* {{Badass}}: Read her story. There's lots of this. Particularly in the way of shattering unbreakable swords.

* {{Badass}}: This is the man responsible for the word "GAR", the method of measurement by which badassness is measured. His nickname is [=GARcher=] for a reason.

* {{Badass}}: He's the freakin' [[RedBaron King of Heroes]] for a good reason.

[[TheEpicOfGilgamesh The Legendary King of Heroes himself]]. The ancient King of Uruk, and the world's oldest hero. Along with Enkidu he had many adventures, and rebuilt the Walls of Uruk with his son. In life, he was obsessed with achieving immortality, as he was still bound to a mortal life by his one third humanity. After he was slain by Saber at the end of the Fifth Holy Grail War, he was the first Servant to be summoned in the Magus Wars by Sierra.

[[quoteright:225:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/HakunoTvtropes_6752.png]]A canon character, originally from {{VideoGame/FateExtra}}. Born with a rare brain disease that afflicted Hakuno with memory loss, his parents were approached by a scientist/doctor named Twice H. Pieceman[[hottip:*:Also from Extra]], who agreed to treat his condition if they would recover and share the Holy Grail for him. They began their search just as the Fourth War was finishing, and were killed in the fire that concluded it. Twice became the boy's foster father and began grooming him to enter the Fifth Holy Grail War and win the Grail for him, a plan which failed as he was unable to summon a Servant in time. With the events of the Magus Wars, Twice assumed that the Sixth Holy Grail War had begun, and instructed Hakuno to summon a Servant and fight. Hakuno, determined not to let his foster father or extended family down, did exactly that.

** In Magus Mode, Haku's a true Determinator, eager to find the Holy Grail in whatever form it's manifested itself in. Granted, this is likely something Twice drilled into him, as he shows hints of regretting how far he feels he has to go in order to accomplish his goals.

And, on a meta-level, they're both the protagonists of other works.

Wulfina Ecgtheowing, daughter of Egtheo Ecgtheowing, is better known as the legendary Geatish Warrior-King, Beowulf. Heir to a significant portion of the unified Scandanavian throne, she forged her legend from a young age, slaying the demon Grendel, and his mother Accenic. She rose to the throne as the illustrious King of Thanes, and was hailed by all in her domain as the greatest hero who lived following her fateful ordeal with a dragon. Summoned as a Saber, she fights in the war solely for the promise of great battles.

* {{BFS}}: Byrndennmel, the Giant's Sword. In her legend, only Beowulf was said to have the physical strength required to heft it.
** Unfortunatly after she stabbed Acennic with it, the blade corroded into uselessness. She still kept it as a trophy.
*** It's also quite a special sword, having been created outside of the mortal plane after Gilgamesh's time. This would make it one of the few Noble Phantasms not stored inside the Gate of Babylon.
**** The sword is even more special being one of the few EX-ranked Noble Phantasms.
* BloodKnight: Wulfina loves to fight, regardless of whom it is she fights, or whom she fights for. She does have her principles though, and relishes the chance to test her limits.
* BoisterousBruiser: And how.
* CharacterAlignment: Chaotic Neutral.
** She doesn't care much for authority beyond her own. Her tastes as a royal left her fond of the grand and regal, but equally disgusted by the gaudy and grand for grand's sake.
* CoolSword: She had three. Hrunting was supposedly tempered in blood, able to always strike whatever target it was aimed at. Byrndennmel managed to succeed where Hrunting failed, and helped kill a True Demon. Lastly Naegling, an indestructible seax, it's hilt lined with jewel studs, said to drive home like a nail, hence the name.
* GenderBender: As is oft with the Nasuverse, Beowulf has been beaten soundly with the gender stick. Justification for it is that Beowulf was only ever referred to by name, never by gender-specific pronouns.
** Ergo most historians simply assumed that Beowulf, like many heroes of her time, was a man, something she uses much to her advantage like Arturia.

Theatrical, vain, pompous and somewhat arrogant, but with a genuinely good heart and a caring relationship with her master. In life, Nero was the Fifth Emperor of the Roman Empire, remembered, perhaps falsely, as a tyrant. Originally one of the three playable Servants in Fate/Extra, she was summoned by Hakuno with the assistance of Twice Pieceman, and has much the same relationship with him as she did in Extra.
