Penelope is OnlyInItForTheMoney, and is known to have sold some of his blueprints to both Melkor and Lucifer. Clu, on the other hand, [[PetTheDog generally cares for Penelope]].

* {{Foil}}: Penelope serves as an anthesis to Prince Hans. Both are villains who pretended to love other people for their own selfish desires (Hans with becoming King of Arendelle, Penelope with wealth and world domination). Penelope would ''never'' think of teaming up with the Darkness Proxy to get revenge against the Cooper Gang, but ended up helping them by accident, and everyone assumes the worst. Hans [[spoiler:as Sköll]] intentionally sets the Proxy free without being detected, and nobody assumes he's working with them until he attempts to kill Jak, all in the name of revenge against Elsa and Anna, and getting the kingdom he desires. In the end, [[spoiler:Penelope ends up an even worse villain, while Hans stops antagonizing the pantheon]].

* {{Jerkass}}: Seriously, [[spoiler:unlike Akato and Noxicron, who at least try to be polite to the Pantheon residents while causing havoc, and ultimately leave without much fuss, Rudolf goes out of his way to broadcast his duel with Fourze, and the impending transformation of the CMC, in what can best be described as him stroking his ego, believing that he's triumphed over the Pantheon.]]
* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: [[spoiler:While he may seem sympathetic to the CMC for what they've gone through, in reality he just views them as experiments and his "consoling" of them is just meant to ensure that they don't fight his magic while it transforms them. * LackOfEmpathy: [[spoiler:Gives no cares whatsoever that numerous gods have suffered in Limbo, clearly didn't care that he destroyed the wills of every soul in the Mirror Pantheon, and has no qualms using the CMC's suffering to turn them into his servants, barring a comment on how these little girls have managed to stay alive after ''everything'' went to hell...and even that's just him noting how it would just give him powerful servants, not a sign of actual pity or respect.]]

* NiceJobFixingItVillain: [[spoiler:Turns out broadcasting his duel with Fourze just informed everyone about how bad the situation was, enabling the Kamen Rider to pull ahead with ThePowerOfFriendship and defeat Rudolf.]]
* NoodleIncident: [[spoiler:Noxicron reveals that Rudolf has sent numerous assassins after Akato's archenemy Stephan, but why they were sent is currently unknown. At the very least, given Akato's lack of a comment, it's likely they all failed to kill Professor Ainsworth.]]

* OurDragonsAreDifferent: [[spoiler:He has many kinds of dragons at his disposal, and even a few dragon-like traits himself. For instance, he turns the CMC into Wyrms. Later on, he summons Alternative Alpha Armageddon Dragon, which is a massive serpent-like beast.]]
* OutsideContextProblem: [[spoiler: The '''ultimate''' one in ''Through Darkness and Mirrors''. No one, not even Akato saw him coming (Noxicron suspected that Rudolf had something to do with their presence, and wasn't surprised when Rudolf revealed himself), and he makes things even ''worse''. The good news is that he's the last enemy to deal with, and his future schemes have no chance of influencing the Pantheon. The bad news is that he's still an unexpected enemy who poses a significant threat.]]
* PoweredByAForsakenChild: [[spoiler:The Arc Area Reactor he makes by basically sacrificing every soul from the Mirror Pantheon and Limbo. Capped off by him using the CMC as well, in order to transform them into monsters that would work for him.]]
* RealityWarper: [[spoiler:As soon as he appears, it takes him very little effort to use the Mirror GUAM, the carded Limbo residents, and the CMC to create an Arc Area Reactor that turns the Mirror Pantheon into a gigantic HallOfMirrors dimension. He also owns Astrograph Sorcerer and Chronograph Sorcerer, whose abilities over time and space put them in this category by default.]]
* StealthPun: The name of his final monster: [[spoiler:Alternative Alpha Armageddon Dragon, can be broken down into the acronym of AAAD = Ad. Which is basically saying that he's trying to get readers to read his origin story.]]

