming demeanor and speaks politely when addressing the Numbers, but she's a totally AxCrazy psycho who starts a ZombieApocalypse to kill everyone on Earth.
* FlowerInHerHair: She has a headband with flowers decorating her hair.
* FromNobodyToNightmare: It seems she was a regular girl with some talent for magic. Then she died somehow and returned as a VengefulGhost to kill bullies, becoming the host of thousands of evil spirits to obtain more power. Now, she's horror personified.
* GoOutWithASmile: She smiles happily as she bids her final goodbye to Santa before passing on to the afterlife.
* GoryDiscretionShot: Whatever she did to Santa's killers was so bad he ran away and she had to change his memories. We are not allowed to see this.
* GracefulLoser: After Santa manages to stop her and Kirie turns back time to undo the ZombieApocalypse, Sayoko dignifiedly accepts her defeat and leaves to the afterlife without causing more trouble (although not without pretending to start the apocalypse all over again as a joke).
* HumanoidAbomination: She was human once and still looks like it most of the time. Her current self, however, is practically nothing but the representation of countless corrupted souls.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: A rather dark take on it. She goes after Santa's killers and does [[TakeOurWordForIt something]] to them, but leaves them alive for Santa to finish them off. Instead of being happy about her "gift", Santa runs away from her and asks her to erase him, now thinking of her as a crazy monster.
* {{Intangibility}}: As a ghost like Santa, she also has the ability to make herself and anyone she touches intangible. This is how she murdered all the students by [[CruelAndUnusualDeath phasing their bodies through concrete and making them fuse with it]].
* KnightOfCerebus: While the series started out somewhat bloodier than its predecessor, she ramped up the threat and violence level.
* ManySpiritsInsideOfOne: She is classified by Karin as an "Onryou", a vengeful god-like being who has become an amalgam of the spirits of at least 340,000 people who died in torment. Her original personality is all but gone as a result. [[ThePowerOfHate All that is left is the hate]].
* MaskOfSanity: She tries her best to appear sane and understanding in front of Santa, even though the latter becomes increasingly terrified by the amount of chaos she causes.
* MemoryWipingCrew: After a very bad fallout, she altered all of Santa's memories of their meeting and his death.
* MysteriousPast: Whatever her past was before she met Santa is a complete mystery. All we get is Karin speculating that Sayoko was a young girl with an affinity for magic who died somehow and became the vessel for thousands of evil spirits.
* {{Necromancer}}: She identifies herself as one, and has in fact used her powers to revive Santa after the latter committed suicide. She also turns most of the campus into ghouls following her reveal, and the end of Chapter 55 has a news channel announce that various parts of the world have been infected as well. Later in the series, Ku:Nel and Dana comment on the fact that Santa was made so well that she must have been among the best in the world.
* NonhumanLoverReveal: She didn't tell Santa that she was a ghost until he died and she made him into a ghost too. Santa was actually happy about it because if both were ghosts, they could be together forever.
* OmnicidalManiac: She unleashes a world-wide ZombieApocalypse to destroy all of humanity.
* PeoplePuppets: She bites Kirie to make sure she's under her control, at one time talking in unison. Then, when Touta and Kuroumaru try to attack her together, she reveals that she developed a particular strand of hair that zombifies an immortal like Kuroumaru, stabbing Touta in the process.
* PleaseDontLeaveMe: Santa ran away from her and asked her to erase him after she did [[GoryDiscretionShot something horrifying]] to his murderers. Sayoko begged him to stay with her because she wouldn't bear to spend the last few years she had left all alone, but Santa still wanted to disappear. Not wanting to erase Santa, Sayoko altered his memories so he would forget about his own death.
* PoisonousFriend: She will make sure anyone who threatens or hurts her dear Santa pays for it. Taken UpToEleven when she unleashes a ZombieApocalypse to destroy the world that allowed Santa to die so tragically since that's what he said he wanted (even though he clearly wasn't in his right mind at the moment).
* PrehensileHair: She can freely manipulate the growth and movement of her hair, using it to immobilize and attack her enemies.
* SatelliteLoveInterest: Her character is entirely linked to Santa and his backstory. She exited the plot as soon as Santa's story arc was over.
* SchoolUniformsAreTheNewBlack: She's always seen wearing a SailorFuku.
* SerialKiller: She's the one behind the series of murders on the campus for the past 80 years.
* ShadowArchetype: Sayoko is essentially what Santa would be if he took his hatred of bullying and social inequality to the most gruesome extreme possible.
* SlasherSmile: As much as killing intent as she possesses, her expression appropriately contorts into a psychotic grin whenever she's in control of the situation.
* StepfordSmiler: The mentally unstable type. She often has a smile in her face when she's completely insane and murderous.
* StringyHairedGhostGirl: A variation. Sayoko is clearly meant to be an onryou-type ghost, but her hair doesn't obscure her face which lets her pass off as a CuteGhostGirl when not in psycho mode. That said, her thirst for revenge and bloodlust are still something to be greatly feared.
* SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum: Sayoko feels sick at all the injustice and suffering in the world. Knowing she will vanish soon anyway, she attempts to wipe out Earth's population with a global ZombieApocalypse.
* ThisIsUnforgivable: She made clear she wouldn't let Santa's bullies get away with the crime of murdering him. When she caught them, she did something so horrifying to them that [[TakeOurWordForIt we aren't allowed to see it]].
* TooPowerfulToLive: She managed to bypass Karin's immortality with mental attacks and then bury her 1000 meters below ground, rip Ikkuu apart, infect Kirie and Kuroumaru, and keep Touta down for an extended period of time. Had she not been stopped by Santa at the end of their arc, Sayoko would've carried on the infection of the entire world. No wonder she was offed as soon as her arc was over.
* {{Troll}}: After Santa manages to stop her and time gets rewinded by Kirie, Sayoko makes it look like she's going to start the ZombieApocalypse all over again. As everyone is freaking out, Sayoko goes "Just kidding!" and leaves to the afterlife.
* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: Horrifically so. She mutilated Santa's bullies after they killed him and wants to eliminate anyone who tries to hurt him. Even Santa is freaked out by her protective efforts.
* WalkingSpoiler: Talking about her role in the school arc is difficult since [[RedHerring we were led to believe that Santa was the serial killer]].
* WingedHumanoid: When fighting, she turns several strands of her hair into pitch-black wings in order to fly around.
* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: Sayoko apparently used something like a downgraded version of the Life-Maker's Resonance to gather power from thousands of evil spirits and make herself into a god-class VengefulGhost. In exchange, her mind has been completely consumed by the hatred of the spirits and there's probably nothing of her original self left.
* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: Her mind and spirit were utterly broken by carrying the hatred and suffering of thousands of tormented human souls. Since she's screwed anyway, Sayoko unleashes a ZombieApocalypse into the world to bring everyone down with her.
* {{Yandere}}: A grossly exaggerated example towards Santa. Despite her methods, she's quite dedicated to him, basing many of her whims on Santa's condition; when she thinks Santa is being mistreated at school ever since he got resurrected, she slowly started hating the world, and when he himself started loathing the campus for shunning him, Sayoko begins a sinister plan to infect the rest of the world, with the rationale that [[BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor this is what Santa wished for]].
* YourDaysAreNumbered: She states several times that her time is running out for some reason. So, she decides to take the whole world down with her before she vanishes.
* ZettaiRyouiki: She wears black thigh high stockings with her school uniform.

[[folder:Gravity Blade / Kurobo]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/RyotaTakeuchi (JP)

The Gravity Blade created by Albireo Imma. It is found by Touta in the underground cave beneath UQ Holder's headquarters.
----
* BlackSwordsAreBetter: Its blade is colored black.
* CoolSword: The Gravity Blade is a black katana that is able to alter the effect gravity has on it. It can be rendered completely weightless for effortless wielding, or it can increase its own mass to insane levels, giving it enormous striking power. The highest setting Touta has used thus far is the "10,000x" gravity multiplier, giving the sword an apparent weight of 500 tons. It was created by Albireo Imma, a master of gravity magic.
* EmbarrassingNickname: It doesn't like the name "Kurobo/Sidestick" given to it by Touta.
* ExcaliburInTheStone: Parodied. Touta finds it impaled in a stone at what looks like Albireo Imma's old residence. Jinbei stated the sword belonged to any who could pull it out, but no one has been able to. Turns out the sword has a weight-modifying dial that had been set to several tons. Touta just has to turn it back down, and the sword slides right out.
* GravityMaster: It can manipulate gravity to change its weight according to its dial.
* ICallItVera: Touta names the Gravity Blade Kurobo after he learns it can talk.
* KatanasAreJustBetter: It's a katana.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Touta nicknames the Gravity Blade "Kurobo/Sidestick" the moment he learns it can talk. The Gravity Blade claims to have a formal name, but Touta isn't interested in hearing it.
* TalkingWeapon: After over 50 chapters of being wielded by Touta, the sword turns out to be capable of speech, but doesn't reveal this until Touta is speaking to it when nobody else is around. In the anime, however, Touta finds it because he heard it talk.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Laszlo / Afro the Forever]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/KenjiroTsuda (JP)

A junk shop owner and participant of the Mahora Martial Arts Tournament Preliminaries, he tries to recruit Touta into his team.
----
* DemotedToExtra: His role in the anime is reduced to a {{cameo}} in the final episodes.
* FunnyAfro: A big poofy one.
* HiddenDepths: He first appears a bit ungrateful and manipulative in dealing with Touta, but he turns out to be able to peg Touta as a runaway in a glance and only wants to win the tournament to prove the effectiveness of his friend's magic apps.
* KillSteal: How he and Touta met. Touta accidentally intervened to save him while he was in a preliminary fight, taking all the points he could have gotten.
* PowersAsPrograms: He not only uses, but develops Magic Apps.
* RedOniBlueOni: The loud and braggart red to Ray's friendly blue.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ray Chikage]]

A magic app developer, who runs the junk shop with Afro.
----
* AdaptedOut: He didn't get to appear in the anime.
* DarkSkinnedBlond: His skin is noticeably tan and his hair is noticeably light.
* GeniusCripple: He's bound to a wheelchair, and Afro praises him as being much more talented at developing the apps Afro uses.
* RedOniBlueOni: The sociable and collected blue to Afro's brash red.
* SupremeChef: He's a decent cook if his stew is anything to go by.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kitty]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/YukiMatsuoka (JP), Shanae'a Moore (EN)

A younger version of Yukihime Touta meets when training under Dana. She comes from the time where Evangeline had just recently been made an immortal vampire and Dana took her to her castle to train her.
----
* AdaptedOut: She doesn't appear in the anime as a result of Dana's training arc being omitted. Most of her meetings with Touta were adapted into a non-serial OVA, though.
* AffectionateNickname: Dana and Touta call her "Kitty". It apparently was her mother's pet name for her.
* BeautifulDreamer: Touta blushes as he contemplates Kitty's sleeping face.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Touta was the first person who treated her with kindness ever since the Life-Maker turned her into an immortal and his words of encouragement helped her find the will to live. He became her FirstLove and she wanted to see him again no matter how many years passed for her.
* BeingEvilSucks: She becomes the universally hated Demon Queen after she continually massacred the enemies she attracted to herself. And she hates herself for it. Touta even points out she's acting like a pathetic loser instead of a great villainess.
* BreakTheCutie: Touta gave her the courage to have hope in her future again. 287 years of having to [[KillingInSelfDefense kill people in self-defense]] drove her to despair again.
