A major character in ''Dark Angel''. He is a mysterious and powerful being who claims to be Gillian Lennox’s ‘guardian angel’ and helps her to fulfil her heart’s desires and gain more self-confidence. However, over time, Gillian starts to realise he has a more sinister side and begins questioning his motives.

Some of his behaviour is also implied to be a JerkassFacade to protect himself from the pain of [[spoiler: being stuck between worlds and his accidental killing of a child]].

Her innocent younger siblings were also tortured and they were all sentenced to burnt at the stake. For extra KickTheDog, Suzanne’s siblings were supposed to be strangled before being burnt because they were only kids, but the executioner wasn’t paid enough and so burnt them alive in front of Suzanne. As a result, she hates humans and has vowed revenge on them, killing any humans she comes across [[spoiler: although when Thea sends her back to the afterlife, she notices how sad Suzanne looks, possibly indicating she feels remorse]].

* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Had this reaction after accidentally [[spoiler: killing a young girl whilst performing dangerous magic]]. He ended up getting hammered to try and numb the pain, [[spoiler: which ultimately led to his death in a car accident]].

* PoisonousFriend: To Gillian.
* TheReveal: It turns out in the end that ‘Angel’ [[spoiler: is actually a deceased witch named Gary Fargeon and a relative of the Harman family (he is not considered a Harman himself due to being descended from Emmeth Harman and witches are matrilineal)]].

* UnfinishedBusiness: Gillian tries to figure out what’s keeping him on earth to set him free and when she does, to convince him of this too. As it turns out, [[spoiler: it was having the body of the girl he killed be found, and the girl’s father and Gillian forgiving him for mistakes and wrongdoings]].