** NotSoStoic: That being said, there's a few moments where he's fairly [[LargeHam dramatic]], he's annoyed with [[spoiler:Fourze's Limbo-induced split personalities]], he seems to ''really'' hate Stephan Ainsworth [[spoiler:for being a major SpannerInTheWorks, and he truly loathes Noxicron.]]
* VillainBall: [[spoiler:His broadcast of the duel with Fourze counts as this, since it was ultimately nothing more than him rubbing his victory in everyone's faces. It screws him over in the end.]]
* VillainHasAPoint: [[spoiler: During his battle with Fourze he does not sugarcoat about the fact that practically everything the CMC went through was because ''no one'' was there to save them and that they had to do this on their own and as he says this, it cuts to scenes of the Kamen Rider Club, the Mane 6, Gangrel and even the House of Prophecy gods who ''could have'' done something to the CMC but ended up making things worse[[note]]The KRC lied to the Mane 6 about what happened to the CMC, the Mane 6 did nothing to prepare for the chaos, Gangrel trapped his pony friends in Limbo and the House of Prophecy did nothing to warn anyone about Limbo's machinations[[/note]].]]
* VillainousBreakdown: [[spoiler:Is utterly floored when Elena gathers the hope energy of everyone in the Pantheon, and upon learning that Noxicron pulled a VillainousRescue, truly loses it.]]
* VillainRespect: [[spoiler: Delivers a bit of this to the CMC for how they've managed to survive all of the trauma they placed on him and notes that Fourze tanking ''all'' of their attacks was "very self sacrificing." * CastingAShadow: [[spoiler:The Shadow Mirror archetype he creates from the energies of the Mirror Pantheon are all DARK attribute, as are Astrograph Sorcerer, Chronograph Sorcerer, Void Expanse Dragon, and Alternative Alpha Armageddon Dragon.]]
* ColdHam: [[spoiler:His duel with Fourze has him speak quite the dramatic dialogue, but it's all said in a rather stoic and stable disposition.]]
* TheCorrupter: [[spoiler:He finishes what Limbo started by getting the CMC to cross the DespairEventHorizon and accept a future as his servants.]]
* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulu: What seems to be the reason why he chose to even attack the Pantheon to begin. [[spoiler:By stealing two of their gods, he believed that it would prove that he could weather the threat of Lamash. It actually ''was'' working, but then he grabbed the VillainBall and sealed his own fate.]]
* DramaPreservingHandicap: [[spoiler:Uses a test deck derived from the Mirror Pantheon and Limbo's energies instead of his regular one, which is implied to be much more powerful.]]
* EveryoneHasStandards: [[spoiler:He points out that his goal is ultimately to ''steal'' from the Pantheon, not destroy it. Given that his goal involved an inter-dimensional sentient darkness that traumatized everyone however, it doesn't really stop Elena from gathering the energy needed to empower Gentaro.]]
* EvilGloating: He usually doesn't do it, but decides to during the final battle [[spoiler: displaying the duel between him and Fourze to the main Pantheon and stating that ''they'' will be the reason that the CMC will, to quote BROKEN Matt, "fade away and classify themselves as obsolete".]]
* EvilSorcerer: [[spoiler:He has unknown plans, with clearly malevolent at worst, and morally ambiguous means at best of fullfilling them.]]
* EvilVersusEvil: [[spoiler:His conflict with Noxicron's faction reeks of this. There is an organization trying to stop them both known as the Hermetic Association AND keep the world safe from the destruction both sides could bring to the world. Of course, said organization does not exist in the Pantheon, so Rudolf just has to deal with Noxicron, who just decides to leave and let Rudolf finish his experiment.]]
* {{Foil}}: He's The Slasher's: they both have a face similar to someone else covered by a black cloak, have a reptilian animal motif and they also have unknown plans. [[spoiler: The major difference is that The Slasher, despite his eccentricities, is GoodAllAlong--as he's what's left of Gentaro's goodness trying to stop Limbo from consuming this Pantheon--while Rudolf, a more straight-laced individual, is a ruthless wizard with potentially destructive ambitions -- as it's implied that in his universe, ''Rudolf'' is the reason Zarc and the Four Dimension Dragons exist.]]
* FatalFlaw: {{Pride}}, [[spoiler:like most Yugioh villains]]. He's extremely confident in his powers and plan, [[spoiler:even rebuking Noxicron's warnings about an "Empress of Depravity" named Lamash who could very well benefit from the aftermath of Rudolf's goals, not to mention Noxicron himself. ** [[spoiler:To summon his Integration Monster, Alternative Alpha Armageddon Dragon, Rudolf has to merge with it in a manner similar to Yami Marik and other characters who have done so with their monsters. However, its destruction does not harm Rudolf beyond losing the duel with Fourze.]]
* HijackedByGanon: [[spoiler:The story seems to be having Akato be the FinalBoss, but at the critical moment, Rudolf reveals that ''he's'' been the one pulling some of the strings, and effectively becomes the final threat. Unlike most examples however, Akato just throws his hands up in the air, accepts the loss, and leaves.]]
Noxicron specifically warns Fourze that this trait of Rudolf is a constant whenever it comes to his plans.]]
* {{Magitek}}: Seems to dabble in this, such as when he [[spoiler:creates an [[Anime/YuGiOhArcV Arc Area Reactor]], a sophisticated space-altering device with actual magic. Given that he comes from the same world as Akato and Noxicron, it makes sense.]]
* MysteriousPast: [[spoiler:We only get pieces of his background here and there. We know that he, Noxicron, and Akato come from an [[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12410540/1/Omen-of-Uncertainty-Part-I-Original-World-arc ARC-V based universe]], and Rudolf is apparently a major threat there, leading a massive army of dragon spirits. What complicates things are his physical similarities to [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Zarc Zarc]], and thus, his [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Dimensional_counterparts four components]]. Not to mention he owns a copy of [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Astrograph_Sorcerer Astrograph Sorcerer]] ''and'' its counterpart that never appeared in the anime: [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Chronograph_Sorcerer Chronograph Sorcerer]], and thus by extension is capable of [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Unity_Summon Integration Summon]] just like Zarc. Finally, we know very little about his personal history with Noxicron, nor just ''what'' either one is up to. It doesn't help that Rudolf is deliberately vague about it.]]
* OriginalCharacter: Quite obviously doesn't exist in any official canon, being created for [[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12410540/1/Omen-of-Uncertainty-Part-I-Original-World-arc another story]] and playing a role in ''Through Darkness and Mirrors''.
* TheStoic: Despite his actions [[spoiler:and speech down below]], Rudolf himself has a fairly straight-laced disposition.
* VillainRespect: [[spoiler: Delivers a bit of this to the CMC for how they've managed to survive all of the trauma they placed on him and notes that Fourze tanking ''all'' of their attacks was "very self sacrificing." According to Noxicron however, Rudolf reserves this attitude only for those whom he views as experiments. His actual enemies receive no such respect.]]
* WalkingSpoiler: His presence ''completely'' alters the climax of the story.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: [[spoiler:Claims that his goal of ending Mageia Apporipsi is not inherently evil, but that he must make these sacrifices. No one believes him, or wants to hear him out, with Fourze even comparing Rudolf to the [[NotSoWellIntentionedExtremist Incubators]]. Hurting his credibility in this department is how Noxicron points out that Rudolf's goal is ultimately a contradictory mess.

