* EnemyWithin: A really nasty one, the embodiment of Kaede's hatred and rage, hypothesized to be her Heart's Darkness combined with the effects of the psychotic break she suffered at 10 as a result of the horrible torment and pain she's been through. Until Teana's seals, the Other would constantly push Kaede to kill, and if she refused to kill someone the Other would sometimes [[VillainOverride wrench control away and do so herself]]. Marie explicitly calls the Other "Kaede's [[Machinima/RedVsBlue Omega]]". [[spoiler:She is purged by Kaede and Nyuu after a BattleInTheCenterOfTheMind, freeing Kaede from her influence]].

The "lost innocence and happiness" of Kaede (Marie calls her "Kaede's [[Machinima/RedVsBlue Theta]]"). Supposedly "born" as a result of a sniper's bullet grazing Kaede's skull, Teana believes she actually came into being gradually over years, and that the aforementioned incident was merely the first time she could take control and gain consciousness. Cheerful, innocent, kind, and friendly to all. When the Other is sealed up, she and Kaede make mental contact, and Nyuu - once no more mentally advanced than a 2-year-old - gains Kaede's basic knowledge - how to speak, read, behave, and such - "copy-pasted" into her mind. Now the two can communicate through thought and switch control of their body at will. Later in Book 11, she gets her own body.
