The main protagonist of the B. Ichi manga, he's a young Clown known as the "Kyōkotsu." His power is to gain the abilities of animals by biting animal bones; e.g., a bird bone will give him the power of flight. His condition is that he must do one good deed every day to use his power, or else he will lose something "precious" inside of him. Childish and simple-minded, he is an avid fan of the Charisma Justice TV show and even copies the main character's "Justice Blade" attack, but has trouble remembering that it comes on every Sunday at 10:30. It is later revealed that Showtaro can draw power from any bone, and even call upon the memories and personality of the deceased. He greatly values his friendship with Emine and thus diligently performs his good deeds. Even though normal people hate and despise Clowns, he holds nothing against them. He goes on a journey to locate his childhood friend, Emine alongside a girl named Mana.

Since saving Movie Land, Joe has saved Movie Land again with help from his now-also-superpowered girlfriend (V.J. 2), saved the real world when villains from Movie Land started to appear there (Double Trouble), and has fought against both Tatsunoko and Marvel superheroes and villains (VideoGame/CapcomVsWhatever games). Again, depending on the version of the tale, he may also have fought against allies and enemies from his past to earn the right to star in his own feature film (Red Hot Rumble).

Zeratul appeared in StarCraft as a playable Dark Templar hero. Like all Dark Templar, he retains the permanent cloaking ability. He has the strongest attack of all StarCraft units (besides the reaver), and appears in Episode III and Episode IV. Zeratul can kill nearly every unit in the game in a few strikes and is capable of tearing structures apart in a matter of seconds. He has powerful shields but low hit points. Zeratul appears in StarCraft II as a dark templar hero with special abilities. In Wings of Liberty, he only appears in the Zeratul Flashbacks minicampaign. Zeratul can blink (much like a stalker). He also has a Void Prison ability, which traps an enemy unit, preventing it from moving, attacking, using special abilities or detecting cloaked units.