* BrokenBird: She was orphaned and wandered starving in the cold until Dana picked her up. It's unsurprising that Kitty believes her future holds nothing but despair. She temporarily recovers thanks to Touta's pep talk. 287 years later, Kitty is even more miserable than before as the result of becoming a persecuted mass murderer.
* BullyingADragon: How she became TheDreaded. Because of the Life-Maker's experiments and Dana's TrainingFromHell, Kitty was made into an uber-powerful immortal mage. After she freed a town from the control of some evil mages, people started persecuting Kitty because NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished and any person who attacked her got killed by her. Nobody seemed to learn it was a terrible idea to mess with Kitty and this went on for centuries. As Dana pointed out, Kitty's torment would have ended if she hasn't been too powerful for anyone to kill her.
* CryCute: She tearfully asks Touta to not make her wait for them to meet again, knowing several years will pass for her before she can see him again.
* DefrostingIceQueen: While she initially tries to keep her distance from Touta, she opens up to him as they interact.
* DoNotCallMePaul: She doesn't appear to like being called Evangeline and only gives Touta permission to call her "Kitty".
* DoesNotLikeShoes: She's barefoot the first few times Touta meets with her, but she shows up wearing shoes later.
* DontYouDarePityMe: When Touta peeks at her sad memories by accident, Kitty gets so pissed that she physically attacks him and runs away from him, telling him she doesn't want his pity.
* EvilWearsBlack: {{Invoked|Trope}}. During her final meeting with Touta, she wears a gothic black dress to fit the image of the evil Demon Queen she built for herself after she killed countless people (even if she did it because they tried to kill her first).
* FirstLove: She and Touta become this to each other through a convoluted TimeTravelRomance.
* TheFogOfAges: She completely forgot all about Touta and their promise to meet again after 287 years of killing the people hunting her down. She does remember everything when Touta goes to see her in the past.
* GoodGirlGoneBad: She starts off as a good-hearted and sweet girl who helps Touta with his training. Then she made herself into the enemy of the magic society and began killing anyone who attacked her, which only earned her more and more enemies. A few hundreds of years later, she has become an infamous villainess and a shell of her former self.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: She's an even better example than her present-day self, being far younger, more openly helpful and less distant while also having Eva/Yukihime's extremely long blonde hair.
* HairReboot: When an assassin cuts off her head, her hair grows back to its original length once she reattaches her head.
* HorrorHunger: As a (fake) vampire, she gets cravings for blood, as seen when she sucks Touta's blood out of hunger. When he sees her do this, Touta wonders why he never gets the urge to drink blood.
* IAmAMonster: She thinks the treatment she gets as the evil Demon Queen is all well-deserved since she never stopped killing those who attacked her and ended up creating her own hell as a result.
* IWillWaitForYou: Every time Touta met with her, Kitty had to wait several years for the next chance to see him again due to the time intervals at Dana's castle being so random. For their final meeting, she promises to wait 287 years for Touta to finish Dana's trial in four days just so they could see each other one more time. Although Kitty [[TheFogOfAges forgot about their promise after so many years passed for her,]] she remembered it the moment Touta literally punched his way into the past to see her. Sadly, they couldn't have a happy reunion because Kitty was [[TheseHandsHaveKilled too ashamed of her murderous actions as the Demon Queen to face Touta]]. After he was forced to leave the past, Kitty apparently spent the following centuries waiting for her next chance to see Touta again.
* AnIcePerson: As expected from a younger Yukihime, Kitty is an ice mage.
* InnocentBlueEyes: She's still young, inexperienced, and not yet as cynical as her also blue-eyed present-day self. That is until she becomes the Demon Queen.
* KidFromTheFuture: Inverted. Because Dana's castle is a PlaceBeyondTime, Kitty keeps running into Touta, unaware that he's her foster son from the future. It only gets weirder when they find themselves in a peculiar TimeTravelRomance.
* KillItWithIce: When some assassins come after her, Kitty uses a spell that freezes their bodies solid and then has them [[LiterallyShatteredLives explode into ice shards]].
* KillingInSelfDefense: Kitty killed many people in the 287 years she was separated from Touta, but they all kind of asked for it by picking a fight with her first.
* MarionetteMaster: She already knows some doll magic, as seen when she performs a dance show with an inanimate Chachazero. Later on, she can control a small army of human-sized dolls.
* MerlinAndNimue: She helps Touta control the ki and mana inside him. Touta falls in love with Kitty and due to [[TimeyWimeyBall time travel,]] he becomes Eva's FirstLove.
* MsExposition: She informs Touta that he's some sort of [[OurHomunculiAreDifferent homunculus]] with the power of Magia Erebea and Magic Cancel inside his body. She also explains his training with hula hoops will help him bring out the two {{Mutually Exclusive Magic}}s inside him and teaches him about kanka so he can get off his TrainingFromHell more easily.
* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: When Touta sees how she's doing 287 years later, Kitty has become TheDreaded with many enemies hunting her down. According to Dana, Kitty freed a town from the control of a group of evil mages. That earned her quite a few enemies who tried to kill her. With every one she [[KillingInSelfDefense killed in self-defense]], more and more swore vengeance against her.
* AnOddPlaceToSleep: Touta one time finds Kitty sleeping on a railing at Dana's floating castle.
* OlderThanSheLooks: She's 16 when Touta first meets her and keeps getting older every time Touta sees her again, but it's hard to notice because she always looks like a ten-year-old.
* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Touta and Dana only call her Kitty and her real name Evangeline is used just once in one of her flashbacks. This is to differentiate her from her present-day self.
* PerspectiveFlip: Her OVA shows her meetings with Touta from her point-of-view.
* RapunzelHair: Her hair is as long as she is tall.
* RedBaron: After a few centuries of murdering hundreds in [[KillingInSelfDefense self-defense]], people started calling her "Demon Queen".
* RelativelyFlimsyExcuse: Kitty lies to Touta by claiming to be a distant relative of the Evangeline he knows. Touta realizes Kitty really is Evangeline from 700 years in the past when he spies on her memories by accident.
