* CrashIntoHello: Candy first meets Rosallya by bumping into her in the hallway.

* HairTriggerTemper: She is quite hotheaded and has no issue at all sharing her opinion when angered, whatever it may be. She cools down just as fast.
* HypocriticalHumor: Calls out Castiel for not knowing what Lysander's parents look like despite being Lysander's best friend. Castiel proceeds to call her out for ''dating'' Leigh and not having met his parents.
* InformedAttractiveness: Judging by Candy's thoughts, Rosalya is the most beautiful girl in school. Considering most, if not, all of the characters are drawn to be attractive in some way, it's hard to tell if she really is.
* SavvyGuyEnergeticGirl: Is the energetic girl to Lysander's savvy guy.
* SpoiledBrat: In the play arc, she is hired to make the costumes and ends up spending ''way'' over-budget. She and her mother outright state that this is a common occurrence. She can also be a bit demanding and childish when it comes to her work. However, when her behavior is pointed out, she'll quickly apologize and make-up for it.
%% StalkerWithACrush: Not her, but she appeals to these types of girls. She used to take pictures of guys while they were unaware and sell them to girls who liked them.
* WhatTheHellHero: If you decide to steal Leigh in Episode 6, she'll give Candy a stern talking to at the beginning of the next episode.

Kim is a punkish girl who hates math, hates English, and is easily annoyed when things don't go right. Still, she's a friendly, dependable girl who comes through when Candy needs her. She appears to live an exciting life outside of school that Candy is curious about, but she can't stand drama and prefers to stay out of it. Kim is the most easygoing and laid back of all the characters, but make her mad and she can whip out some pretty sharp insults.

* CoolBigSister: They're the same age, but she acts this way towards Candy once they become friends.
* TheComplainerIsAlwaysWrong: Subverted. In Episode 11, Kim complains about how hard the race to which Candy tells her to stop complaining and enjoy the race. Later on, Candy starts complaining about the difficulty as well to whoever her partner is and he tells her to shut up.
* OddFriendship: She's extroverted and brash whereas her best friend Violette is very shy and introverted. One of their shared interests is art.

* {{Tomboy}}: She's sporty and prefers shorts to skirts and dresses.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: She's the tomboy to Violette's girly-girl.

A middle-school kid who is the self-proclaimed Number 1 fan of Lysander. She ''loves'' Lysander so if he likes Candy, she ''really'' will not love her. Still Nina is a cheerful and energetic girl who really just wants to help her idol. She introduces herself to Candy as Lysandra and even gives her a 'Team Lysander' T-shirt. You can join her one-person fanclub and stay or she can kick you out if Lysander doesn't let her hug him.

* ClingyJealousGirl: She ''really'' likes Lysander and ''really doesn't'' like Candy if she believes there's anything between the two of them.
* CuteAndPsycho: She's cute and mostly upbeat and happy. However, if she thinks that Candy likes Lysander and that he likes her back, then a much more scary side of Nina comes out. Her angry design strikes fear into the heart of Candy.
* ElegantGothicLolita: Her HSL sprite has a distinctly Gothic lolita design that includes a touch of elegance.
* {{Expy}}: With her GothicLolita style, blonde hair in pigtails, obsession with one man, cheery and upbeat personality with a terrifying temper, and a tragic backstory involving her parents, Nina can easily bring to mind Misa Amane from ''Manga/DeathNote''.
* GirlishPigtails: She generally wears her hair back into two low-hanging pigtails.
* HopelessSuitor: Even when Lysander doesn't like Candy that much he still doesn't take Nina's interest in him seriously. He assumes she'll just grow out of it.
* PrecociousCrush: She's a middle schooler crushing on a high school student.
* StalkerWithACrush: She super loves Lysander and often follows him around.
* ThisMeansWar: She will say this word-for-word if you choose to hug Lysander in HSL Episode 17.

