* StellarName: Literally and it fits her personality very well. Joshua calls her 'his sun' at one point and Kevin eventually starts calling her 'Sun Girl'. Her strongest weapon in The 3rd is even called Soleil. One of the main musical themes (both in-universe in the soundtrack) is called "Hoshi no Arika (roughly means Whereabouts of the Stars)", which fits Estelle.

Added DiffLines:

* BerserkButton: Has a few that typically get PlayedForLaughs, but threatening to hurt those she cares about (especially Joshua in SC) consistently doubles the size of the font in her text boxes.

* HeroesGoneFishing: Absolutely loves to fish. In gameplay terms, she can stop at any source of water to fish. It's even in her exclusive solo Door in the ''3rd''.
* TheHero: Or heroine, in this case. She's the protagonist and leader of the party in ''FC'' and ''SC''.

* HopeBringer: One of Estelle's defining traits. She firmly believes that everyone working together can overcome any obstacle no matter how dark the situation appears, and she can make everyone else believe it too. This is why Joshua and Kevin both liken her to the sun. It's also why [[spoiler:she is immune to the corruption of the Ring of Judgment, not because she has no guilt for it to feed on but because she can take it and turn it into something positive]]. She gets to demonstrate this ability shortly afterwards when [[spoiler:the information Ein gave them on Renne turned out to be virtually useless but Estelle still spun it into a positive anyways.]]

* SympathyForTheDevil: She tells [[spoiler:Weissmann]] she feels sorry for him because [[EvilCannotComprehendGood he's never known what it feels like to help others, and can only get satisfaction from the suffering of others. However, she also notes that she can't just let him get away with everything he's done, [[GoodIsNotSoft so she'll have to take him down by force]].

* TeethClenchedTeamwork: Spends a lot of time butting heads with the abrasive Agate, not that he's putting in much effort to act responsibly himself, either.

Added DiffLines:

* WillTheyOrWontThey: Between herself and Joshua. By the end of ''FC'', it becomes a matter of when, not if.

* AdaptationalWimp: Her competence takes a noticeable hit in the OVA, where many of the fights she held her own in ''SC'' have her getting kicked around like a sack of potatoes.

* BattleCouple: With Joshua.

to:

* AlmostKiss: Fate conspires to ruin not one, but two instances where she would have otherwise received a suitably romantic kiss with Joshua. She finally gets her moment minutes before the closing credits of ''SC''.
* BabyTalk: Has a hard time sounding out large words in the very first scene of ''FC'', and speaks with a lisp in the dream memory of her childhood.
* BadassAdorable: Her ActionGirl status and skill with the staff does nothing to compromise her optimistic, fun-loving attitude.
* BattleCouple: With Joshua.Joshua post-''SC''.

* BestFriend: To Kloe, most especially compared to the other party members.
* BigDamnKiss: [[spoiler:Finally gets her kiss with Joshua as the Liber Ark falls apart under their feet.]]

* BirdsOfAFeather: is a less girly counterpart to Anelace, who also shares her [[ActionGirl action]] and [[GenkiGirl genki]] qualities.

* TheBusCameBack: After being absent from the series since ''Ao'' she and Joshua show up once again in ''Cold Steel IV'' ready to help out their friends and allies in Erebonia.

to:

* TheBusCameBack: After being absent from the series since ''Ao'' ''Trails to Azure'', she and Joshua show up once again in ''Cold Steel IV'' ready to help out their friends and allies in Erebonia.Erebonia.
* ButNowIMustGo: At the end of ''SC'', [[spoiler:she and Joshua leave Liberl in search of Renne.]]
* ButtMonkey: Often teased, made the butt of jokes, clumsy, and gets backhanded compliments, even from her friends at times.
* CharacterDevelopment: Nearly the entirity of ''SC'' is dedicated to Estelle's growth, both as a girl into an adult and her emotional maturity. By the end, she's fully embraced her empathy for others, resolves to fight at Joshua's side as a companion and a girlfriend, won't hesitate to lay down her life for a greater cause, and find confidence in herself to stand apart from her father. She's not there yet, but she's well on her way.

* CripplingOverspecialization: In ''Cold Steel IV'', she has the highest S-Craft rating in the game at ''5S'' compared to everyone else who hovers around mainly at 3S+ to 4S+ at most. Only Rean manages to tie with her and he can only do it with his second S-Craft plus he needs to use his SuperMode. Unfortunately, almost all of her crafts are single target and that includes said S-Craft which [[spoiler:barring her team's final boss at the pillar and the TrueFinalBoss]], most of the boss fights she's available are either a FlunkyBoss fight or three of them at the same time. To make matters worse, her equiment cannot be changed by players so they're stuck with what she has.