* SatelliteLoveInterest: She only appears in one arc where the main focus is on the TimeTravelRomance between her and Touta. She never even interacts with any other characters aside from Touta because her single function is to influence and be influenced by him.
* ShanaClone: An eternally ten-year-old little girl with blonde RapunzelHair who gets {{Tsundere}} around the protagonist and becomes his LoveInterest.
* SheCleansUpNicely: The first time Touta sees her, she's wearing nothing but a ragged cloak. She later discards it for a fancy dress and Touta says she looks cute in it.
* SpiritAdvisor: She leaves a mental copy of herself inside Touta's mind so she can give him advice to figure out how to properly use Magia Erebea.
* StepfordSmiler: When Touta sees her as the Demon Queen, Kitty forces herself to look happy about their reunion despite obviously being miserable at the moment. Touta hates how fake her smile is.
* StreetPerformer: She says she made a living as a street dancer while she was on the run.
* SympatheticMurderer: When Touta watches her [[KillItWithIce brutally freezing and shattering her attackers into pieces]], the one who looks the most miserable is Kitty. She obviously hates the things she has to do to defend herself from the enemies she has earned through the centuries.
* TheseHandsHaveKilled: She couldn't bare to face Touta after he sees her in the middle of her reign as "Demon Queen" due to the massive amount of death and destruction she caused.
-->'''Kitty:''' I've killed too many people. I will never be forgiven.
* ThroughHisStomach: She prepares a feast for Touta to express her gratitude to him for encouraging her to live on.
* TimeTravelRomance: She keeps meeting with Touta during his training at Dana's extradimensional castle and the two fall for each other. She later figures out he comes from a different time period from her and is saddened by the fact they cannot be together like that. For {{Squick}} side effect, Kitty crushed on Touta unaware that he's her [[KidFromTheFuture future adopted son]].
* TookALevelInBadass: She's fairly weak when Dana has just brought her to the castle. As years pass and she trains, Kitty grows stronger until she reaches the all-powerful level her present-day self is known for.
* {{Tsundere}}: She acts unfriendly around Touta at first because she thinks she shouldn't accept anyone's help. Once he befriends her, Kitty becomes nicer and helps him out a lot.
* UnlimitedWardrobe: She's seen in a different dress in every of her encounters with Touta.
* VampireDance: She performs a little ballet show for Touta who is so entranced by it that he thinks Kitty looks like an angel instead of a vampire.
* WhoWantsToLiveForever: Kitty claims her life has been a never-ending nightmare ever since she was made immortal. She outright tells Touta the best thing he could do to help her is to kill her. Touta instead tells her that many good things will happen to her if she lives long enough, which motivates Kitty to try and enjoy her immortality. 287 years of massacring her enemies once again convinces Kitty that being immortal is an eternal hell.

!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/TakehitoKoyasu (Japanese), Alan Brincks (English)

Touta's great-grandfather and Negi's father. Yukihime was in love with him and he was responsible for trapping her inside Mahora during ''Negima''.
----
* DemonicPossession: He was the Mage of the Beginning's host before Negi. He's freed from her control in both timelines, but ended up dead in the one without Asuna.
* HasAType: In the timeline with Asuna, Nagi gets remarried to Eva who is a blonde {{Tsundere}} with [[HeroWithBadPublicity a misconceived criminal reputation]] like his first wife Arika.
* MayflyDecemberRomance: The immortal (fake) vampire Eva had a crush on Nagi, a mortal man about 700 years younger than her. The feeling didn't appear to be mutual, but they got married at some point in the timeline with Asuna. Still, Eva most definitely will outlive Nagi unless he also becomes immortal.
* OffscreenRomance: According to a picture from the timeline A Prime, Eva and Nagi got married there. Like Negi and Chisame, it's never shown or explained how that came to be. The marriage is especially strange in this case because Nagi only ever seemed annoyed by Eva's stalking, so one has to wonder what changed his mind so drastically.
* PosthumousCharacter: He's long dead in the timeline where ''UQ Holder'' takes place.
* ReplacementGoldfish: Retroactively. It seems Yukihime felt attracted to Nagi because of his similarities to his great-grandson Touta, who she fell for hundreds of years before Nagi because of TimeTravel shenanigans.
* SecondLove: Contrary to what was initially believed, Nagi was actually the second man Eva ever loved. Before him, there was Touta, his great-grandson from the future. A picture from the timeline where Asuna is around shows Eva becomes Nagi's second wife there. [[WhatHappenedToTheMouse It's never mentioned what happened to Nagi's first wife Arika.]] Meanwhile in the timeline with no Asuna, Nagi couldn't be saved and Eva moved on from Nagi to Negi. Eva thinks it's ridiculous that another version of her managed to get Nagi.
* TeacherParentRomance: Eva was Nagi's son's magic teacher and she was in love with Nagi. Although, he never seemed interested in her that way and trapped her inside Mahora just to put a stop to her stalking. According to Dana, however, Nagi married Eva in the timeline A Prime.
* UnexplainedRecovery: Negi rips his heart out to get the Life-Maker out of his body. In the timeline A Prime, Nagi inexplicably survives by a miracle and fully recovers a couple of years later. That timeline's Fate and Dana have a hunch the Life-Maker may have something to do with it. Nagi wasn't so lucky in the Asuna-less timeline, though.
* WalkingSpoiler: It's difficult to talk about his role in ''UQ Holder'' without giving away his fate in both timelines.

The perverted ermine who was once Negi's sidekick. He comes back now with the form of a mustached old man.
----
* BlackBeadEyes: He has a pair of black dots for eyes even in his human form.
* CoolOldGuy: While still a panty-stealing pervert, this elderly Chamo is an amicable fellow.
* DirtyOldMan: Old age didn't make any less of a pervert at all.
* HighClassGlass: He wears a monocle now he's in elderly age.