In ''High School Life'', Amber is Sweet Amoris' resident mean girl. From the outset, she makes it clear she doesn't like Candy and there is little you can do to get her to change her mind. She is who she is and she isn't afraid to show it, unless acting innocent gives her an advantage. Still, despite her unpleasant tendencies, there are hints that she's not a completely bad person. Her two best friends are Charlotte and Li. She is the younger twin sister of Nathaniel, whom she has a complicated relationship with.

In ''University Life'', Amber comes back into Candy's life as a struggling model. During the intervening years, she did some soul-searching and has realized that her treatment of Candy was abhorrent. She wants to bury the hatchet and start fresh.

* AlphaBitch: Definitely was one during high school: rich, haughty, a bully, and even had her own girl posse.
* ArtEvolution: Since her introduction in 2011, she's gotten a few updates and a redesign. * AttentionWhore: She loves being the center of attention, for good or bad. She goes so far as to lock Candy into the basement on the offchance that it'll give her a better shot at getting the leading role in their school's play.
* AwLookTheyReallyDoLoveEachOther: In HSL, there are moments where it's clear she does care and worry about her brother. In UL, it's more apparent that the twins care about one another.
* BeautyIsNeverTarnished:
** Averted in Episode 9 where you can see the results of her nut allergy.
** Played straight in Episode 28, where after [[spoiler: her TraumaticHaircut, she receives an updated look which just as attractive as the original. Unfortunately, this does nothing to combat her ego]].
* ClingyJealousGirl: In HSL, She doesn't like you getting close to Castiel. However she never talks to him about it, just takes it out on you.
* DumbBlonde: She blonde and not terribly bright, a fact that Candy refers to on more than one occasion.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: In HSL, even she's unsettled by Deborah's manipulative tactics.
* HesBack: And '''not''' in a good way. The first thing she does in episode 24 is get your candy detention by stealing (ripping apart) your homework assignment. What's worse is she later on tries to lie about to Nathaniel (who thankfully doesn't believe her at all).
* HiddenDepths: There are small but noticeable hints that there are more facets to her personality than the default AlphaBitch.
* InformedAttribute: She's stated to be the most popular girl at Sweet Amoris, but none of her classmates (and even teachers) seem to like her.
* ItsAllAboutMe: She's convinced Nathaniel's duty as the student body president is to let her get away with everything, calling her out makes him unworthy of the position. If you dare to defend yourself, you are the bad guy, obviously.
* KickTheDog: In early episodes, she doesn't care at all about how her actions will affect Nathaniel, and often uses her position as her parent's favorite to manipulate him (to be fair, she doesn't know that he is [[spoiler: being abused.]]) During Castiel's arc, she let your candy, who was already being ostracized by everyone, take the blame for her prank on Deborah. Later on, in episode 32, she mocks Capucine to the point of tears about [[spoiler: dating a nerdy 15-year-old]], for which your candy thinks that even though Capucine isn't the nicest person, it's horrible for Amber to take advantage of her low self esteem, especially considering Amber is the only person Capucine is loyal to.
* MySisterIsOffLimits: A gender-flipped variant: Amber warns Candy not to get close to her brother or else she'll have her to deal with.
* ParentalFavoritism: Nathaniel says she's a daddy's girl but it appears their mom also prefers her. %%Flesh out later.
* SecretKeeper: Subverted. She pretends to know what's going on at her house to get a new cellphone from you. In truth, she didn't have any idea as to what was going on.
* SitcomArchNemesis: From the getgo, Amber views Candy as her adversary. The only person she hates more than Candy is Deborah.
* SmugSnake: She looks down at Candy with haughty condesion, and treats her friends litte better.

* SpoiledBrat: Her wealthy parents let her get away with essentially whatever she wants. They both dote on her far more than her brother.
* StickyFingers: Steals Candy's money, steals Kentin's money, steals Dajan's necklace, steals Melody's snacks, steals Candy's snacks, steals a stamp...
* TookALevelInKindness: Soon after she runs into Candy, she explains that she sees now that what did to Candy during high school was wrong. Candy herself remarks how strange it is to see Amber treating her with respect, and even being friendly.
* TraumaticHaircut: Instead of cutting Priya's hair, Priya takes the scissors from her and cuts Amber's. While she is initially upset about it, she uses it as an opportunity to give herself a makeover.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: During childhood, Amber was the nicer twin and Nathaniel the bully. His bullying combined with her parent's doting turned her into the spoiled brat that Candy first sees. When Candy returns to the city, Amber's initially kind personality has more or less overshadowed her previously nasty attitude.

