** He gets better in Chapter 3, only to face even more emotional distress in [[spoiler: Chapter 4 when he learns of Onslaught and Blast Off’s plan of getting him out by having Blast Off kill Onslaught to escape with Swindle. The plan isn’t carried out thanks to the murders of Mirage and Nightbeat, but Swindle does isolate himself from them in the following chapter. This leave him open for Smokescreen to kidnap him without any witnesses that chapter so that he can use him to forge a false alibi in his murder plan. Then, on the day of the murder, he breaks out of his confinement on the day of the murder, which leads to his gestalt mate, Blast Off, to accidentally trigger the bomb and die shortly after it.]]

A well-known metallikato expert, Bludgeon is the bodyguard of Jhiaxus and dedicates his life to protect him. After a battle on Jhiaxus’s ship, leading to Jhiaxus' death, Blugeon leaves unseen by anyone until he showed back up at the academy.

* NightmareFace: His pretender shell makes him have a skeletal face with sharp denta, making him very intimidating.

* WhenHeSmiles: [[spoiler: He smiles in relief after Nautilator wakes up from his coma. Nautilator and Knock Out doesn't like it and finds it scary when he did it, even Bludgeon himself admit that his face is not a kind one.]]

* {{Jerkass}}: He’s a dick who doesn’t hesitate to mock people the first chance he gets and play pranks on people for his own amusement. One of his favourite hobbies is pushing people down the stairs for no reason.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: That said, after the first trial, Skywarp does take a level in kindness due to [[spoiler: being the victim of a frame job]] and stops his pranks as well as being nicer to people overall. To go along with that, [[spoiler: Skywarp adopts Laserbeak after Soundwave’s execution and takes it upon himself to take good care of Laserbeak, even if the two get snippy with each other.]]

* {{Jerkass}}: His callousness and vanity leads to him being this, often played for black comedy. One of the best example is right after the [[spoiler: first trial’s execution, where everyone else is shock and in disbelief over Soundwave being executed in a brutal way, while Knock Out is only worrying about his paint job.]]

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: All that being said, he still has some decency in him. It’s known that he truly does love his conjunx endura and [[spoiler: after getting caught in the bomb in Chapter 5, he takes a noticeable [[TookALevelInKindness Level in Kindness.]]]]

* GrumpyBear: Is an incredibly sullen mech. Not that he could show it to anyone.

In one nonstop debate he continues to irritate the group by making taunts every time anyone tries to deduce how he got into the Autobot's storage area. There's two Cross Swords Battle with him in a row to keep adding the effects of his act.]]

* SquashedFlat: In his execution, he was crushed by a speeding huge metal fist. As a result, his body caved in and all his limbs were severed from his body.]]

* DeathByIrony: [[His true cause of his death is by falling from a great height distance, the same way he did to his victims after he finished interrogating them.]]

* DeathByIrony: One of his favourite methods of interrogation is taking the unfortunate victim on a wild ride in his helicopter form and once he gets all the answers he needed, he lets them fall to their death. [[spoiler: Guess what is the true cause of his death?]]

* DramaticIrony: He states several time throughout the story that he wouldn't care if Wildrider dies. [[spoiler: However, when Wildrider does die, it proves to be a lie as Dead End makes it clear that he will avenge his gestaltmate, no matter what.]]