* HumanityEnsues: He now spends most of the time in the form of an old man, only going back to his true ermine form occasionally.
* ImpossibleTheft: At some point, he mastered Rakan's skill for stealing a girl's panties while she's wearing them.
* LovableSexManiac: He's still the same DirtyOldMan obsessed with female underwear and his perverted antics are played for comedy like before.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: His human form's design stands out as more skinny-looking, big-nosed and cartoonish next to the rest of the cast.
* PantyThief: The first thing he does when he's reintroduced is to steal the panties of all the girls in Touta's harem.

Turns out hosting thousands of evil spirits has destroyed her sanity.\n* BathroomStallOfAngst: Santa first met her when he found her crying in a bathroom stall of the OldSchoolBuilding.\n* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Her attachment to Santa originates from how he wasn't afraid to approach her and become her friend.\n* BodyHorror: Kuroumaru [[HalfTheManHeUsedToBe cuts her in half]], along with her [[AnArmAndALeg left arm]], with a technique made to bifurcate ghosts without harming those they possess, but Sayoko simply uses the miasma in the atmosphere to turn the missing parts of her body into [[SpiderPeople monstrous, spider-like legs]] and [[MultiArmedAndDangerous multiple]] CreepilyLongArms. Kuroumaru can only describe that transformation as an abomination. She changes them into normal-looking jet-black limbs when she realizes Santa is watching her. During her fight with Santa, the lower half of her body degenerates into a grotesque BlobMonster-like mass growing tentacles with {{Lamprey Mouth}}s.\n* BullyHunter: In every of her murders, she always targeted privileged students who abused their power and bullied others. When Karin confronts her, Sayoko claims she only kills scumbags that are basically asking to be killed. That's until her short time left and the influence of thousands of evil spirits push her into going full-on OmnicidalManiac.\n* CreateYourOwnHero: She empowered Santa originally, and he ends up being the one who managed to stop her in the end.\n* CreepyShadowedUndereyes: She gets dark circles around her eyes when she's under the influence of evil spirits.\n* CryCute: The moments where she breaks away from psycho mode have her crying in such a cute way that you could forget she's a mass-murderer.\n* CuteAndPsycho: She can smile like a sweet girl one minute and go full-on homicidal maniac the next. Santa feels conflicted by this because he's attracted to Sayoko's cute side, but finds her psycho side terrifying. Before Sayoko vanishes, Santa figures out her cute personality was an act, but turns out he still likes her when she's scary.\n* DarkActionGirl: Within the span of Santa's introductory arc, Sayoko zombified most of the campus, and used various clever tactics to ensure a swift victory over Touta, Kuroumaru, Ikkuu and Kirie.\n* DarkIsEvil: Not only is she a {{necromancer}} so potent she can turn nearly the entire campus into ghouls, but it's also clear her motives are far less savoury than she suggests to Santa.\n* DatingCatwoman: She loves Santa very much and he cannot help to still have feelings for her even though he finds what she does horrifying and agrees she must be stopped at all costs.\n* DiedInYourArmsTonight: After Santa releases her from the control of the evil spirits, Sayoko DisappearsIntoLight in his arms. She's briefly brought back by Kirie's reset power so she can say goodbye to Santa while in her right mind.\n* DisappearsIntoLight: She vanishes in a rain of flower petals.\n* DullEyesOfUnhappiness: All shine disappears from her eyes whenever the corrupted souls take control over her.\n* DyingAsYourself: She dies happy once Santa succeeds in talking her back to her senses, as she is now freed of all those hateful spirits.\n* DyingDeclarationOfLove: Before passing on, she tells Santa that she loved him.\n* EvenEvilCanBeLoved: Santa deeply cares about Sayoko despite her sheer madness and ambitions of omnicide, as he can understand the cruelty of humankind made Sayoko into an insane monster.\n* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: She's a nutjob who wants to get rid of all the scum of the Earth indiscriminately, but her attachment to Santa is the real deal.\n* EvilWearsBlack: She dresses in a black SailorFuku, is the SerialKiller that has been targeting students at the academy for about 80 years and later attempts to destroy the world with a ZombieApocalypse.\n* ExorcistHead: Her head turns 360 degrees as she recites a MadnessMantra when talking to Santa.\n* FauxAffablyEvil: She puts on a charming demeanor and speaks politely when addressing the Numbers, but she's a totally AxCrazy psycho who starts a ZombieApocalypse to kill everyone on Earth.\n* FlowerInHerHair: She has a headband with flowers decorating her hair.\n* FromNobodyToNightmare: It seems she was a regular girl with some talent for magic. Then she died somehow and returned as a VengefulGhost to kill bullies, becoming the host of thousands of evil spirits to obtain more power. Now, she's horror personified.\n* GoOutWithASmile: She smiles happily as she bids her final goodbye to Santa before passing on to the afterlife.\n* GoryDiscretionShot: Whatever she did to Santa's killers was so bad he ran away and she had to change his memories. We are not allowed to see this.\n* GracefulLoser: After Santa manages to stop her and Kirie turns back time to undo the ZombieApocalypse, Sayoko dignifiedly accepts her defeat and leaves to the afterlife without causing more trouble (although not without pretending to start the apocalypse all over again as a joke).\n* HumanoidAbomination: She was human once and still looks like it most of the time. Her current self, however, is practically nothing but the representation of countless corrupted souls.\n* InnocentlyInsensitive: A rather dark take on it. She goes after Santa's killers and does [[TakeOurWordForIt something]] to them, but leaves them alive for Santa to finish them off. Instead of being happy about her "gift", Santa runs away from her and asks her to erase him, now thinking of her as a crazy monster.\n* {{Intangibility}}: As a ghost like Santa, she also has the ability to make herself and anyone she touches intangible. This is how she murdered all the students by [[CruelAndUnusualDeath phasing their bodies through concrete and making them fuse with it]].\n* KnightOfCerebus: While the series started out somewhat bloodier than its predecessor, she ramped up the threat and violence level.