In ''High School Life'', Melody is a delegate in Sweet Amoris' student council. She's a nice, smart girl who is friendly to Candy from the moment they meet, even inviting her to her slumber party. However, she very, very, '''very''' much likes Nathaniel. Even though she's already been rejected, it appears she still holds out hope that one day he'll return her feelings.

* ClingyJealousGirl: Melody becomes incredibly passive-aggressive almost every time she sees Candy near Nathaniel. For example, she makes wild accusations that are plainly not true if it means convincing herself that Candy isn't right for Nathaniel. This reaches its boiling point if you're on Nathaniel's route and she finds out you two are dating. She absolutely refuses to believe it's true at first.

* HopelessSuitor: Nathaniel has not shown any romantic interest in Melody, and though he's already rebuffed her once, she still can't help but have a crush on him. And since he's a possible route, there won't be any chance of her feelings being returned.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: She's usually a very sweet girl, but if she gets the vaguest hint that Candy's showing any romantic interest in Nathaniel, she grows very distant and cold; at one point even accuses Candy of being just like Amber, despite the fact that that's plainly not true. Once she finds out Candy and Nathaniel are officially dating, she refuses to believe it at first, even screaming at Candy. When she does accept it, she becomes noticeably short with her.

A shy, artsy girl, Violette is pretty quiet and mostly keeps to herself. Her timid exterior hides a kind soul, and the more she talks to Candy, the more she comes out of her shell. She is very talented in drawing and sewing and almost always carries around an art board.

* BewareTheQuietOnes: When Capucine badmouths Candy in front of her by saying she's holding her back, Violette's response is to shout at Capucine that Candy is her friend. Candy even notes that she's surprised at Violette's reaction.
* CharacterDevelopment: She slowly grows out of her shell more the more Candy interacts with her.
* EtTuBrute: She takes Deborah's side, before figuring out if what Deborah says about Candy is true or not.
* MeaningfulName: Aside from the fact that she's incredibly shy, she's also pretty fond of the color.
* MissingMom: Her mother died a few months before the start of the game. It's implied that this death made her even more withdrawn than she was before.
* OddFriendship: She's best friends with the outgoing and sporty Kim.

* ShrinkingViolet: She's very shy, quiet, and introvert.

Yeleen is Candy's prickly roommate.

Li is one of Amber's friends. She isn't seen all that often without Amber or Charlotte. She only appears in ''High School Life''.

* RavenHairIvorySkin: Has straight black hair and pale skin.
* UndyingLoyalty: Initially, Li would help Amber out, no matter if what she's asking is mean-spirited. After [[spoiler: Charlotte leaves]], though, she is seen arguing with Amber more frequently.

Charlotte is Amber's other friend. She only appears in ''High School Life''.

* AloofDarkHairedGirl: Charlotte is a brunette and the

Iris is the first friendly girl Candy meets and her first friend. Iris is a ditzy but kind girl who always manages to cheer Candy up whenever Amber's words get her down.

* BookDumb: She's not a very good student, especially in History and Math, but she tries.
* BreakTheCutie: Episodes 34 and 35 are about Iris having to deal with a cyberbully.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: She's very sweet and absentminded.
* DemotedToExtra: Soon after Rosalya's introduction, Iris' role as Candy's best friend is transferred to her. Her apperances become minial. In the later half of the game, her role becomes more promement.
* DisappearedDad: Her parents are divorced, and she and her brother live with their mom. Considering he doesn't bother to show up to the play like the rest of the parents, it can be assumed he's not really in the picture.
* EtTuBrute: Candy's first friend and confidate who took Deborah's side.
* OddFriendship: She gets along really well with Castiel, and the two are hinted to be close. During Episode 9, he's standoffish to Candy, and will refuse to do activities like swimming if she suggests it. However, when Iris suggests doing the same activity, he agrees and actually plays together with her. She also noticeably doesn't treat Castiel like a rebel or a bad boy as how he's projected, and legitimately thinks of him as her friend, and doesn't seem to notice that he treats people differently from her.

