* NewPowersAsThePlotDemands: With the apparent [[MasterOfIllusion power of illusions,]] he's the member of the organization with the least consistent abilities throughout his appearances. In ''Re:COM,'' he fights primarily via [[MegaManning stealing Riku's cards to use against him, even manifesting a copy of his Soul Eater sword]] as well as [[DopplegangerAttack summoning doubles]] to assist in his onslaught. In ''Final Mix II,'' his absent silhouette has the completely different tactic of trapping Sora, Donald, and Goofy in books, sending them into a PocketDimension where he assaults them with various magic and more copies of his books. Come, ''358/2 Days'' and he has another new fighting style with his combos involving him [[ThrowTheBookAtThem smacking enemies with his book.]] While some combo-finishers simply have him literally throwing his book at enemies, most have him manipulate his book in [[ConfusionFu various, bizarre ways]] such as summoning blades from its pages, having the book sprout wings before flying into enemies, or expanding the book and having it snap shut on enemies as if biting them. Just about the only attack carried between his appearances is [[ColonyDrop him dropping meteors]] in ''Final Mix II'' and ''Days.''

In ''Final Mix II,'' there's no [[FightLikeACardPlayer card system]] anymore so his absent silhouette has the completely different tactic of trapping Sora, Donald, and Goofy in books, sending them into a PocketDimension where he assaults them with various magic and more copies of his books. Added DiffLines:

* ColonyDrop: For his DesperationAttack in ''Final Mix II,'' if you fail to reach shelter within the blue spotlight once it moves 13 times in a row, you'll be assaulted by meteors as he [[EvilLaugh laughs all the while.]] In ''358/2 Days,'' he also has the LimitBreak of "Meteor Mirage" which similarly assaults enemies with shadowy meteors.

Added DiffLines:

* ThePowerOfRock: In ''358/2 Days'' only, he will often end his combos by blasting enemies with sound-waves generated from his various sitars. For a few weapons though, he'll instead resort to simply smashing Heartless over the head by swinging his sitar by the neck and using it as a makeshift club. [[BoringButPractical Ironically, these tend to be some of his strongest attacks.]]

Added DiffLines:

* SquishyWizard: Subverted. While her low Defense and Strength stats combined with her high Magic stat in ''358/2 Days'' would place her into this category in most circumstances, her [[FragileSpeedster oft-displayed skill in fast-paced, close-quarters combat]] arguably make her more of a MagicKnight if anything.

* GlassCannon: In ''Days'', his poor defenses are balanced by his high Magic stat allowing him to quickly dispatch enemies, especially those with elemental weaknesses. He also boasts a high Crit Bonus stat on par with that of [[TheBerserker Saïx.]] While he has a low Critical % stat, usage of [[CounterAttack Block-Counter and Aerial Attack]] can allow him to deal surprisingly heavy damage with physical attacks alone.

* CriticalHitClass: In ''358/2 Days'', he boasts the best CriticalHit stats, having the best Critical % and Crit Bonus by a mile. With the right abilities such as Block-Counter and Aerial Payback which have guaranteed critical hits or any weapon or accessory that grants Critical Boost, he can tear through enemies with every attack.

Added DiffLines:

* HerdHittingAttack: His specialty in ''358/2 Days'' with most of his combos having exceptional range, allowing him to easily rack up damage against multiple enemies though perhaps it somewhat leaves him [[CripplingOverspecialization less than exceptional in one-on-one fights.]]

Added DiffLines:

* JackOfAllStats: His stats in ''358/2 Days'' are all relatively balanced with a slight bias towards Magic. He stands out from the other balanced fighters with his [[HerdHittingAttack wide-ranged, sweeping combos.]]

Added DiffLines:

* PromotedToPlayable: Every single member is playable in the Mission Mode of ''358/2 Days.''

* JackOfAllStats: In ''358/2 Days'', he has average all-around stats though there is a slight bias towards Strength as well as a number of his weapons boasting strong wide-ranged combo finishers.

* LightningBruiser: In BerserkMode, he's very durable, fast and uses a variety of strong, wide-reaching attacks. In ''358/2 Days'', he boasts similarly quick combos, high Strength, and average Defenses with his only real weakness being [[DumpStat Magic.]] Combined with having the best Critical stats in the game, he's one of the most effective characters to play as in Mission Mode.

Added DiffLines:

** ''Re:Mind'' reveals that hes been taking full advantage of being BeneathNotice to the point that he, rightfully, concludes that Xigbar has his own agenda. It's even ''heavily'' implied that Luxord knows far more about what's going on then he initially let on.

* MightyGlacier: In ''Days'', he combines the best physical stats, both defensive and offensive, with the slowest attack speed in the game.

* MightyGlacier: Has one of the less mobile fighting styles any time he's fought but he compensates tenfold in terms of brutality and endurance. In ''Days'', he combines the best physical stats, both defensive and offensive, with the slowest attack speed in the game.

Added DiffLines:

* MagicallyIneptFighter: Despite holding power over the Earth itself, in ''Days'' he has the worst Magic stat in the entire organization.
