His Aura color is green and he can hold his own against Haven's headmaster after just a month of combat training. * EmeraldPower: Ozpin dresses in dark-green clothing and is a very skilled Huntsman. He fights on par with Cinder, who has the full power of the Fall Maiden, by moving at incredible speeds that leave green afterimages and summoning a green force field that is able to initially resist a giant torrent of flame. Both in his original life and first reincarnation, Ozma could unleash blasts of green magic from the emerald at the top of his staff. * ClassyCane: To go with Ozpin's smart, dark-green suit, is a dark, silver-topped cane named The Long Memory. The silver handle of the cane has a delicate vine-like pattern flowing down it. Where the handle joins the shaft are cogs and a silver lever. * Foil: Ozpin and Ironwood share as many differences as they do similarities. Ozpin is the dark-clothed headmaster of a more traditional Huntsman Academy who takes a passive, reactive approach to solving problems. Ironwood dresses in white , is both a headmaster and a general of an academy that is largely militarized, and prefers proactive solutions involving military might. Ozpin's cane seems to be for solely close-combat, while Ironwood's guns are primarily long-range. * NiceGuy: Oscar is regarded by both the heroes and protagonists as a "farm boy" who has come from a relatively simple background; he lived with his aunt, with whom he is implied to have had a comfortable relationship filled with banter. Although forced into a very difficult situation since being paired with Ozpin, Oscar remains a genuinely kind boy who is nice, if a little shy, towards everyone. Even after the full truth of Ozpin's secrets come out and Qrow and Jaune physically lash out at him, Oscar doesn't hold any grudge and instead resolves to help Teams RWBY and JNR out as long as he's still him. In Atlas, Ironwood confides in him a lot of the pressure he feels and his personal beliefs on what needs to be done. Oscar in turn gently advises him to retain his humanity and open up to potential allies. [[He even confronts Ironwood one last time in the Vault - not to fight, but to convince him that they're on the same side. This only fails because the general is too far gone.]]
