* HatedByAll: Because of the events of the 365 days, the general public does not have a positive opinion of the Nine Terrors. Among the Terrors themselves, it can be zigzagged in that while they can be respected and befriended by individuals, others can be understandably wary of them even after getting to know them personally (Kurenai, Sai, and minor characters Haruna and Kohada have varying levels of distance when it comes to Naruto). This trope is definitely in force among the general populace of Whirl City in particular, one of the cities most badly affected by the 365 days, as they make it clear that they don't want Naruto setting foot on their shores again (and Yugito has to hide her own Kyuushingai status while in that city).

[[folder:The Group as a Whole]]
* AnimalThemeNaming: Their code-names, as revealed in Chapter 3: Shukaku the Raccoon (Gaara), Matatabi the Cat (Yugito), Isobu the Turtle (Yagura), Son Goku the Gorilla (Roshi), Kokuo the Horse (Han), Saiken the Slug (Utakata), Chomei the Beetle (Fuu), Gyuki the Bull (Killer Bee), and Kurama the Fox (Naruto). Yugito later reveals that Killer Bee pulled double-duty with his rapper nickname.
* AscendedExtra: Applies specifically to those members of the Terrors not named Naruto, Gaara or Killer Bee, as those three were major characters in canon (and one was the series' titular character). As for the other six, while their jinchuriki status certainly impacted the canon series' plot, the characters themselves weren't showcased that much (although Utakata got [[ADayInTheLimelight a limelight flashback]] in the anime).
* TheDreaded: According to the back-story, and it's made worse because to date nobody even knows what they ''look like''. During the 365 days, cities that hadn't been impacted by the Nine Terrors made a point of being extremely courteous to people they didn't know, in case said strangers might turn out to be one of the Nine and cause upheaval if crossed. The terror they inspired was so great that Mizuki's taking advantage of their reputation was enough for him to control most of Konoha Town.
* FromNobodyToNightmare: Had none of the Nine agreed to be trained by the government, and had the 365 days not happened, it's unlikely any of them would have become what they eventually did.
* ImAHumanitarian: One rumor about the Nine Terrors states that they were cannibalistic blood-drinkers who liked to [[EatsBabies eat babies]].
* MuggingTheMonster: People who don't know who they are tend to pick fights with them disturbingly often. They usually pick Naruto and simply get a beating, but when they get Yugito or Fuu they usually die.
* NeuralImplanting: [[spoiler:How the nine people who would later become the Kyuushingai got their advanced intelligence. According to Naruto, by using this method, the scientists who worked on the nine were able to cram ten years' worth of training into four months' time, and they were able to learn several languages, combat tactics and weapons skills by this method. However, in a variation of this trope, they had to actually practice the newly-gotten skills for the information to stick]].
* OneManArmy: Just one member alone is said to be able to take on a whole gang without sustaining a scratch, or kill 300 people within a fortnight.
* PersonOfMassDestruction: According to the various rumors about them arising from the 365 days' carnage, in addition to their individual OneManArmy status, all nine together could conceivably reduce a city to ashes in less than an hour.
* ShroudedInMyth: While nobody denies that the Nine Terrors exist, nobody is sure what their agenda is/was or even what they look like, resulting in all sorts of unreliable stories about them. Mizuki takes advantage of this to pass himself off as a former Kyuushingai, three months prior to the start of the story.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: Again, applies specifically to those members of the terrors not named Naruto, Gaara or Killer Bee; in canon, the others were killed at different points in time by Akatsuki.
* SuperSoldier: What they were trained to be.
* UrbanLegends: As explained above, a lot of these cropped up about the Kyuushingai and the 365 days, within the two-year TimeSkip after the end of that time, and most of those legends made the Nine Terrors out to be superhuman beings based on the level of destruction that was left in their wake. Aside from the rumors and legends listed here, there are claims that collateral damage from any two Kyuushingai fighting each other would be catastrophic[[note]]the closest to catastrophic that's actually shown is when Utakata causes some damage to a parking garage with his whips during his fight with Naruto, but otherwise the rest of the building they're in remains intact; also, Fuu doesn't do that much structural damage with her machine gun despite the number of people she shoots dead[[/note]], that a waiter who spilled some soup while serving a guest had a massive FreakOut due to his fear that he might've offended one of the Kyuushingai[[note]]later revealed to be one of the members of Akatsuki[[/note]], that the Terrors were over nine feet tall and 400 pounds[[note]]a clear exaggeration, as Han, who's the tallest of the nine, is just a little over seven feet tall in canon[[/note]], that they wielded exotic weapons[[note]]confirmed at least with Utakata's bladed whips and Fuu's machine-gun guitar[[/note]], and that the real death toll from the 365 days was between 1000 and 2000 casualties despite the "official" number being 247[[note]]Yugito confirms that the "official" number is false[[/note]].