These characters that don't truly fit in the other categories. Their origins differ heavily as a result.

!!Unknown Thief (Ratchet & Clank)
The real identity of the thief is Angela Cross, but she's been missing since the events of ''[[VideoGame/RatchetDeadlocked Deadlocked]]'', yet someone has found her attire and is using it as a disguise for their own agenda. [[spoiler:There's actually two sharing the outfit: Nora Valkyrie, and Kairi]].
----
* AntiVillain
* BloodKnight: [[spoiler:She's this when Nora is in the attire]].
* RedOniBlueOni: The thief has two incarnations depending on who's wearing the attire; [[spoiler:Nora is the red, and Kairi is the blue]].
* SamusIsAGirl: This thief, like Angela, is female.

!!Courtney Gears (Ratchet & Clank)
A {{sadist}} EvilDiva working for Dr. Nefarious. She's allied with the proxy, but apparently has different agendas.
----
* AndYourLittleDogToo: Gears abducts a seriously ill Sora to torture him and punish Ratchet for what [[VideoGame/RatchetAndClankUpYourArsenal happened in Obani Draco]].
* ArcVillain: She's the antagonist of the third act of "Muse Hysteria" before [[spoiler:Tachyon]] is summoned.
* TheBadGuyWins: While indirect, [[spoiler:she succeeded in harming Sora with the Cursed Coach, which started the chain of events that lead to his leg amputation]].
* ForTheEvulz: This is one reason why Gears joined the Darkness Proxy.
* ItsPersonal: The ''other'' reason why she joined. Gears did ''not'' take her defeat and disgrace at the hands of Ratchet very well, and also resents Sora for defacing her lair (by accident).
* KarmicDeath: When Ruby and Carmelita save Maxwell from the asylum, Gears summons the Cursed Coach to stop them from escaping. Said Unversed drops a bomb onto the EvilDiva and her dancers as they gloat, killing them in a matter ''eerily similar'' to [[Disney/{{Cinderella}} Lady Tremaine and her daughters]].
* PsychoForHire: For the proxy. [[spoiler:It is also implied that Gears is secretly an ally of Master Xehanort, and has plans to hand the Princesses of Heart (and Tachyon) to him]].
* UncertainDoom: She and her two remaining dancers were burned alive inside the asylum, and are still missing as of ''Rainbow Rivalries''.
* VillainousBreakdown: She snaps when Sora unwittingly vomits inside her temple.