* CoolBigSis: Acts like one to honorary little sister Tita.

* {{Determinator}}: She'll stop at absolutely nothing to [[spoiler:bring back and redeam Joshua.]]

* ExperiencedProtagonist: By ''Cold Steel IV'', barely anything fazes her with how Ouroboros works and how the world works in general. She even manages to save Juna from running ahead when there's a live grenade in the latter's feet.

* FauxActionGirl: Definitely not in the original games, but in the OVA, she spends a lot of screentime either worrying about Joshua, or struggling in fights she could at least keep up with in the source material. Some of her victories were also passed on to other characters.

* FriendlyRival: Is an on again, off again rival to Anelace after their Bracer training.

* HeartbrokenBadass: Spends much of the second game trying to keep herself together to cope with [[spoiler:Joshua's abandoning her.]] While she's mostly able to shoulder the pain, a few times she needs some space to cry.

* IdiotHero: In ''FC''. She often needs to be reminded of her current objective, has a [[AttentionDeficitOohShiny meandering train of thought]], and has a hard time catching on to the significance of conversations. She grows out of it during ''SC''.

* InformedFlaw: Her being a LethalChef. Only once do we see her cook (in ''FC'') and Joshua and Cassius think it wasn't that bad. Optionally, we see her cook via the Recipe Book and the stuff is ''at least'' edible. Well, no one complains.
* JackOfAllStats: She's a perfectly balanced character, and since her orbment affinity is not restricted to certain element, she can be customized as the player sees fit. This backfires later on in the game where she ends up playing support for the most part as physical attacks are terrible in the ''Sky'' series, sans [[LimitBreak S-Crafts]] on [[HarderThanHard Nightmare difficulty]].
%%* TheKirk: Oh yeah.

* LargeHam: A defining trait of Estelle is her incredible enthusiasm. Even
in text, the game where she ends girl's high energy is communicated through bolded dialogue that can fill up playing support for an entire textbox with the most part as physical attacks are terrible in the ''Sky'' series, sans [[LimitBreak S-Crafts]] on [[HarderThanHard Nightmare difficulty]].
%%* TheKirk: Oh yeah.
force of her shouts. "THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY BRACERS HAS ARRIVED!"

" [[spoiler:In ''Zero'', her S-Craft is "Phoenix Wave," which originally belonged to her father. In ''Cold Steel IV'' however, she goes back to "Wheel of Time," whilst "Barrage" becomes a regular Craft.]]]]
* ManicPixieDreamGirl: estelle's boundless energy and good cheer tends to rub off on anyone that sticks around her long enough. This especially holds true for Joshua.
* MasterOfNone: By the time of the last game in the Sky series, Estelle's well-rounded orbment and supportive Crafts backfire on her. In a game with a diverse set of party members that can fill a combat niche and two leads that already provide ample Craft support, she's left with few standout traits aside from her somewhat above average Strength. Her Wheel of Time S-Craft still remains the second most powerful single-target attack in the trilogy, however.

* NotSoDifferent: While she'll never admit it, she has much more in common with Josette than she'd like to believe, what with her outgoing personality, attraction to Joshua, tomboyish nature, and her willingness to jump into the action.

* SympathyForTheDevil: [[spoiler:She tells Weissmann she feels sorry for him because [[EvilCannotComprehendGood he's never known what it feels like to help others, and can only get satisfcation from making people suffer]]. * TragicKeepsake: For most of ''SC'', she keeps [[spoiler:Joshua's harmonica on her to remember her promise to bring him back.]]

** SpinToDeflectStuff: How she deflects the bullets fired by [[spoiler:Mayor Dalmore]] in Chapter 2.

to:

** SpinToDeflectStuff: How she deflects the bullets fired by [[spoiler:Mayor Dalmore]] in Chapter 2.2 of ''FC''.
* WhenYouComingHomeDad: As the highest-ranked Bracer on the continent and much more besides, Cassius has to spend more time than he'd like away from the house. Estelle tends to get depressed whenever Cassius isn't around, especially before she met Joshua. Since she's an only child and her mom had recently passed, it's understandable.

Added DiffLines:

* CleavageWindow: Very prominent in her ''Cold Steel IV'' outfit.

* LimitBreak: In ''FC'', her S-Crafts are "Pummel"[[note]]"Reppa Musougeki"[[/note]] and "Barrage"[[note]]"Ouka Musougeki"[[/note]]. In ''SC'' and ''The Third'', she also gets "Wheel of Time."