* YouAreAlreadyDead: According to the rumors, the Kyuushingai could kill people so quickly that the victims wouldn't even know they were dead till after the fact.

[[folder:Nii Yugito]]
A member of the Kyuushingai, code-named "Matatabi the Cat." Two years after the 365-day carnage, she's working as a government agent, first being introduced in the story when she arrives to warn Naruto about the activities of Akatsuki.
* ActionGirl: By proxy since she was a member of the Kyuushingai.
* AggressiveSubmissive: Itachi surmises that she's this. Yugito doesn't deny it.
* AllWomenArePrudes: Averted with Yugito. While she confides to Itachi late in the story that she's in fact a virgin, she's not afraid of showing off her body, as the ShamelessFanserviceGirl trope below outlines. [[spoiler:And the seventh Gaiden implies she's not afraid to use a few...sexual aids in consummating her marriage to Itachi later on]].
* AmazonianBeauty: On full display in Chapter 43, where Hinata catches her in a ShowerOfAwkward and then spends a few minutes EatingTheEyeCandy. Hinata observes that Yugito has significant muscular tone all over, including her limbs and butt, as well as a total absence of belly fat that allows for showcasing of her abs. Plus, elsewhere throughout the story Yugito is described as being a HeadTurningBeauty.
* AnimalMotif: Hers is the cat. Different characters have at one time or another addressed her as "kitty-cat" or some other cat-themed variation, plus she uses [[WolverineClaws claws]] to fight, she can be stealthy when necessary, and on at least one occasion she chooses milk as a drink order.
* AscendedExtra: In canon, even as one of the jinchuriki, she had an extremely minor role overall. Here, although she's first introduced in Chapter 39, she soon gains ground as a major character in her own right.
* BadassTeacher: Becomes one for Hinata.
* BathingBeauty: Whether in a hot tub or a WaterfallShower, she apparently ''loves'' engaging in this. She actually admits to Itachi that she likes taking baths whenever she can.
* BeneathTheMask: Beneath the tough-as-nails ActionGirl who happens to be [[ShamelessFanserviceGirl shameless about showing off her body]], there is a woman who is scared of being vulnerable, helpless, or in any way unable to defend herself, as well as someone who [[IJustWantToBeNormal just wants to be a normal person]]. Itachi is the only person who she's willingly removed the mask for, to date, though Hinata has gotten a brief glimpse underneath it as well.
* BigBreastPride: "No implants...everything's 100 percent me."
* BoobsOfSteel: According to Hinata's observation, Yugito's melons aren't quite the size of actual melons, but they're still impressively sized. Additionally, Yugito is one of the stronger fighters in the story.
* CoolBigSis: Develops this relationship with Hinata.
* CovertPervert: Implied in the seventh Gaiden [[spoiler:where she had a number of, ahem, ''tools'' ready to use with Itachi on their wedding night]].
--> '''[[spoiler:Itachi]]:''' Uh, Yugito, dear...are those what I think those are...? And what's ''that'' thing for...? And what the hell is THAT?
* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: At least, going off of Hinata's blushing while seeing her in the WaterfallShower in Chapter 43...plus the fact that Hinata ''keeps'' watching after the initial surprise.
* FairCop: She used to be this prior to her Kyuushingai training. She was fairly high-ranking too, having made detective-sergeant at the time of her volunteering for the Kyuushingai program.
* GoodIsNotNice [[GoodIsNotSoft or Soft]]: Just because she's on Naruto's side, that doesn't mean she'll go easy on opponents. [[spoiler:Just ask Kin, Monjin and Hidan...[[KilledOffForReal oh wait]]]].
* IJustWantToBeNormal: In Chapter 77, she confides to Itachi that she just wants to be a regular woman, as far as her feelings toward her Kyuushingai status are concerned.