!!Prince Hans (Frozen)
The 13th in line to the Southern Islands' throne, and driven to villainy out of resentment towards his elder brothers, Arendale, and [[NoodleIncident dozens of other kingdoms who kicked him out]].
----
* BadPeopleAbuseAnimals: [[spoiler:Hans is willing to decapitate a Pokémon in the midst of his VillainousBreakdown. The Pokémon in question is an [[PinataEnemy Audino]].]]
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: He hates Jak because he can't understand why the latter, a [[FallenPrincess Fallen Prince]], has lived a ([[VideoGame/JakIIRenegade mostly]]) happy life.
* EvilCounterpart: To Jak.
* EvilIsPetty: [[spoiler:Joined the Darkness Proxy to get revenge on Elena and Gentaro because he got jealous that someone like ''Gentaro'' had the hand of Elena (a princess). Neither of them liked that reasoning at all.]]
* HateSink: In-universe. Hans didn't have good reputation initially, but [[spoiler:his spite-fueled alliance with the Proxy -- which includes his petty reason to cause Gentaro's despair -- and trying to chop Audino's head off]] ultimately has him replace Mitsuzane as the main target for the angry mob.
* KickThemWhileTheyreDown: [[spoiler:Hans has now qualms about attacking a wheelchair-bound Riku near the end]].
* LateArrivalSpoiler: The film's PlotTwist in Hans being an EvilPrince and a ManipulativeBastard is open here.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: [[spoiler:After his attempts to kill Jak ends in him snapping and attacking an innocent Pokémon before cutting an oxygen tube to keep Riku in a stable condition, Hans calms down and ''horrified'' on how he allowed his jealousy to control him and become a HateSink to everyone and it gets worse when word spreads on how he made Elena trigger the Iron Giant's rage]].
* TheResenter: He's still holding a grudge against Anna and Elsa for what happened in Arendale.
* TheUsurper: His main goal is to marry into a royal family, kill them off in secret, and become the new King. It is hinted that he tried this with several kingdoms, including [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyXII Dalmasca]] and [[VideoGame/JakAndDaxter Haven City]]. He was kicked out and declared PersonaNonGrata in all cases.
* VillainousBreakdown: [[spoiler:Busted in his attempts to kill a comatose Jak, Hans tries to decapitate Audino before slashing a breathing tube Riku was wearing to slow him down. He's pulled out by Carmelita's ape mercenaries while cursing both Riku and Jak]].
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Hans' fate after "The Friendship Asylum" is not revealed. This was intentional, as a sequel to ''Frozen'' has been announced, and the authors don't want contradictions.
* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: ''Everyone'' in the pantheon hates him. It doesn't help that [[spoiler:he [[VideoGame/KingdomHeartsIII might be in league]] with Master Xehanort]].

!![[spoiler:Emperor Percival Tachyon]] (Ratchet & Clank)
Spoiler character from "Muse Hysteria". [[spoiler:A Cragmite who purged the Lombaxes and brought the Polaris Galaxy into a fascist dictatorship for 20 years before Ratchet defeated him]].
----
* BadBoss: If one of his lines during the FinalBoss indicate, [[spoiler:Tachyon mistreated the Drophyds, viewing them as disposable, and doesn't show any emotion when he tells the party that [[Disney/TheLittleMermaid King Triton]] killed them all sometime after the Battle of Fastoon]].
* BigBad: Of "Muse Hysteria"
* DarkIsEvil: His species are Pureblood Heartless originating from Ratchet's unnamed universe when the World was divided during the Keyblade War.
* EvilerThanThou: [[spoiler:He's an AbsoluteXenophobe, ANaziByAnyOtherName, an OmnicidalManiac, and MadeOfEvil. Even the Proxy consider him a monster. Tachyon is also one of the few to surpass ''Xehanort'' in evil]].
* FeelingOppressedByTheirExistence: He hates ''everything'' that isn't his species, but his main target are the [[spoiler:lombaxes, given they banished the Cragmites in the past]]. He also hates Keyblade Wielders because his species are weak to them.
* KingMook: [[spoiler:Inverted. Tachyon is fairly weak compared to most Cragmites/Heartless, physically wise, and has to rely on other Cragmites to do the fighting. But when he has to fight on his own, watch out!]]
* MadeOfEvil: He's a Heartless, after all.
* SealedEvilInACan: Courtesy of the Princesses of Heart, he was trapped in the Realm of Darkness until the proxy set him free. He's banished again at the end [[spoiler:to the [[Disney/TheLionKing Pride Lands]]]].
* VillainTeamUp: Discussed. Courtney Gears admits in ''The Friendship Asylum'' that she had plans to take [[spoiler:Tachyon]] to Master Xehanort to see what happens if they team-up. Fortunately, she's stopped before it happens.
* WalkingSpoiler: Oh boy...