\n* ManySpiritsInsideOfOne: She is classified by Karin as an "Onryou", a vengeful god-like being who has become an amalgam of the spirits of at least 340,000 people who died in torment. Her original personality is all but gone as a result. [[ThePowerOfHate All that is left is the hate]].\n* MaskOfSanity: She tries her best to appear sane and understanding in front of Santa, even though the latter becomes increasingly terrified by the amount of chaos she causes.\n* MemoryWipingCrew: After a very bad fallout, she altered all of Santa's memories of their meeting and his death.\n* MysteriousPast: Whatever her past was before she met Santa is a complete mystery. All we get is Karin speculating that Sayoko was a young girl with an affinity for magic who died somehow and became the vessel for thousands of evil spirits.\n* {{Necromancer}}: She identifies herself as one, and has in fact used her powers to revive Santa after the latter committed suicide. She also turns most of the campus into ghouls following her reveal, and the end of Chapter 55 has a news channel announce that various parts of the world have been infected as well. Later in the series, Ku:Nel and Dana comment on the fact that Santa was made so well that she must have been among the best in the world.\n* NonhumanLoverReveal: She didn't tell Santa that she was a ghost until he died and she made him into a ghost too. Santa was actually happy about it because if both were ghosts, they could be together forever.\n* OmnicidalManiac: She unleashes a world-wide ZombieApocalypse to destroy all of humanity.\n* PeoplePuppets: She bites Kirie to make sure she's under her control, at one time talking in unison. Then, when Touta and Kuroumaru try to attack her together, she reveals that she developed a particular strand of hair that zombifies an immortal like Kuroumaru, stabbing Touta in the process.\n* PleaseDontLeaveMe: Santa ran away from her and asked her to erase him after she did [[GoryDiscretionShot something horrifying]] to his murderers. Sayoko begged him to stay with her because she wouldn't bear to spend the last few years she had left all alone, but Santa still wanted to disappear. Not wanting to erase Santa, Sayoko altered his memories so he would forget about his own death.\n* PoisonousFriend: She will make sure anyone who threatens or hurts her dear Santa pays for it. Taken UpToEleven when she unleashes a ZombieApocalypse to destroy the world that allowed Santa to die so tragically since that's what he said he wanted (even though he clearly wasn't in his right mind at the moment).\n* PrehensileHair: She can freely manipulate the growth and movement of her hair, using it to immobilize and attack her enemies.\n* SatelliteLoveInterest: Her character is entirely linked to Santa and his backstory. She exited the plot as soon as Santa's story arc was over.\n* SchoolUniformsAreTheNewBlack: She's always seen wearing a SailorFuku.\n* SerialKiller: She's the one behind the series of murders on the campus for the past 80 years.\n* ShadowArchetype: Sayoko is essentially what Santa would be if he took his hatred of bullying and social inequality to the most gruesome extreme possible.\n* SlasherSmile: As much as killing intent as she possesses, her expression appropriately contorts into a psychotic grin whenever she's in control of the situation.\n* StepfordSmiler: The mentally unstable type. She often has a smile in her face when she's completely insane and murderous.\n* StringyHairedGhostGirl: A variation. Sayoko is clearly meant to be an onryou-type ghost, but her hair doesn't obscure her face which lets her pass off as a CuteGhostGirl when not in psycho mode. That said, her thirst for revenge and bloodlust are still something to be greatly feared.\n* SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum: Sayoko feels sick at all the injustice and suffering in the world. Knowing she will vanish soon anyway, she attempts to wipe out Earth's population with a global ZombieApocalypse.\n* ThisIsUnforgivable: She made clear she wouldn't let Santa's bullies get away with the crime of murdering him. When she caught them, she did something so horrifying to them that [[TakeOurWordForIt we aren't allowed to see it]].\n* TooPowerfulToLive: She managed to bypass Karin's immortality with mental attacks and then bury her 1000 meters below ground, rip Ikkuu apart, infect Kirie and Kuroumaru, and keep Touta down for an extended period of time. Had she not been stopped by Santa at the end of their arc, Sayoko would've carried on the infection of the entire world. No wonder she was offed as soon as her arc was over.\n* {{Troll}}: After Santa manages to stop her and time gets rewinded by Kirie, Sayoko makes it look like she's going to start the ZombieApocalypse all over again. As everyone is freaking out, Sayoko goes "Just kidding!" and leaves to the afterlife.\n* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: Horrifically so. She mutilated Santa's bullies after they killed him and wants to eliminate anyone who tries to hurt him. Even Santa is freaked out by her protective efforts.\n* WalkingSpoiler: Talking about her role in the school arc is difficult since [[RedHerring we were led to believe that Santa was the serial killer]].\n* WingedHumanoid: When fighting, she turns several strands of her hair into pitch-black wings in order to fly around.\n* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: Sayoko apparently used something like a downgraded version of the Life-Maker's Resonance to gather power from thousands of evil spirits and make herself into a god-class VengefulGhost. In exchange, her mind has been completely consumed by the hatred of the spirits and there's probably nothing of her original self left.\n* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: Her mind and spirit were utterly broken by carrying the hatred and suffering of thousands of tormented human souls. Since she's screwed anyway, Sayoko unleashes a ZombieApocalypse into the world to bring everyone down with her.\n* {{Yandere}}: A grossly exaggerated example towards Santa. Despite her methods, she's quite dedicated to him, basing many of her whims on Santa's condition; when she thinks Santa is being mistreated at school ever since he got resurrected, she slowly started hating the world, and when he himself started loathing the campus for shunning him, Sayoko begins a sinister plan to infect the rest of the world, with the rationale that [[BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor this is what Santa wished for]].