--> '''Yugito:''' Sometimes I wish I could just be...me. Not an ex-cop. Not a member of the Nine Terrors. Not a secret government operative. Just ''me''.

* LittleBlackDress: She is introduced in Chapter 39 wearing one of these at the Hyuga social event.
* MsFanservice / ShamelessFanserviceGirl: Yugito isn't shy about taking a WaterfallShower whenever she can, even if someone happens to come across her that way. She's actually quite amused that Hinata, having accidentally caught her in just such a situation, has thereafter spent a good few minutes staring at the older woman's, uh, assets. Of course, Yugito puts on a bathrobe afterward, since Hinata's there to talk about serious matters and she doesn't want to embarrass the young girl further (but she's not above verbally teasing her about it).
--> '''Yugito:''' Enjoying the view, Hyuga-chan?
* SexyMentor: For Hinata. Also for Naruto, to a lesser degree.
* TheTease: She deliberately let Hinata see her in the WaterfallShower just to get a rise out of the younger woman, as she later admits to Itachi.
* {{Tsundere}}: As revealed in the first Gaiden chapter, she has this attitude toward Itachi [[spoiler:long before their RelationshipUpgrade]].
* TwoGirlsToATeam: With Fuu, during their stint in the Kyuushingai.
* WolverineClaws: Her weapon of choice for melee combat is a pair of gloves equipped with claws that are hidden inside the knuckles, activated or deactivated as needed via a hidden mechanism in the palm of the gloves' heels.[[note]]She also had claws in canon, but there she grew them out of her fingernails as an ability borne of her jinchuriki powers.[[/note]]

[[folder:Utakata]]
A member of the Kyuushingai, with the code-name "Saiken the Slug." Two years after the 365-day carnage, he has become a serial killer who focuses on doctors and their families.
* AdaptationalVillainy: In canon, he's not particularly stated to be an evil person, albeit he ''was'' one of the jinchuriki who'd gotten disillusioned due to mistreatment by his village.
* AxCrazy: Had hints of this before he became a Kyuushingai. The training he underwent did not help in this regard, although he had the presence of mind to hide his mental illness from the attending physicians and trainers in charge of the program.
--> '''Utakata:''' They allowed a psychopath like me to be transformed into a SMART psychopath.
* BadassLongcoat: A blue one.
* CripplingOverspecialization: Averted, much to Naruto's surprise when they fight. Despite being proficient at long-range whip-fighting, Utakata proves himself capable of using empty-hand techniques, including kicks, if his opponent happens to get inside his range. Lampshaded by Utakata himself when, moments after Naruto's gotten close enough to land a few hits, he shocks Naruto by pulling an over-arcing kick that catches the blond boy right in the face.
--> '''Utakata:''' You think I was only going to focus on ''one'' type of fighting style?
* GlassCannon: Good at dishing out hits long-range (and short-range too, if pressed), but suffers a great deal if he's hit himself.
* KnightOfCerebus: Prior to Utakata showing up, every opponent Naruto faced was out of their league (Mizuki and his gang, Aoi, Kiba), skilled but not malicious enough to actually want to kill him (Sasuke, Jugo, Sai, Shikamaru), or, at worst, antagonistic but unable to follow through with extreme violence for one reason or another (Suigetsu, Tenten). The Slug? He's able to fight Naruto in a potential death-match on equal footing and has no qualms about taking off Naruto's head ''and'' almost does so, only failing due to quick movements on Naruto's part. That's the first indication that things are not going to be business as usual from then on out.
* LeaveNoWitnesses: Whenever Utakata went on a serial-killing spree during the two-year TimeSkip, anybody unlucky enough to be in the vicinity would not escape, even if they weren't his specified targets. It's the reason he managed to elude the law for as long as he did.
* SerialKiller: As noted above. [[spoiler:His particular targets were all involved in the Kyuushingai's training]].
* SlasherSmile
* WhipItGood: Utakata's signature weapon, during his time with the Kyuushingai. Specifically, he utilizes two whips that are outfitted with blades along their length; the blades are strategically placed so that they won't impede the whips' natural ability to bend, making them pseudo-[[WhipSword whip-swords]]; as well, [[WordOfGod the author's commentary]] notes that this was inspired by [[Manga/RurouniKenshin Cho of the Jupon Gatana]]. [[spoiler:It's how Kizashi was able to figure out that the serial killing spree during the last two years was Utakata's doing. When Naruto is told of the whip-wounds the victims sustained, he too figures it out]].