Peggy is a reporter for the school newspaper. It's easy to see why she got the job: she'll do anything to get the next greatest story and will constantly bother Candy (and everyone else) for the juicy details. Though not a bad person, Peggy does have a tendency to let her job blind her from doing what's right. Ultimately though, she's pretty harmless. She only appears in ''High School Life''.

%% {{Foil}}: Both she and Candy are nosy and like to get involved in other people's business. Unlike Candy, she doesn't really care how her own snooping affects people. She'll gladly publish basically any information she gets, regardless of how true they are.

* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Most of the students have a distaste for her and her nosy, reporter tendencies.
* FriendlessBackground: It's clear that Peggy wasn't close to anyone in the school before Candy came along and Candy even notes that Peggy must be feeling lonely since she's left out of many events. However, to hear Peggy tell it, she cares more about her journalism than making friends. It isn't until Candy starts actively being nice to her that she realizes it's better to have friends than to be alone all the time.
* HeroicBSOD: Briefly goes through one in the beginning of Episode 18. The heroic part may be argued for she claims her problem was the fact that her journalistic integrity was put into doubt and not the fact that she wrote a mean article about Candy.

* KickTheDog: Even if she doesn't actually cause any trouble, she ''will'' step on some toes if it means getting a great headliner. After overhearing and misinterpreting an interaction between Deborah and Candy, she writes a mean article about Candy and publishes it without even trying to get all of the facts first. To make things worse, she's eager to get Candy to read said article.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Even when she does do nice things, there's usually a selfish motivation behind it.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She cares more about having a story regardless of the facts. That being said, she does become contrite once she notices the affects that her actions have wrought.
* NeverMyFault: Initially, she blamed all of her KickTheDog moments on her victims, typically by saying they shouldn't have done so-and-so in the first place if they didn't want her to write about it. After the Deborah debacle, it appears she has finally learned to take responsibility (for writing false articles at least).
* NotSoDifferentRemark: Peggy points out that Candy's snooping behavior is not so different from hers. Candy can be just as nosy as her. Peggy even finds her insitance to meddle in other people's business to be worse than her digging into places where she doesn't belong.
* PetTheDog: In Episode 32, she goes with Candy to comfort Capucine and even promises not to write an article about Capucine's nerdy-looking boyfriend.
%% SecretKeeper: The only one who knows what the "big thing" the staff has planned for the school...or so she claims. Subverted when it turns out that she knew nothing and only pretended to have knowledge for the sake of her reputation.

* TookALevelInKindness: Peggy is noticeably much nicer and more considerate after understanding that her articles usually hurt more people than they help. This is best exemplified by her refusal to write about Capucine's boyfriend when she saw how upset Capucine. Before, she wouldn't have cared at all what Capucine thought.

Not the nicest girl you'll come across. Capucine is an Amber fan through and through and will hate on your candy just as Amber does. Though she isn't nearly as ruthless as her idol (though that is NOT for lack of trying) she's still doing everything she can to replicate your relationship with Amber.

* DubNameChange: Depending on the version, her name is either Karla (Spanish), Bia (Brazil), or Daisy (UK).
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Due to her wish to become apart of Amber's group, she isn't all that close to her other classmates, but she still hangs out with them from time to time.
* HiddenDepths: She's actually very knowledgeable about art. She's the only girl at Sweet Amoris (besides Candy and Rosalya) to be in a committed relationship, and her boyfriend doesn't look sterotypically attractive.

* SmugSnake: She tries to invoke this, but she isn't as good at it as Amber or Deborah. Candy doesn't even bother getting upset when she runs into Capucine, usually just brushing her off.

Deborah is Castiel's ex-girlfriend who came back for a visit. She used to go to Sweet Amoris before Candy's transfer. As a result, everyone thinks she's their best friend and she certainly acts the part. However, beneath the sweet and innocent act, she's a sly manipulator who will do anything to make Candy's life hell.