!!Penelope Mouse (Sly Cooper)
A disgraced former member of the Cooper Gang, and Bentley's ex-girlfriend.
----
* CassandraTruth: Penelope does show everyone the video of Mitsuzane's torture, but it was a complete accident. Unfortunately, she's so well-hated, that the pantheon assumes that she's working for the proxy to get even with the Cooper Gang, so nobody is willing to listen to her. It's reached the point where Riku ''punches'' her in the face.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Like most villains, she views the Darkness Proxy as a threat, and is even willing to team-up with her ex-boyfriend turned rival Bentley to stop them.
* EvilFormerFriend[=/=]PsychoExGirlfriend: To the Cooper Gang for the former, and to Bentley for the latter, whom she tried to murder in ''Thieves in Time''.
* NotMeThisTime: The Cooper Gang suspect that Penelope is a secret ally of the proxy, and [[MurderTheHypotenuse was the one responsible for Sly being corrupted]]. She isn't, and only helped them out by accident, but they still won't believe her.
* TheRival: To Bentley following their nasty break-up.
** RivalTurnedEvil
* TreacheryIsASpecialKindOfEvil: Her betrayal of the Cooper Gang isn't doing Penelope any favors when it comes to proving herself innocent. Even Sora, who can always see the good before the bad in people's hearts, sees nothing in Penelope and [[HateAtFirstSight attacked her at first sight]].

!!Neyla/Clock-La (Sly Cooper)
A former Interpol inspector who was secretly a Klaww Gang member alongside Dimitri. She had betrayed her mentor, Arpeggio, and merged with Clockwerk to become Clock-La, but died before she became truly immortal. Now she wants to use the asylum for her own gains, and is manipulating Oogie Boogie for her own gains.
----
* CatsAreMean: Compared with [[DarkIsNotEvil Riku's Absol]], Neyla is one mean feline who only cares for herself.
* ChronicBackstabingDisorder: She is merely a freelance villain who used all sides to her own advantage. At one point, she even teamed up with Kairi and Team JNPR for her own selfish desires.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: All she accomplished here was purifying Sora and Jaune; with both defeated, the asylum is left defenseless, and in anger, it throws Neyla into an oubliette, where she remains trapped until it is destroyed.
* TheRival: To Jack Skellington.
* TheStarscream: Neyla's goal is to overthrow the Guardians, become the new leader through YouKilledItYouBoughtIt, and use the All-Star Power to achieve immortality as Clock-La by building a new body with parts stolen from Dr. Finkelstein.
* UncertainDoom: Neyla was trapped inside the asylum during the last 1/4 of ''The Friendship Asylum'', with her fate not revealed until ''Diamond Adventure'', where it's revealed she climbed out of the oubliette and escaped after the asylum was burned down, but before the Heart was destroyed.

!!Humongous (Labyrinth)
The guardian of the Goblin City, who's really just a tiny goblin controlling a large mecha from its head. Both Humongous and the mecha are captured by the Proxy to keep Queen Chrysalis imprisoned, leading to Jareth being involved.
----
* PunchClockVillain

!!Perry the Parasol (Super Mario Bros.)

A boy turned parasol who ends up in various predicaments.
----
* AndIMustScream: As he's a parasol, he's incapable of movement. [[spoiler: He's shown in the final story screaming and crying for someone to save him when he gets stuck in Limbo.]]
* BreakTheCutie: ''Literally'' in ''The Friendship Asylum as Yugi snaps him over his knee before '''setting the boy on fire'''.
* IntergenerationalFriendship: With Seto Kaiba in the final story.
* KillItWithFire: Again, he's ''set on fire'' by Yugi.