* WouldHurtAChild: Utakata, in his debut chapter, shows that he's not averse to murdering children, as evidenced by the speech he gives their father before butchering him.
--> '''Utakata:''' Don't worry about your children. They are beyond help now...just as your wife is...just as you soon will be.

[[folder:Yagura]]
A member of the Kyuushingai, with the code-name "Isobu the Turtle." He is a gang leader who hails from Mist City and is the leader of the infamous Blood Mist gang. When first introduced in the main timeline, he's accepting an invitation from Gaara to join forces with LOVE, specifically as the primary distributor of Gaara's Gold Sand drug, and is later inducted into LOVE's Council of the Dawn as the holder of the seat of Frost[[note]]Ice[[/note]].
* TheAggressiveDrugDealer: He jumps on board when Gaara offers to make him the primary dealer with control over 90 percent of the profit from the sale of Gaara's "merchandise."
* AllCrimesAreEqual: He believes that sexual crimes are no different from other types of crime. The rest of the Council [[EvenEvilHasStandards proceeds to explain why that won't fly with them]].
* BreakTheHaughty: Starts happening to him from the moment [[spoiler:Hinata]], who clearly shouldn't be able to match him in a straight-up fight, manages to fend him off, even conking him with a frying pan in the process. [[HumiliationConga Following that]], he gets several pot-shots to the crotch during his fight with Yugito, he gets dunked into a pool, he has a murder attempt foiled ''and'' his balls squeezed to subdue him, several onlookers take photos and videos of said ball-squeezing...
* DisappearedDad: In his back-story, his father, who was a career criminal, was shot to death by the police.
* TheDreaded: His name is well known even to the ordinary citizens of Konoha Town. Keep in mind, this is ''without'' his Kyuushingai status being public knowledge.
--> '''Haku:''' I've heard of that guy...his crimes are ghastly.
* FantasticDrug: He's the main peddler of the Gold Sand drug-pill for Gaara.
* GoodScarsEvilScars: His facial scar, here having been given to him by Naruto.
* JuryAndWitnessTampering: Among Yagura's many atrocities as leader of the Blood Mist gang, it's revealed that he caused the disappearances of several key witnesses in a case where he was charged with the gangland slaying of six men in one night.
* KnifeNut: While at the Hyuga mansion, he gleefully wields a meat-cleaver and a steak-knife, one in each hand.
* LowerClassLout: Chapter 40, his introductory chapter, explicitly states that he grew up in poverty as the son of a prostitute, and he and the Blood Mist Gang reside in a run-down building in Mist City's Seppuku Society neighborhood. It's emphasized when he meets Gaara for dinner in the same chapter, as while Gaara orders a venison steak, potato salad, pasta with mushroom sauce, and a pineapple-banana blended drink, Yagura makes a simpler order of a hamburger with extra onions, hash browns, chicken nuggets with sweet-and-sour sauce, and a cola, despite them being in a very luxurious restaurant where he could order something more expensive on Gaara's dime.
* NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast / RedBaron: As Chapter 62 reveals, one of his nicknames is "the Butcher of the Valley of the Shadow of Death." Later chapters establish that he has a shorter nickname, "the Mist City Butcher," which is no less intimidating.
* SonOfAWhore: Yagura was raised by his mother, who provided "escort services."
* TakingTheBullet: How he got his facial scar. During the fight that kick-started the 365 days, he pushed Gaara out of the way of a meat-cleaver thrown by Naruto and took the blade in his own face instead.
* VillainousFriendship: With Gaara, including prior to the 365 days.
* WouldHitAGirl: If he's of a mind to kill you, having a vagina won't save you.
* WouldHurtAChild: [[spoiler:He would have murdered Hanabi if not for Neji's intervention]].
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Roshi]]
A member of the Kyuushingai, code-named "Son Goku the Gorilla." Two years after the 365-day rampage, he works as the curator of the Iwa City Museum.
* BadassBeard: Just like with his canon counterpart.
* BerserkButton: Two of them--attacking innocents and assaulting his museum. Deidara hit both ''simultaneously''.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: Yes, he's a DirtyOldMan and is not ashamed of it...but he single-handedly took out a member of Akatsuki [[spoiler:by blowing him up with a grenade]].