* BaitTheDog: Deborah offers a lot of good things: help with school work, compliments and confidence boosters, etc. Then she offers Castiel a position in her band as a guitarist only because she thinks Castiel will let her have all of the spotlight.
* BreakTheHaughty: Episode 17 is all about Candy and her allies breaking through Deborah's mask in order to show everyone her true intentions.
* CrocodileTears: She's very good at summoning fake tears without any problem.
* DubNameChange: Called "Deborah" in the US English version, and simply "Debbie" in the UK English version.
* HoistByHerOwnPetard: Several things lead to her downfall. 1) Pissing off the student body president. 2) Her fame-hungry nature. And 3) bragging to Candy about what's she's done and telling Candy about her true intentions. The second time she starts bragging said student body president comes into play.
* ManipulativeBitch: She tells Candy the story of her horrendous deeds because she knows Candy can't do anything about it. She has almost everyone in the school wrapped around her finger and the few who actually know how she really is are in the same boat as Candy.
* SmallNameBigEgo: She believes herself to be a great singer, but when she made it big, her sales weren't that great. It's heavily implied that the true musical talent in her band belonged to Castiel. This is why her manager was okay with dropping her when she said she thinks she found a better deal.
* VillainBall: Soon after meeting Candy, she tells Candy about her previous stint at Sweet Amoris, including how she manipulated Nathaniel and Castiel. She does this as warning to Candy not to cross her. However, this tale is what exactly lets Candy know her true intentions, kicking off her eventual downfall.
* VillainWithGoodPublicity: Very few students at Sweet Amoris knows what she's actually like, and her good reputation is what gives Candy a difficult time with forming allies.

A friend from Candy's former school, Lucy is sweet, pretty, and appears to be very popular with the boys. Candy reunites with her at the mall while she's doing what she does best: looking for a new boyfriend. At first, she sets her sights on Dakota but when Candy makes the mistake of telling Lucy about the boys from Sweet Amoris, Lucy reintegrates herself into Candy's life.

%% AbortedArc: Subverted. A couple of scenes in Episodes 19 and 20 imply that she's going to transfer to Sweet Amoris soon. However, she disappears for several episodes afterwards, her role in the story seemingly taken by Priya. She reappears in Episodes 29 and 30, and you talk to her on the phone in the next few episodes several times, in ways that imply some conflict involving her. She finally appears again in episode 37, where she tells you her parents have divorced and she's upset because her mother keeps bringing home different men. Though she tells you she's solved the conflict within the episode, it seems she's got her own involvement in the plot.
* TheCasanova: Her most prominent character trait: she rattles off a list of boys who she dated after Candy left and assumes a week of being single is a tragedy. She also sneaks into Sweet Amoris to flirt with every guy Candy knows.
* DramaQueen: When it comes to her love life, she can be a bit dramatic. Even if she never gets with the guy, Lucy will moan and groan about having a broken heart and how tragic it is that a great and powerful love ended so soon. She'll immediately cheer up once she sees another cute and single guy.
* DubNameChange: Her original French name is Laeti.
* {{Foil}}: To Candy, who either cannot decide which boy to like or is too shy to approach the one she does. Lucy, on the other hand, goes through boys like they're this year's birthday gifts and isn't at all shy about flirting and dating.
* GeniusDitz: She knows how to talk to boys and, given her long dating history, her tactic has been working extremely well.
* HairColorDissonance: Her hair is black but is coloured in dark blue shades.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Her teasing of Kentin, mainly because he still has somewhat fragile self esteem which isn't immediately evident.
* KickTheDog: Her teasing Kentin in Episode 20 comes across as mean-spirited, so much so that even Candy is appalled and scolds her afterwards. Lucy promises to apologize for it.
* LoveAtFirstSight: She falls in love with every cute guy she sees.
* NiceGirl: She genuinely gets along well with Candy. In fact if you tell her you like Dakota she'll immediately back off.
* WingdingEyes: The shines in her eyes turn into hearts when she sees a cute boy.