!!The Slasher/Sota

A black hooded figure known for the slash marks he makes on his targets with his sword. Reveals himself in ''Through Darkness and Mirrors'' as [[spoiler: Gentaro's detached goodness, an indicator that Gentaro is still alive]] who has news that, if the Pantheon doesn't figure out something soon, Limbo is going to consume them [[spoiler: and he himself is living on borrowed time.]]
----

* {{Adorkable}}: He's just really trying to get along with others when he's not on the clock.
* AnimalMotif: Snakes. He wears a black hooded cloak, his facial scars are like scales, and [[spoiler: him fading away]] is like him shedding skin.
* AntiVillain: Type II. [[spoiler: He's stuck this way due to the Darkness within Limbo corrupting Gentaro and he's unable to do anything about it.]]
* BeneathTheMask: He actually doesn't like what he has to do, but only does it so he can save the Pantheon [[spoiler: and figure out a way to reunite with Gentaro.]]
* BerserkButton: Destroying or insulting his Dark Synchro monsters, ''especially'' Muñeca, will be your worst mistake.
** He also dislikes being called garbage/trash/waste, etc.
* BlackCloak: Constantly wears one, no matter the situation and weather. It is based off of the cloths hanging on Lady Muñeca's arms. [[spoiler: It's to keep his similarities to Gentaro hidden.]]
* BrutalHonesty: Does not sugarcoat on Yugi that what the boy did in ''Muse Hysteria'' has become the catalyst for the final story.
* CallingYourAttacks: Has to call out the type of ability he wants his cloak/katana to enact ranging from elements ("Fire", "Elec", "Water") to stranger utilities ("Pen", "Smoke", "Spike", "Chainsaw")
* CameBackWrong: [[spoiler:''Something'' had to happen for Gentaro's ''good half'' to turn out...off.]]
* CatchPhrase: "Is that so?" combined with a QuizzicalTilt.
* CharacterTic: His CatchPhrase and QuizzicalTilt combined with an arm under his chin and the opposite hand holding the elbow. If his mood is light-hearted, his head is tilted to the right with the right hand under the chin. If he's sarcastic or pissed off, he tilts his head to the left and his arms switch positions.
** He also flicks the katana out of its sheath then back in to replicate the "tick tock" of a clock.
** He also likes smoothing back his hair (even with a hood on) [[spoiler: That's one of Gentaro's tics.]]
* CreepyDoll: Wields a Karakuri deck when he duels Yami and Joey and has the Maidens of Mictal by his side. He also is described with the physical appearance of one with skin the color of porcelain.
* CreepyGood: A black cloak wearing person who speaks in a collection of {{Double Entendre}}s and his monsters are collection of {{Creepy Doll}}s, not to mention that he [[spoiler: is the goodness of Gentaro's soul given human form]].
* CurbStompBattle: His duels have him flat on his ass. He doesn't last 2 turns with Kaiba (although he was only dueling to cause a distraction).
* DarkIsNotEvil: Wears black, uses a dark sword, has Dark Synchro monsters, [[spoiler: but is Gentaro's ''goodness'']] and he's kooky, dorky, and just really wants to befriend others. [[spoiler: Ironically this makes him ''nicer'' than the real thing, since Gentaro himself is being corrupted by a shard of the darkness within Limbo.]]
* DoubleEntendre: His dialogue to Yugi and Joey in Act I of ''Through Darkness and Mirrors'' just ''reeks'' of this. [[spoiler: He's actually trying to provoke Yugi into using the Keystone of Limbo that's in his soul, but to everyone else, it looks like he's some StalkerWithACrush.]]
* EarlyBirdCameo: Appears in the final scene (un-named) in "Shattered Illusion", talking to BROKEN Matt.
* EvilerThanThou: In a way, he's actually ''worse'' than Alt!Gentaro...[[spoiler: and he's supposed to be Gentaro's ''goodness''.]]
* {{Expy}}: Of Roxas, bearing a smiliar look to the friendly protagonist and the angst he has on trying to be a person (or rather reunite as a person). He even states that he is like a Nobody.
** He also shows some similarities with Hector Rivera too.
* FacialHorror: He has burns on his face patterned after snake scales. [[spoiler: They gradually form cracks as a reminder that he is breaking apart if he doesn't reunite with Gentaro.]]
