* KissOfDeath: This version of Maxima can inject potent hormones and adrenaline into a person through a kiss. While a Kryptonian like Clark can survive it, the kiss is fatal to humans if they are treated immediately.
* LackOfEmpathy: Has no sympathy for the men who die after kissing her.
** Subverted, albeit at a really low level, with Jimmy.

* AmbiguousSituation: Given that the ''Series/{{Arrowverse}}'' crossover ''Series/CrisisOnInfiniteEarths'' revealed that ''Smallville'' took place on Earth-167, it is unclear how the Season 11 adaption of the same storyline could coexist with the live-action version. However it would explain why Clark was so calm at the idea of the multiverse being destroyed as he's already experienced such an event and possibly believed the ''Arrowverse'' heroes would stop it.

* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Maxima lacks her comic incarnation's {{Telekinesis}}, {{Teleportation}}, [[CharmPerson hypnosis]] and {{Flight}}. She can also inject hormones into a person through a kiss which can prove fatal from overstimulation, a power her comic counterpart does not posses. The only abilities she has in common with the comic version of Maxima are SuperStrength and SuperSpeed.

* {{Expy}}: Of [[Franchise/{{Batman}} Bruce Wayne]], believe or not. He's an orphan, his name combined Creator/AdamWest (as in the actor to play Batman in the 60's TV show) and the "Dark Knight," one of Batman's nicknames. He's done a lot of reading, is very knowledgeable and is a skilled fighter. Many fans actually suspected he was the show's way of getting around the Bat-Embargo before he turned out to be a zombie.

I forgot to add "Averted" when I took out the more informal wording the last time I edited this page.

* DoubleStandardRapeFemaleOnMale: Her pheromones and callous attitude towards other people nicely cement that what she is doing is a bad thing.

Uh, I took out "No, there isn't one! And the show makes a point of acknowledging that." I haven't seen the show, but between the defensive denial and the informal tone, it seems like vandalism to me.

* AmbiguousSituation: As the Speed Force is part of the entire mutliverse and therefore every speedster gains power from it, it is unclear how the ''Smallville'' version of Black Flash fits with that portrayal of the Speed Force from ''Series/TheFlash2014''. The ''Arrowverse'' even had it's own version of Black Flash which further complicates matters.
