* BadassBoast: He's overconfident about his abilities and as boastful about them as [[SmallNameBigEgo Flynn]].

* BringIt: When his final powersuit has been destroyed, he resorts to fighting with his "bone" hands and urges the Skylander to do the same. [[ZeroEffortBoss Turns out he really need that powersuit]].
* CombiningMecha: In the comic "Life of the party", Moneybones' new robot army can turn themselves into a sligthly bigger Mech that is controlled by distance.

* FaceHeelTurn: a surprisingly villanous one, but ever since the defeat of the darkness, Moneybones decides to work alone of his own conquering plans as well to have a revenge agaisnt his traitor Kaos.

* FragileSpeedster: In ''[=SuperChargers=] Racing'', Moneybone has very high acceleration and above average handling, but his top speed is one of the lowest among the villains and his armor stat isn't anything that better.
* MiniMecha: In Superchargers, Moneybones challenges the Skylanders by using a mech that looks like a cross of a skull and a engine.

* LoadBearingBoss: at the end of his 3rd fight in his castle, the entire structure began to rumble away, almost as it's breaking apart. And while he's still have the Villa in the Land of the Undead, his castle is very much gone.

* RecurringBoss: In the 3ds version of Swap Force, he's fought 3 times, each using a more advance version of his Powersuit.
* SealedEvilInACan: After his defeat in the comic "Life for the Party", he's seen rolling down inside of the detached head of his Mech into the darkest parts of the cavern. And since those caves doesn't have an end, it would take long for him to ever return.

* IHaveToGoIronMyDog: At the end of ''[=SuperChargers=] Racing'', [[spoiler:when Flynn accepts the Snowglobe of Destiny in the Portal Master's stead, he notices that it seems to just be a normal snowglobe. Pandergast's reaction to this is to say that he has an important meeting to attend to and flee his course.]]

A species which, apperent to their names, are dragon hunters.

* FlatCharacter: Unlike Spellslamzer and Startosfear, other ''[=SuperChargers=]'' villains who at least had one level each in the story to flesh them out, the Dragon Hunter only appears in the racing portion and has doesn't make enough appearances in other games or media to give him more characterization. In one comic, the entire species is DemotedToDragon for the Chompy Mage.

* BossArenaIdiocy: During the Knight Doomlander boss fight, Kaos will be adding a wrecking ball halfway through into the fight to use against the Skylander. The Knight Doomlander, however, [[DidntThinkThisThrough doesn't have any protection against this wrecking ball]], so the Skylander can trick it into standing in the wrecking ball's way and knock it away, doing tons of damage.

* MinionWithAnFInEvil: They aren't that good at spreading evil since they are easily taken down by the Skylanders. But that can mostly be blamed on their boss who created them and refuses to view his genius as the foundation of their incompetence.

* TheUnfought: Subverted with the Sentinel Doomlander. It doesn't get its own dedicated boss fight like the other Doomlanders due to ''Imaginators'' only have ten story levels and Kaos being the real boss of the tenth and final. But it still shows up in the final battle against Kaos.

* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: [[spoiler:Upon growing fed up with Kaos's verbal abuse, the Brain turns on him and starts helping the Skylanders.]]

Villain of Pirate Seas bonus level; a pirate captain with a taste for gambling. Returns in ''Giants'', in one of the main levels this time.

In the Pirate Seas level, when you beat him the first time in Pirate Cards, he does leave the town, but not before taking with him all of the treasure and kidnapping Jess Legrand, forcing the Skylander to follow him to his fortress on Plunder Island. After shooting down the island's defenses, Dreadbeard challenges the Skylander to one last game of Pirate Cards. But this time when he loses, he [[VillainRespect admits that the Skylander is a legend]], gives back the treasure, sets Jess free and takes his leave.