* FashionModel: She's trying to become a professional model. It doesn't seem like her career's going well, though, judging by the number of rejection letters she's gotten.

* AsianAirhead: Type 1. She's vain, petty, and not very intelligent.

* AmbiguousDisorder: She's painfully shy, nervous, and has very low-self confidence. It's possible she suffers social anxiety and possibly depression. If so, it's never been confirmed.

For example, she makes wild accusations that are plainly not true if it means convincing herself that Candy isn't right for Nathaniel. This reaches its boiling point if you're on Nathaniel's route and she finds out you two are dating. She absolutely refuses to believe it's true at first.
* DoggedNiceGirl: At some point in the past, she confessed her feelings to Nathaniel who politely turned her down. Despite this, she holds out hope that her crush will be returned one day. In the meantime, she'll do anything for him even though it doesn't earn her any brownie points.
* HopelessSuitor: Nathaniel has not shown any romantic interest in Melody, and though he's already rebuffed her once, she still can't help but have a crush on him. And since he's a possible route, there won't be any chance of her feelings being returned.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: She's usually a very sweet girl, but if she gets the vaguest hint that Candy's showing any romantic interest in Nathaniel, she grows very distant and cold; at one point even accuses Candy of being just like Amber, despite the fact that that's plainly not true. Once she finds out Candy and Nathaniel are officially dating, she refuses to believe it at first, even screaming at Candy. When she does accept it, she becomes noticeably short with her.

Kim is a punkish girl who hates math, hates English, and is easily annoyed when things don't go right. Still, she's a friendly, dependable girl who comes through when Candy needs her. She appears to live an exciting life outside of school that Candy is curious about, but she can't stand drama and prefers to stay out of it. Kim is the most easygoing and laid back of all the characters, but make her mad and she can whip out some pretty sharp insults.

* CoolBigSister: They're the same age, but she acts this way towards Candy once they become friends.
* TheComplainerIsAlwaysWrong: Subverted. In Episode 11, Kim complains about how hard the race to which Candy tells her to stop complaining and enjoy the race. Later on, Candy starts complaining about the difficulty as well to whoever her partner is and he tells her to shut up.
* OddFriendship: She's extroverted and brash whereas her best friend Violette is very shy and introverted. One of their shared interests is art.

A shy, artsy girl, Violette is pretty quiet and mostly keeps to herself. Her timid exterior hides a kind soul, and the more she talks to Candy, the more she comes out of her shell. She is very talented in drawing and sewing and almost always carries around an art board.

* AmbiguousDisorder: She's painfully shy, nervous, and has very low-self confidence. It's possible she suffers social anxiety and possibly depression. If so, it's never been confirmed.
* BewareTheQuietOnes: When Capucine badmouths Candy in front of her by saying she's holding her back, Violette's response is to shout at Capucine that Candy is her friend. Candy even notes that she's surprised at Violette's reaction.
* CharacterDevelopment: She slowly grows out of her shell more the more Candy interacts with her.
* EtTuBrute: She takes Deborah's side, before figuring out if what Deborah says about Candy is true or not.

Not the nicest girl you'll come across. Capucine is an Amber fan through and through and will hate on your candy just as Amber does. Though she isn't nearly as ruthless as her idol (though that is NOT for lack of trying) she's still doing everything she can to replicate your relationship with Amber.

* DubNameChange: Depending on the version, her name is either Karla (Spanish), Bia (Brazil), or Daisy (UK).
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Due to her wish to become apart of Amber's group, she isn't all that close to her other classmates, but she still hangs out with them from time to time.
* HiddenDepths: She's actually very knowledgeable about art. She's the only girl at Sweet Amoris (besides Candy and Rosalya) to be in a committed relationship, and her boyfriend doesn't look sterotypically attractive.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: She wants to be liked, but she doesn't know how, and goes about it the wrong way by imitating Amber.
* SmugSnake: She tries to invoke this, but she isn't as good at it as Amber or Deborah. Candy doesn't even bother getting upset when she runs into Capucine, usually just brushing her off.