* BunnyEarsLawyer: He's a lecherous old pervert who happens to be the very knowledgeable curator of Iwa City's museum. In the two chapters where he's shown up, he's shown to be quite competent at his job, but spends more time ogling and lusting after Kurenai and recalling how he once tried to grope Yugito [[NoodleIncident and the undisclosed events that happened as a result of that]].
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Yes, he acts like a pervert who just ''happens'' to be a curator...but keep in mind that this guy WAS one of the Nine Terrors.
* CoolOldGuy: He is the oldest of the Nine Terrors, and is perfectly capable of dishing out a beating.
* DirtyOldMan: When Naruto openly accuses him of being this ([[WeDoNotKnowEachOther while pretending not to know who he is]]), Roshi doesn't deny it, even going as far as to give Kurenai a too-interested look. This behavior of his was also the subject of a NoodleIncident with Yugito, as Naruto recalls.
* GeniusBruiser: Roshi worked as a museum curator prior to joining the Kyuushingai training program. Following the 365 days, the first thing he did was to go right back to being museum curator in Iwa City, and yet two years later he's strong and skilled enough to fight [[MadBomber Deidara]].
* LastNameBasis: As revealed with his granddaughter Ajisai in the Gaiden Chronicles, Roshi is in fact their family name.
* LetsGetDangerous: Kurenai notes that the Roshi who orders her to take her students to safety so he can take on Deidara unhindered is a ''very'' far cry from the DirtyOldMan who was ogling her mere moments earlier.
* LovableSexManiac: Although he embarrasses Kurenai with his perverted ways, when it comes to serious topics (such as the casualties of the 365 days), he's quite paternal, especially when discussing the subject of the past with Naruto, a fellow [[TheAtoner atoner]]. Even Yugito, who Roshi likewise lusted after and once tried to grope, has fairly fond memories of him, as does Fuu, who reacts badly upon discovering [[spoiler:Konan managed to kill Roshi]].
* RelatedInTheAdaptation: In this story, he's Ajisai's grandfather; in canon, they have no connections to each other.
* RetiredBadass: As far as Kyuushingai activity was concerned.
* WrestlerInAllOfUs: Roshi pulls a suplex on Deidara early in their fight in Chapter 45.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Han]]
A member of the Kyuushingai, code-named "Kokuo the Horse." Two years after the 365-day carnage, he's living as a pastor in charge of a soup kitchen.
* ApologeticAttacker: He gives a brief apology to a dog before [[MercyKill breaking its neck to end its suffering]], despite the dog being a trained attack dog which had just tried to maul him and got thrown into an electric fence for its trouble.
* TheAtoner: Why he became a pastor.
* BadassPreacher: He may have become a pastor as a way to atone for his sins, but he is still capable of kicking the crap out of people.
* CombatPragmatist: He knows that shining a flashlight in an enemy's face will blind and distract them long enough to give him the upper hand and take them out.
* EmotionalBruiser: When we first meet him, Han is heading a soup kitchen that feeds the local homeless population of his city, plus he expresses remorse at the suffering that the 365 days (of which he was a part) caused...and yet he is capable of handing out a brutal beating when pressed.
* GoodIsNotSoft: He may not desire to go back to the violence of his past self during the 365 days, but while he may not kill you, he ''will'' cause you a world of pain in subduing you. [[spoiler:Case in point: he blasts out Menma's knee with a shotgun]].
* GoodShepherd: How his subordinates and patrons at his soup kitchen see him.
* ImprobableAimingSkills: He proves good enough with a firearm to shoot people in their extremities while he and they are on the move.
* LightningBruiser: Despite being as tall as he is, Han is ''not'' any slower because of it; in fact, it's pointed out by Gaara that, during his time in the Kyuushingai, Han would use this to his advantage against smaller opponents who thought they'd be faster than him because of the size difference.
* MyGreatestFailure: [[spoiler:He reveals that he had an opportunity to kill Gaara around the start of the 365 days, but never did so; he regrets the missed opportunity to this day]].
* ReluctantWarrior: He'd much rather not fight if he can avoid it. [[GoodIsNotSoft If you force him to, though]]...