* {{Foil}}: Of Alternate!Gentaro since both of them are alternate versions of the true Gentaro Kisaragi, both are fans of the corruption, both are ''vastly'' different from the original Gentaro Kisaragi with black clothes and have a penchant for mad laughter. [[spoiler: Their attitudes toward Yugi are different; the former shows remorse for initiating the plan that would make Yugi send the CMC to Limbo, the latter does not give a shit as to Yugi's mental health if he can squeeze the Keystone of Limbo out of the boy. Moreover, The Slasher ''is'' part of the original Gentaro.]]
* GoneHorriblyRight: [[spoiler: He's supposed to get Yugi to activate the Keystone of Limbo...but he wasn't expecting the pressure that all the other gods have hounded on the boy for six months that causes Yugi to ''nearly'' kill him...and then immediately collapse from exhaustion and ruin his plans.]]
* IdenticalStranger: Everyone comments how he looks like Gentaro, but he corrects them by saying he looks "sort of" like Gentaro. [[spoiler: Justified; he's Gentaro's goodness.]]
* IllKillYou: Repeats this over and over against n as he strangles Kaiba after the later destroys the Lake of Reincarnation.
* InsistentTerminology: Has to tell gods that he doesn't look ''exactly'' like Gentaro, but "Sort of" like Gentaro. [[spoiler: That's because he is Gentaro's goodness.]]
* InTheHood: Usually keeps his appearance covered by the hood of his black cloak.
* JekyllAndHyde: To Gentaro himself. [[spoiler: Sota is actually all that is ''left'' of the goodness in Gentaro's soul since the darkness within Limbo has been feeding the real Gentaro nothing but negative emotions and corrupting him.]]
* KatanasAreJustBetter: Wields a katana as his weapon that can be enchanted with different elements.
** SpellBlade: The elements include fire, electricity, ice, water and air. [[spoiler: Because he's using the Astroswitches that has those elements.]]
* LargeHam: He's loud, bombastic, laughs at everything and everything and loves being dramatic. Fitting that he's [[spoiler: Gentaro's goodness who is also a huge ham.]]
* LaughingMad: After [[spoiler: he sees Yugi give into his hatred, empowered by the Keystone of Limbo, he starts laughing.]]
** CryLaughing: [[spoiler: By the time all of the plans to get the Keystone have failed, he breaks down into this.]]
* ManipulativeBastard: Ooh is he ever. His debut chapter in ''Through Darkness and Mirrors'' is him using his Karakuri deck to {{Troll}} his opponents and get them to the position so that he could [[spoiler: 1) brainwash Joey and 2) destroy the Spellbinding Circle card that is trapping Yugi, so he can get Yugi to become corrupted by the Keystone of Limbo.]]
* MeaningfulName: Sota is from "Sort of" because of how he looks "Sort of" like Gentaro.
** {{Tuckerization}}: He's actually named after Gentaro's actor (Sota Fukushi).
* MythologyGag: Being compared to "trash" is from [[spoiler: the first episode of ''Fourze''; Miu calls Gentaro "Trashiest of Trash" (in English) and Gentaro thinks that she's calling him "Manliest of Men".]]
* NoSocialSkills: Nearly anytime he's talking to Yugi, it ends up as ThatCameOutWrong and sounds like he's a ShipperOnDeck for Yugi and the Pharaoh or Yugi with either Kaiba or Joey (or something more). None of them like it.
* PhraseCatcher: Being told that he looks exactly/just like Gentaro to which he replies that he look "sort of like Gentaro".
* SwissArmyWeapon: His cloak can transform into a variety of weapons. [[spoiler: It's because he uses the Fourze Driver as the basis for it.]]
* VillainousBreakdown:
** Unleashes this during his final turn in his Duel against Yami and Joey. And it turns out to be a bad thing since it makes him too unhinged and not understanding that Yugi honestly wants to ''kill him''.
** Unleashes this once more after Kaiba evaporates the Lake of Reincarnation and foregoes the katana to strangle the guy.
* WalkingSpoiler: His real identity plays a pivotal role in ''Through Darkness and Mirrors''.
* WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds: Why is he causing so much trouble and harassing Yugi? [[spoiler: He is Gentaro's goodness that was ejected when Limbo wormed its way into the real Gentaro and he need the Keystone so Limbo will be pacified or else ''both'' he and Gentaro will fade away and classify themselves as obsolete. He honestly wants to explain this, but knows that his appearance as someone who looks like Gentaro won't be accepted, and explaining that the real Gentaro and Elena are causing an extreme plan involving the Cutie Mark Crusaders will mean that he will be persecuted.]]

