Added DiffLines:

* AlmightyJanitor: It turns out that he [[spoiler: never stopped serving the Morgol, but simply assumed a succession of humble identities at the Herun court. Most notably, the scholar who helped the current Morgol unlock Iff's spell books? Yeah, turns out that that was none other than Iff himself.]]

!Iff of the Unpronouncable Name
A wizard of Lungold, missing and presumed dead. He served the Morgol of Herun at one point.

* OnlyKnownByTheirNickname: Contrary to his title, his name apparently ''is'' pronouncable and known to some people, but it's very complicated to say (you have to sing it), and we're never told what it actually is.

* LittleMissBadass: She's a fifteen-year-old girl who talks and acts a lot like a BrattyHalfpint, but she's a genuinely brave and skilled fighter.

Added DiffLines:

* AnimalMotif: Associated with wolves, as his nickname implies. Subverted in that while he can become a wolf (or a number of other things) at will, his favourite shape seems to be a vesta (that is, [[TheMarvelousDeer a sort of deer]]), and when going to war he leads an army of vestas.

Added DiffLines:

* IJustWantToBeNormal: He would prefer to just ignore his BirthmarkOfDestiny and work as a farmer.

Added DiffLines:

* RebelliousPrincess: In the second book, when she refuses to accept [[spoiler:that Morgon is dead]].

Added DiffLines:

* TheBard: Naturally, although from a practical standpoint his role as a harpist is second to his role as the High One's messenger.

Added DiffLines:

* ActualPacifist: At the start of the story, anyway.

Added DiffLines:

* WorldsMostBeautifulWoman: Played with, in that Raederle is officially the ''second'' most beautiful woman "in all the Three Portions of An."

Added DiffLines:

* BlowYouAway: [[spoiler:He won the war between the Earth-Masters by mastering the wind.]]
* LastOfHisKind: [[spoiler:He is actually the last of the Earth-Masters, or at least the last one who wasn't bound in the ocean.]]
* OmniscientMoralityLicense: He's the only one who knows what's ''really'' going on, and uses this to justify some pretty awful stuff.
* WalkingSpoiler: [[spoiler:As you can tell by the fact that more than half his titles nearly all his tropes are spoilered, pretty much anything about his real backstory and motivations is a massive spoiler.]]

Added DiffLines:

* ActionGirl: Like all members of the Morgol's Guard, which is an AmazonBrigade.

He is the Prince of Hed and least important of land-rulers. He was born with three stars on his forehead which are the subject of some of the oldest unsolved riddles. Before his parents died Morgon attended Caithnard where he studied riddle mastery. Shortly before the first book he secretly bet his life in a riddle game that hundreds of men have died attempting. He keeps the crown he won under his bed and just wants to farm.