\n* YourDaysAreNumbered: She states several times that her time is running out for some reason. So, she decides to take the whole world down with her before she vanishes.\n* ZettaiRyouiki: She wears black thigh high stockings with her school uniform.\n[[/folder]]\n\n[[folder:Gravity Blade / Kurobo]]\n!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/RyotaTakeuchi (JP)\n\nThe Gravity Blade created by Albireo Imma. It can be rendered completely weightless for effortless wielding, or it can increase its own mass to insane levels, giving it enormous striking power. The highest setting Touta has used thus far is the "10,000x" gravity multiplier, giving the sword an apparent weight of 500 tons. It was created by Albireo Imma, a master of gravity magic.\n* EmbarrassingNickname: It doesn't like the name "Kurobo/Sidestick" given to it by Touta.\n* ExcaliburInTheStone: Parodied. Touta finds it impaled in a stone at what looks like Albireo Imma's old residence. Jinbei stated the sword belonged to any who could pull it out, but no one has been able to. Turns out the sword has a weight-modifying dial that had been set to several tons. Touta just has to turn it back down, and the sword slides right out.\n* GravityMaster: It can manipulate gravity to change its weight according to its dial.\n* ICallItVera: Touta names the Gravity Blade Kurobo after he learns it can talk.\n* KatanasAreJustBetter: It's a katana.\n* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Touta nicknames the Gravity Blade "Kurobo/Sidestick" the moment he learns it can talk. The Gravity Blade claims to have a formal name, but Touta isn't interested in hearing it.\n* TalkingWeapon: After over 50 chapters of being wielded by Touta, the sword turns out to be capable of speech, but doesn't reveal this until Touta is speaking to it when nobody else is around. Most of her meetings with Touta were adapted into a non-serial OVA, though.\n* AffectionateNickname: Dana and Touta call her "Kitty". It apparently was her mother's pet name for her.\n* BeautifulDreamer: Touta blushes as he contemplates Kitty's sleeping face.\n* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Touta was the first person who treated her with kindness ever since the Life-Maker turned her into an immortal and his words of encouragement helped her find the will to live. He became her FirstLove and she wanted to see him again no matter how many years passed for her.\n* BeingEvilSucks: She becomes the universally hated Demon Queen after she continually massacred the enemies she attracted to herself. And she hates herself for it. Touta even points out she's acting like a pathetic loser instead of a great villainess.\n* BreakTheCutie: Touta gave her the courage to have hope in her future again. 287 years of having to [[KillingInSelfDefense kill people in self-defense]] drove her to despair again.\n* BrokenBird: She was orphaned and wandered starving in the cold until Dana picked her up. It's unsurprising that Kitty believes her future holds nothing but despair. She temporarily recovers thanks to Touta's pep talk. 287 years later, Kitty is even more miserable than before as the result of becoming a persecuted mass murderer.\n* BullyingADragon: How she became TheDreaded. As Dana pointed out, Kitty's torment would have ended if she hasn't been too powerful for anyone to kill her.\n* CryCute: She tearfully asks Touta to not make her wait for them to meet again, knowing several years will pass for her before she can see him again.\n* DefrostingIceQueen: While she initially tries to keep her distance from Touta, she opens up to him as they interact.\n* DoNotCallMePaul: She doesn't appear to like being called Evangeline and only gives Touta permission to call her "Kitty".\n* DoesNotLikeShoes: She's barefoot the first few times Touta meets with her, but she shows up wearing shoes later.\n* DontYouDarePityMe: When Touta peeks at her sad memories by accident, Kitty gets so pissed that she physically attacks him and runs away from him, telling him she doesn't want his pity.\n* EvilWearsBlack: {{Invoked|Trope}}. During her final meeting with Touta, she wears a gothic black dress to fit the image of the evil Demon Queen she built for herself after she killed countless people (even if she did it because they tried to kill her first).\n* FirstLove: She and Touta become this to each other through a convoluted TimeTravelRomance. \n* TheFogOfAges: She completely forgot all about Touta and their promise to meet again after 287 years of killing the people hunting her down. She does remember everything when Touta goes to see her in the past.\n* GoodGirlGoneBad: She starts off as a good-hearted and sweet girl who helps Touta with his training. Then she made herself into the enemy of the magic society and began killing anyone who attacked her, which only earned her more and more enemies. A few hundreds of years later, she has become an infamous villainess and a shell of her former self.\n* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: She's an even better example than her present-day self, being far younger, more openly helpful and less distant while also having Eva/Yukihime's extremely long blonde hair.\n* HairReboot: When an assassin cuts off her head, her hair grows back to its original length once she reattaches her head.\n* HorrorHunger: As a (fake) vampire, she gets cravings for blood, as seen when she sucks Touta's blood out of hunger. When he sees her do this, Touta wonders why he never gets the urge to drink blood.\n* IAmAMonster: She thinks the treatment she gets as the evil Demon Queen is all well-deserved since she never stopped killing those who attacked her and ended up creating her own hell as a result.\n* IWillWaitForYou: Every time Touta met with her, Kitty had to wait several years for the next chance to see him again due to the time intervals at Dana's castle being so random. After he was forced to leave the past, Kitty apparently spent the following centuries waiting for her next chance to see Touta again.\n* AnIcePerson: As expected from a younger Yukihime, Kitty is an ice mage.\n* InnocentBlueEyes: She's still young, inexperienced, and not yet as cynical as her also blue-eyed present-day self. That is until she becomes the Demon Queen.\n* KidFromTheFuture: Inverted. Because Dana's castle is a PlaceBeyondTime, Kitty keeps running into Touta, unaware that he's her foster son from the future. It only gets weirder when they find themselves in a peculiar TimeTravelRomance.\n* KillItWithIce: When some assassins come after her, Kitty uses a spell that freezes their bodies solid and then has them [[LiterallyShatteredLives explode into ice shards]].