!!Rudolf Dragnov

An enigmatic sorcerer with unknown plans, but that have little to do with the Pantheon. [[spoiler:He's revealed to be the one behind Akato and Noxicron's involvement with the Tale, and [[HijackedByGanon takes up the mantle]] of the FinalBoss.]]
----
* AmbitionIsEvil: [[spoiler:His goal of ending Mageia Apporipsi is obviously quite far-reaching...and he's willing to go to very amoral means of accomplishing it.]]
* AllYourPowersCombined: [[spoiler:He has an Integration Monster: Alternative Alpha Armageddon Dragon, which is a Pendulum, Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz monster all at the same time, just like [[https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Supreme_King_Z-ARC_(anime) Z-ARC]]. Thankfully, it's ''not'' as powerful as Z-ARC, but the fact that he could create such a card so easily is rather suspect...]]
* AnimalMotif: [[spoiler:Dragons. He even has dragon-like wings, and his hands, face, and probably the rest of his body are covered in scales.]]
* AttackOfThe50FootWhatever: [[spoiler:Several of Rudolf's dragons fall into this category, in particular Void Expanse Dragon and Alternative Alpha Armageddon Dragon.]]
* BeyondTheImpossible: [[spoiler:When summoning Alternative Alpha Armageddon Dragon and Void Expanse Dragon, Rudolf is able to use ''Dark Synchro'' monsters in place of regular ones[[note]]Both require at least one Synchro Monster to be Integration/Fusion Summoned[[/note]]. Justified in how Dark Synchro is a sub-category of Synchro Monsters and can thus fulfill the requirements.]]
* BilingualBonus: [[spoiler:Mageia Apporipsi and Mageia Apodachi are two phenomenon mentioned by Rudolf. The names are in Greek, and when translated, reveal themselves to stand for 'Magic Rejection' and 'Magic Acceptance'.]]
* BlackCloak: A long and tattered one that hides his face [[spoiler:which is an older version of [[Anime/YuGiOhArcV Zarc's]].]]
* CastingAShadow: [[spoiler:The Shadow Mirror archetype he creates from the energies of the Mirror Pantheon are all DARK attribute, as are Astrograph Sorcerer, Chronograph Sorcerer, Void Expanse Dragon, and Alternative Alpha Armageddon Dragon.]]
* TheCorrupter: [[spoiler:He finishes what Limbo started by getting the CMC to cross the DespairEventHorizon and accept a future as his servants.]]
* DramaPreservingHandicap: [[spoiler:Uses a test deck derived from the Mirror Pantheon and Limbo's energies instead of his regular one, which is implied to be much more powerful.]]
There is apparently an additional organization trying to stop them both AND keep the world safe from the destruction both sides could bring to the world.
* FusionDance: [[spoiler:To summon his Integration Monster, Alternative Alpha Armageddon Dragon, Rudolf has to merge with it in a manner similar to Yami Marik and other characters who have done so with their monsters.
* {{Jerkass}}: Seriously, [[spoiler:unlike Akato and Noxicron, who at least try to be polite to the Pantheon residents while causing havoc, Rudolf is utterly dismissive of them, despite how many of these characters could turn him into dust.]]
* JerkWithAHeartOfJerk: [[spoiler:While he may seem sympathetic to the CMC for what they've gone through, in reality he just views them as experiments and his "consoling" of them is just meant to ensure that they don't fight his magic while it transforms them. Noxicron specifically warns Fourze that this trait of Rudolf is a constant whenever it comes to his plans.]]
* LackOfEmpathy: [[spoiler:Gives no cares whatsoever that numerous gods have suffered in Limbo, clearly didn't care that he destroyed the wills of every soul in the Mirror Pantheon, and has no qualms using the CMC's suffering to turn them into his servants, barring a comment on how these little girls have managed to stay alive after ''everything'' went to hell.]]
* TheStoic: Despite his actions [[spoiler:and speech down below]], Rudolf himself has a very straight-laced disposition.
Hurting his credibility in this department is how Noxicron points out that Rudolf's goal is ultimately a contradictory mess.]]
