* AmbiguouslyBi: One of those rare instances where it's the straight part that's more in question. Saki quite often shows a very strong attraction to other female characters and even at times sexual desire. On the other hand, the only boy she shows any attraction to is Naoya, and while she does show a '''strong''' desire to do sexual acts with him, she also has sometimes forgone furthering their relationship, such as trying to get an intimate kiss with him, but then actually forgetting about it when the time comes. At one point while extremely drunk she tries to have sex with Naoya, when Shino asks if she can watch, Saki decides that Shino should join them.
** Chapter 132 throws any ambiguity out the window when after watching Nagisa and Shino both making out with Naoya she decides she too wants to try dating the girls and three time as well.

* DealWithTheDevil: With her being the devil, Naoya strikes a bargain with her after realizing that he can't ignore Rika and hope she goes away. The deal is Naoya will no longer deny her advances, she is free to do as she wants, just short of sex, but if after 5 months Naoya still doesn't love her she will give up on him.

* HaremSeeker: [[spoiler:After coming to terms with the two/three timing and watching both Shino and Nagisa make out with Naoya, Saki decides that she wants to two/three time Naoya with Shino and and Nagisa as well. She called out Naoya on pretty much everything, from pushing Saki into accepting his proposal, to calling out all the legal problems a threesome relationship would have. She is also quick to call everyone else out on their insane naivete as well. However, while she doesn't exactly approve of the poly relationship, she still takes advantage of it because she feels it's the only way she can get romantically close to Naoya, she lies about any attempt she makes to Saki, and there have been plenty of occasions that show she's trying to catch his attention (like deciding to stay at his house or wearing lingerie during her designated sleep with him).

** Even though he loves hard working and putting your all into something you're passionate about, Naoya draws the line in missing school work and other healthy activities. Instead of being amazed that Nagisa ditched school to become more of an "ideal girlfriend" for him, he was shocked and worried for her.
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: PlayedForLaughs, Naoya will quite often admit that he is untrustworthy around women because he is already two-timing trash.
* HonorBeforeReason: Because of his overly serious personality he absolutely refuses to lie for any reason.

** The guy has an almost vehement aversion to dishonesty of any kind, to the point that it, combined with InsaneTrollLogic, compels him to date Saki and Minase. Yet on the first night he, Saki, and Minase spend together, where the latter searches through Saki's phone history for ideas of how to appeal to her and keep the relationship together and Saki wakes up and catches her red-handed, Naoya is quick to lie and claim that he was the one doing it to protect Minase.

* UnderstandingBoyfriend: For all his fault, he does understand his girlfriends have limits and tries his best to make the situation more comfortable, despite how extreme his action can be. When Naoya finds out that Nagisa has been feeling nervous about her future, he tells her that he understands if she wants to take time and that if she wants to go to culinary school, he will gladly support her.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Probably not helped by his tendency to overthink things but he really hates flying.

* JerkassHasAPoint: She's rather aggressive about it, [[{{Hypocrite}} and isn't exactly much better since she had made some attempts to seduce him herself]], but most of her points against Naoya's two-timing relationship aren't exactly wrong. Including things such as: social stigma, the law against marrying multiple women, how difficult it'd be to support a family with two wives and the possible children they'd have, whether or not the parents would accept it, and the chance of making either of the involved parties {{Insecure Love Interest}}s, the last of which is actually right on the money. After the inn, Naoya comes to realize she had a point and aims to not only be a better boyfriend, but to find a job and hope to discuss their relationship with their parents someday.