\n* KillingInSelfDefense: Kitty killed many people in the 287 years she was separated from Touta, but they all kind of asked for it by picking a fight with her first.\n* MarionetteMaster: She already knows some doll magic, as seen when she performs a dance show with an inanimate Chachazero. Later on, she can control a small army of human-sized dolls.\n* MerlinAndNimue: She helps Touta control the ki and mana inside him. Touta falls in love with Kitty and due to [[TimeyWimeyBall time travel,]] he becomes Eva's FirstLove.\n* MsExposition: She informs Touta that he's some sort of [[OurHomunculiAreDifferent homunculus]] with the power of Magia Erebea and Magic Cancel inside his body. She also explains his training with hula hoops will help him bring out the two {{Mutually Exclusive Magic}}s inside him and teaches him about kanka so he can get off his TrainingFromHell more easily.\n* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: When Touta sees how she's doing 287 years later, Kitty has become TheDreaded with many enemies hunting her down. According to Dana, Kitty freed a town from the control of a group of evil mages. That earned her quite a few enemies who tried to kill her. With every one she [[KillingInSelfDefense killed in self-defense]], more and more swore vengeance against her.\n* AnOddPlaceToSleep: Touta one time finds Kitty sleeping on a railing at Dana's floating castle.\n* OlderThanSheLooks: She's 16 when Touta first meets her and keeps getting older every time Touta sees her again, but it's hard to notice because she always looks like a ten-year-old.\n* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Touta and Dana only call her Kitty and her real name Evangeline is used just once in one of her flashbacks. This is to differentiate her from her present-day self.\n* PerspectiveFlip: Her OVA shows her meetings with Touta from her point-of-view.\n* RapunzelHair: Her hair is as long as she is tall.\n* RedBaron: After a few centuries of murdering hundreds in [[KillingInSelfDefense self-defense]], people started calling her "Demon Queen".\n* RelativelyFlimsyExcuse: Kitty lies to Touta by claiming to be a distant relative of the Evangeline he knows. Touta realizes Kitty really is Evangeline from 700 years in the past when he spies on her memories by accident.\n* SatelliteLoveInterest: She only appears in one arc where the main focus is on the TimeTravelRomance between her and Touta. She never even interacts with any other characters aside from Touta because her single function is to influence and be influenced by him.\n* ShanaClone: An eternally ten-year-old little girl with blonde RapunzelHair who gets {{Tsundere}} around the protagonist and becomes his LoveInterest.\n* SheCleansUpNicely: The first time Touta sees her, she's wearing nothing but a ragged cloak. She later discards it for a fancy dress and Touta says she looks cute in it.\n* SpiritAdvisor: She leaves a mental copy of herself inside Touta's mind so she can give him advice to figure out how to properly use Magia Erebea.\n* StepfordSmiler: When Touta sees her as the Demon Queen, Kitty forces herself to look happy about their reunion despite obviously being miserable at the moment. Touta hates how fake her smile is.\n* StreetPerformer: She says she made a living as a street dancer while she was on the run.\n* SympatheticMurderer: When Touta watches her [[KillItWithIce brutally freezing and shattering her attackers into pieces]], the one who looks the most miserable is Kitty. She obviously hates the things she has to do to defend herself from the enemies she has earned through the centuries.\n* TheseHandsHaveKilled: She couldn't bare to face Touta after he sees her in the middle of her reign as "Demon Queen" due to the massive amount of death and destruction she caused.\n-->'''Kitty:''' I've killed too many people. I will never be forgiven.\n* ThroughHisStomach: She prepares a feast for Touta to express her gratitude to him for encouraging her to live on.\n* TimeTravelRomance: She keeps meeting with Touta during his training at Dana's extradimensional castle and the two fall for each other. Yukihime was in love with him and he was responsible for trapping her inside Mahora during ''Negima''.\n----\n* DemonicPossession: He was the Mage of the Beginning's host before Negi. He's freed from her control in both timelines, but ended up dead in the one without Asuna.\n* HasAType: In the timeline with Asuna, Nagi gets remarried to Eva who is a blonde {{Tsundere}} with [[HeroWithBadPublicity a misconceived criminal reputation]] like his first wife Arika.\n* MayflyDecemberRomance: The immortal (fake) vampire Eva had a crush on Nagi, a mortal man about 700 years younger than her. The feeling didn't appear to be mutual, but they got married at some point in the timeline with Asuna. Still, Eva most definitely will outlive Nagi unless he also becomes immortal.\n* OffscreenRomance: According to a picture from the timeline A Prime, Eva and Nagi got married there. Like Negi and Chisame, it's never shown or explained how that came to be. The marriage is especially strange in this case because Nagi only ever seemed annoyed by Eva's stalking, so one has to wonder what changed his mind so drastically.\n* PosthumousCharacter: He's long dead in the timeline where ''UQ Holder'' takes place.\n* ReplacementGoldfish: Retroactively. It seems Yukihime felt attracted to Nagi because of his similarities to his great-grandson Touta, who she fell for hundreds of years before Nagi because of TimeTravel shenanigans.\n* SecondLove: Contrary to what was initially believed, Nagi was actually the second man Eva ever loved. Eva thinks it's ridiculous that another version of her managed to get Nagi.\n* TeacherParentRomance: Eva was Nagi's son's magic teacher and she was in love with Nagi. Although, he never seemed interested in her that way and trapped her inside Mahora just to put a stop to her stalking. According to Dana, however, Nagi married Eva in the timeline A Prime.\n* UnexplainedRecovery: Negi rips his heart out to get the Life-Maker out of his body. In the timeline A Prime, Nagi inexplicably survives by a miracle and fully recovers a couple of years later. That timeline's Fate and Dana have a hunch the Life-Maker may have something to do with it. Nagi wasn't so lucky in the Asuna-less timeline, though.\n* WalkingSpoiler: It's difficult to talk about his role in ''UQ Holder'' without giving away his fate in both timelines.\n[[/folder]]\n\n[[folder:Albert Chamomile]]\n\nThe perverted ermine who was once Negi's sidekick.