* ThatManIsDead: Han declares to Gaara, during their confrontation in Chapter 48, that his former persona of Kokuo the Horse is dead, citing this trope verbatim in said declaration.

[[folder:Fuu]]
A member of the Kyuushingai, she had the code-name "Chomei the Beetle." According to Yugito, prior to the 365 days, Fuu had dreams of becoming a famous musician. Currently, she's footloose, going wherever she pleases with her guitar.
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Fuu in this story is considerably cynical and bitter, in contrast to her canon personality which is much more friendly and happy-go-lucky
* CynicismCatalyst: Her experiences during the 365 days left a sour impression on her.
* TheDrifter: From what Yugito tells Hinata in Chapter 43, Fuu was this before she became one of the Kyuushingai. In addition, Fuu has been living as this in the two-year period following the 365 days of terror.
* DudeWheresMyRespect: She's got issues with people's lack of gratitude for what she did in service to her country, during the 365 days, when she never expected to become a pariah as a member of the Kyuushingai. It leads to an angry MotiveRant when she's confronted about it by Tenten.
* GlorySeeker: Wanted stardom as a musician, and later wanted recognition and honor for having taken part in the government's training that gave birth to the Kyuushingai. That she got neither, because of the fallout from the 365 days, is a source of rage for her.
* GoodIsNotSoft: She doesn't think twice about shooting a couple of gangsters dead to save the protagonists.
* ICallItVera: She calls her guitar "Mariachi."
* ImprobableWeaponUser: A guitar that pulls double-duty as a musical instrument and a firearm.
* InstrumentOfMurder: Fuu has a machine gun hidden inside her guitar.
* MyGreatestFailure: [[spoiler: Killing Tenten's parents believing she was getting rid of a biker gang]].
* TheResenter: She isn't harboring any friendly feelings toward Naruto since she blames him (and Gaara also) for certain events during the 365 days which led to Killer Bee's self-sacrifice.
* TookALevelInCynic: Prior to signing up for the training program that would eventually give birth to the Kyuushingai, Fuu was somewhat carefree. After the year of carnage, she became a ''lot'' more bitter.
* TragicKeepsake: Her guitar was a gift from Killer Bee.
* TwoGirlsToATeam: With Yugito, during their stint in the Kyuushingai.
* [[YouGottaHaveBlueHair You Gotta Have Green Hair]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kira Hachi]]
A member of the Kyuushingai, who had the code-name "Gyuki the Bull." Also known as Killer Bee, a nickname he had adopted as an aspiring rapper before the 365 days. According to Yugito, he sacrificed himself to an angry mob near the end of that year, leading to the Nine Terrors disappearing.
* BerserkButton: Disrespecting his brother. Anybody doing that would be lucky if he ''only'' beat them to within an inch of their lives.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: Just like his canon counterpart, he would often make up some really awful rap-rhymes, but he was still powerful enough to strong-arm his way through a rampaging mob.
* DeathByAdaptation: In canon, while Bee certainly came close to death a few times, he wound up surviving all the way to the end of the series. In this story, Bee reportedly sacrificed himself to an angry mob in an effort to appease escalating tensions over the actions of the Kyuushingai; this event is first mentioned by Yugito in Chapter 43, and then referenced again on different occasions thereafter. [[spoiler:Until Chapter 150's revelation that he's not quite so dead after all]].
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: The Foolish to Ay's responsible, by his own admission.
* DoNotCallMePaul: According to Yugito, Hachi insisted on being called Killer Bee instead of his real name, as Bee was the name he intended to use once he broke into the music business.
* LightningBruiser: Big, strong, and ''fast''.
* NamedByTheAdaptation: In canon, he's only ever really known as Killer Bee, with a number of fans having attributed proper given names to him. Kira Hachi is the name the author decided to call him for the purposes of this story, with Killer Bee as a nickname.
* PainfulRhyme: Much like his canon counterpart. Lampshaded by his brother Ay in a flashback, in which they were hiding from townspeople bent on killing the Kyuushingai:
--> '''Ay:''' Still making stupid rhymes, even at a time like this?
* RelatedInTheAdaptation: He and Ay are biologically brothers in this story, whereas in canon they're only brothers by way of symbolism.
* ScaryBlackMan: Largely averted, as he's remembered by those who knew him as being a very fun-loving sort. [[spoiler:Played straight when masquerading as Ay, however]].
